Went there because i made double payment of professional taX, They did not set off that with the next year and started making false excuses and took Rs 200 as bribe and then also did not do my work.

After covid 19 pandemic situation, its became very strict place with good security services..

The Directorate of Commercial Taxes, West Bengal is headed by the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes. Below the Commissioner, there are two Special Commissioners. There are Additional Commissioners, Sr. Joint Commissioners, Joint Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Commercial Tax Officers and Assistant Commercial Tax Officers to assist the Commissioner..State of West Bengal is divided into 16 Circles. A Circle is headed a Sr. Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes. He is supported by other Sr. Joint Commissioners and Joint Commissioners. They exercise administrative, appellate and revisional jurisdiction over the Charges under the Circles.

It is the head office of Commercial Taxes. The complex is huge and accommodates many facilities. It has a canteen, library, conference hall, elevators, fire safety, and many more. It was recently upgraded and has been a hub of activity ever since it was built.

Fabulous building with government like work culture as it happens in every other government office. Too rude are some, too good are few and many are none for nothing officers.

I have visited first time to this office. I met with some lovely person ( AJC, JC etc ) with pleasant qualities. They are very helpful if your problem are geneuin.

2 huge buildings are there. Its look good from outside of the building.. but its old From inside..

The building structure is decent but not so sure about that the services provided always please everyone.

The Sales Tax office has upgraded much. Many works can now be done. Online. No need to come here often.
