Poor management overall. Very crowded. No respect for time. Information given when taking an appointment is inadequate. Staff members are overloaded and hence it leads to poor service and bad behavior. Facilities are cramped for space. Very poor experience overall.
The charges are much higher than other reputed LABS in the town. No transparency regarding charges.The reports are available in some cases very late on the second day. In emergency the front office simply decline to send the photocopy in whatsapp or tell the result.

The worst place possible who take patients on their personal relationships with the people sitting inside the counter.They have no intention of extending basic services to the people instead they are more interested in gossiping among themselves in the reception. Worst place ever to go.
I got some tests done at Ashok Laboratory at Jadavpur and like all other times before I was sure to have a reassuring experience of on-time report delivery, reliable test reports, amongst many other popular adage the laboratory is known for. I was in for an unpleasant surprise however at the report collection desk where the lady in charge of handing over reports appeared most unwelcoming and rather rude. It happened when I went to collect the reports and the lady at the desk refused to tally the reports with the bill and behaved in the most unprofessional way. A small gesture of professional courtesy goes a long way in creating and sustaining reputation. Probably they can be reminded of the same and show some goodwill next time.
Awful service!! Not going back to this place ever!! I booked a home collection for my dad a day before, still the guy responsible for home collection came 1 hour late. The front end desk lady has no clue whats going on outside. Seems she is only there to receive calls and there is high level of mismanagement. They charge a premium price compared to other diagnostic centres in South Kolkata but their service doesnt even deserve a one star. In fact Im unsure how accurate the test results will be. Not at all recommend!!

In South kolkata ,it is the best pathology. It is located near Jadavpur Police station towards south city on the right hand side. Near about all kinds of blood tests , x-ray and USG done here. Home collection of blood is also available with extra charge . Report home delivery is available by extra cost. Very good diagnosis done here. Discount is available or the senior citizens.
They are working as a SINK laboratory.....they dont get the samples tested, simply put a normal value in the range without testing. i got the test done of a patient who was a known case of chronic kidney disease....who had persistenly abnormal blood reports, even one week before, for one occasion i got tested from them, they did just put a normal value, for all the test, which was not possible.horrible lab!!

We have done tests at this lab before & were satisfied.This time experience was very bad today, 6th Jan 21. The designated man for home collection did not come and his phone was debated from incoming call. The substitute came half hour late, without proper mask (I had to give him one) and gloves other safety covers, unlike last time. Card machines were not there despite telling beforehand. We had to pay nearly 3000 rs In cash, that was inconvenient.The booking centre phone remains through out busy and she was not prepared to sort out any problem.Standards have certainly fallen low and we only hope that reports come accurate and lab standards are at least maintained...
Front desk is very rude and unprofessional. The employees have no customer service etiquettes. Tests are reliable though but prices are on the higher side compared to other labs.

Diagnosis is up to the mark as per the maximum general people opinion. Doctors also prefer their diagnosis report as most accurate. So, you may avail this service without any second thought. Location also easily reachable. So when there is a matter of our health, perfect diagnosis is always desirable though it may cost slightly higher.

This is best known lab in south kolkata. But the way they handle customer is very poor.. Mis communication level is very.. Specially the lady who is sitting in reception counter.. She doesnt want to listen customer feedback at all. Requesting the management pls look into the customer feedback and trained the staff foe well handling..... Hope will get better service...
Irresponsible front office to confuse timing of collection instead of 0900AM you put 0700AM and no attempt to fix the same, when called.Abusive collector who says he will come at convenience not understanding the fasting issues of 2 senior citizens for whom the test is a need..Really will not recommend the service

Have been there for quit a few checkups over a period of time, must admit all services provided are done very efficiently and the center caters to all patients with a lot of care. K*****U at the reception behaved with my wife.No manners and utterly rude , she lacks even the basic communication skills. even went to the extent of shouting for not carrying copies of the doctors prescription! You should have communicated the same while prebooking the appointment!! Besides its your responsibility not the patients.Then made to wait super long despite the pre appointed slot. The lab is small and hence takes time to serve patients.Much better experience at Quadra, they are professional, polite and the tests take much less time.
Worst diagnostic center. My wife is cronic cyst patient. She has done usg two days and found their is no cyst . My doctor is not convinced and ask for repeat test. Again test doing in same laboratory and found two large cyst is in ovary. Now they are speechless
I recently visit ashok lab for my fathers blood test, they guide me well and i satisfied. Most of the parameter is NABL. receptionist are well mannered and co operative. thank you ashok lab for serving us.
Very rude behavior of receptionist basically one lady fair complection she is not trained at all and another services are good.. Unhygienic place smell of toilet is very irritating. Air conditioner is not working. And charges are high.

This laboratory is very conveniently located near the cross road of Gariahat Road South and Anwar Shah Road opposite Jadavpur PS. They provide services of all types of blood tests, USG, X-ray etc. They also have home collection arrangements. The front office is well decorated and Air conditioned. There are plenty of seating arrangements in the office also. They have a ramp for wheelchair access but no specific space for car parking. The quality of test reports are good as per the physicians though there are many adverse coments from the users.
Very bad experience.. reception staffs are too bad at their attitude, management and communication and also inhumane. I booked an appointment over phone and the staff didnt entry that and harrasment began. I have to stay in fast for afternoon.
