Kalighat fire station is situated at the crossing of Hazra road and Harish Mukherjee road approximately opposite of newly opened HDFC Hazra Road branch. It has two engines there for service and this fire station is also located in a very prime location which able to serve in a critical situation. This fire station is well maintained also. Its a very crowded place because it is 500 meters away from Jatin Das park metro station and Kalighat temple is situated approximately 600 meters south-west direction from this place. Various mode of transport like bus taxi auto are available from here which can help people to reach various important places of the city. Beside the fire station many shops are there which fulfill the needs of the people at a affordable price.

Its just walking distance from my home. Never seen any emergency infront of my eyes. But seen it always active and ready for emergency situations
