In South kolkata Kasba Bose pukur is One of the best Puja.Every time this is my starting puja and Every time they surprise me..ln 2019 their theme was pressure on children mind which was outstanding.In 2017 their pandel makes with PVC pipe which was very impressive decoration.

Its famous for Durga Puja. Nice to visit during puja.

Its a place where you can spend a peaceful time with yourself and God.

We cannot review the temples. Amazing to be here and feel the peace and tranquility. Nothing makes me feel my inner strength more than this place does.

It falls on the main road, that is EM By-pass connector that leads to Ruby Hospital from Gariahat Crossing. This place which attracts the public attention is their Durga Puja during Sept-Oct every year. The organisers come up with very innovative ideas every time and their pandal & idols are worth seeing. Recommended to all pandal hoppers.

This is one of the oldest theme puja of Kolkata...This is a must see puja pandal of South Kolkata...only issue is it goes a lil out of way...so some regulars do miss it...This is also a mega budget puja...In 2018 they made pandal with a theme of tattoo designs...from tribal to traditional designs...Some of the designs were made on iron frames as well...The idol also had a stone sculpture look...

In 2018 the exterior may fool you due to the size and lack of grandeur but the interiors are a treasure trove of artistic beauty. The first section has a huge central pillar structure made of mixed media. Further inside the idol enclosure are wire art, grills and the idol in a blue backdrop. No specific theme but eye soothing colors and design creating an amazing effect on visitors.You will find excellence in artistic innovation here every year. 2017 was nothing different. Over the time it has become a landmark of Kasba Bose Pukur area of eastern Kolkata, a very old locality which even 20 years back was like a suburb. This temple has no customary lore attached to it, though about 100 years old. Small simple temple in a bustling shopping and eateries area, right on Rashbehari Connector. No halo, no jostling - just a peaceful place. Everything is homely including worshipping of the deity.Comes Durga Puja time, the area gets into the cheer of overflowing celebrating humanity - its location of the famous Bose Pukur Sarbojanin.

You wont get flavour of what it is if you go there other than Durga puja, the biggest festival of Bengalis. For last several years, the committee organizes a massive decorative theme based puja pandel ( a structure where the deity is placed). For residents of Kolkata, and nearby districts, it is a must see puja pandel.
