My father who is 70 had been feeling unwell for a few days - we had concerns around BP fluctuations, digestion and some chest pain. We consulted Dr. Bhaskar Banik in this regard. He was very friendly and took the time to listen and understand the problems. He provided simple and practical solutions. He explained everything to us in details and also answered all the questions we had. Apart from the medical aspects of the problem, he pays a lot of attention to patient comfort and satisfaction - given the pandemic situation he gave us a dedicated appointment slot so that there was no rush or waiting. He shared his phone number so that we can reach him for any urgency. He mentioned that he would be willing to visit in person if the need arises. All these are a huge plus especially for aged patients. Overall we had a very good experience with Dr. Banik and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Bhaskar Banik has been taking care of my aged father and I cannot say enough on how fortunate and grateful I am to have him as our physician. He belongs to the rare group of physicians who puts a human face to the medical profession.When my father was diagnosed with Covid 19 and needed hospitalization, he went out of his way to contact his senior at AMRI, requesting that he be hospitalized (they have been refusing him since they did not have any beds available). He continues to monitor after he has been discharged and I feel so much more at peace knowing that my father is under his care and getting the best medical care. In short, Dr. Banik is truly God sent. I wished there was an option to give him more than 5 stars!

Few days back in the evening I felt feverish. The temperature kept on fluctuating. As a precautionary measure I took paracetamol and regular cotton wipes on the forehead. Whole night I couldnt sleep properly. In the very early morning my wife searched for nearby physicians and she came across Dr Bhaskar who has very high rating also. Early morning at around 6.00am she called the number and he picked up the call within 2 rings. Very earnestly he listened to her and gave immediate appointment of 7.00am.When we went to his clinic he welcomed us very warmly and immediately made us comfortable. Citing the current situation this was much much needed. He patiently listened to my condition and asked to continue with the paracetamol with slightly increased dosage. He asked to do all the required blood tests but not immediately, after 3 days if the fever doesnt subside, as any virus will show in blood tests only after 3 days and not as soon as the fever starts developing.This was very helpful as many times it becomes psychologically annoying. Just for the sake of prescribing blood tests, we wont have to visit him again, thats why he mentioned them in advance in the prescription. Thats cool. He was also prompt enough to allow us to call or WhatsApp if any difficulty comes. Fortunately enough the fever waned off in 2 days as it was a viral fever and I didnt have to go through all the unnecessary blood tests. Im extremely thankful to Dr Bhaskar specially his jovial nature. Cheers to him👍
