Located near triangular park, this branch of plaite offers some awesome dishes which surely flavors our tongue! 😋& frankly speaking...the price is quite reasonable considering the amounts of food they serve & how beautifully they garnish. The staffs are very well mannered which obviously adds a ⭐. The dim light dining with a soothing background music surely does add a satisfaction.Were in a mindset to try some not so common food, here we explored....Baby Corn Mushroom Chilli ....as starter ( which is quite awesome)Shanghai Fried RiceBurnt Coriender Fried Rice ( the smokey smell & the rich flavor of coriander is just so mouth watering 😋)Triple Schezwan Rice ( personally my favourite!! Here they serves schezwan rice mixed with schezwan noodles...& its absolutely unique in taste)Thai Chicken& lastly Lemon Cooler ....as beverage. ( the fresh flavor of lemon just draws the perfect conclusion😌)All in all were really content & its obviously recommended for dining out once in a while.

Located just off Triangular park on Purna Das Road, this branch of Plaite has an extended Roll counter and a small 15-20 seater space on the mezzanine floor. Ordered the signature dishes* Fish Orly - Crispy and fresh Kolkata Bhetki served with mustard. Satisfying!* Fish Meuniere - 2 pcs Kolkata Bhetki with a semi crispy coating, again doused with butter and lemon. Good but the Orly was a better dish.* Chicken A-la-Kiev - Loved the dish. Served on a bed of cheese and bathed in Lemon butter sauce, with a side of mashed potatoes and parsley rice, this was rich and decadent. Only gripe was, the butter inside the chicken could have been more because once you cut into the chicken, there ought to be a gush of butter which fills your senses. Unfortunately, that was missing.Must visit again.

The smoky charcoal flavor adds such an beautiful taste as well as an aroma to the dish. The chicken wasnt dry at all. Went here few days back with friends. The place was so good. The outlet is at Gariahat Triangular Park. The ambience was really beautiful. The decorations and the greetings from the staffs are really appreciated. The stairs are being decorated with grass. They also have breakfast menu and the dinner menu. Hi Friends,Recently I have paid a visit to a very compact yet well decored restaurant known as Plait located at Purna Das Road.Plait is a chain of restaurants having many of their outlets throughout Kolkata however this branch has been newly added to their list. They serve all types of cuisine be it Chinese , Bengali or Tandoori and hence it is a very on the go sort of restaurants. You can always pay a visit or order from them at @zomatoin without much plan. Their courteous staff and well managed hospitality made me impressed. Moreover they sanitize using gun sprayer to every customers visiting and a Sanitizer vending machine has been installed at main gate. It has seating arrangements for around 20 people at first floor . The best part of Plait is they serve quality , very tasty dishes at extremely competitive price. Considering the location, this restaurant really pays relief to our pocket and since its quite near to home , I am ordering from here quite often.I am in love with their Mixed Hakka Noodles which I hv gobbled up like anything along with Tandoori chicken and Basanti Polao ..It was a tummy filling lunch..Pocket pinch : 800 for 2

Recently I have visited Plaite, which has launched their new outlet near Triangular Park. This is a small outlet. They have sitting capacity of around 18-20 heads on the 1st floor. The ground floor serves as a quick takeaway. Now coming to the food we ordered:-Whole Chicken Roast: The best part is that they roast the whole chicken in front of you in an amazing way. Must Try.-Chicken Tikka Kebab-Banwasi Aloo Tikka-Kosha Mangsho: This was cooked very well and taste way too delicious.-Basanti Pulao: This was sweet in taste but delicious.-Chinese Wok Noodles: This was made with lot of ingridents and taste very delicious. Bengali cuisine is one of the cuisines where youll find a lot of spices and herbs along with rich protein.Somewhere I read that the origin of this cuisine was in the eastern part of India (mostly in Bangladesh).So, this is very obvious why it is our all time favourite cuisine. Not just that we have grown up eating this cuisine, but also we have seen our ancestors spending hours preparing this cuisine.This is why, during any festival we want to give a rest to our home kitchen and home chefs obviously and take them to feed them out.Though the middle class mind-set used to tell us why I should pay to eat the same food that I eat generally at my home.Like I said, we used to think like this. Now, the scene has completely changed. Now we do want to pay for any kind of good food, despite any cuisine.Plaite is one of them, where I would definitely like to spend. They have opened their new outlet in Purnadas Road (just beside where Sudipar Rannaghor used to be).So, do give them a visit and grab your favourite thali. Not just the mutton, chicken or fish, the side dishes were equally good. Plaite brings you bengali Bhuribhoj.The thali starts with luchi and begun bhaja goes to mourala macher peyaji and salad with posto alu bhaja. Next in the list comes moong dal with steamed rice, chingri macher bati chorchori, Thakur barir kosha mangsho.The desserts included aamer chatni, papod, madhu diya malpua, gokul pitha.All of this for 599/- plus taxes.

Plaite, located in Purna Das Road, has come up with Bangalir Bhuribhoj dishes from 6th to 20th November.We tried their Special Thali which included a plethora of fantastic items. We begin with the Luchi with Begun Bhaja. Followed by Mourola mach er piyaji, salad, rice, moong daal, posto-alu bhaja, chingri mach er bati chochori. The Mourola Machh er piyaji is onion and fish fritters prepared with besan as batter. Quite delicious. Mix in with the rice and daal, you will have a fantastic combination.The platter also includes Thakurbarir Pulao, Basanti Bahar Gobi , Thakur barir Kosha Mangsho. The Pulao was surprisingly light on the stomach, and the mutton was soft. The Gobi was a spicy one and the touch of poppy seed paste is a good one.In the sweet end, the thali has Amrar Chutney, Papad, Modhu diye Malpoa, and Gokul Pithe. The Golul pithe was pretty good with the khoa kheer inside. But I personally loved the chutney.Besides this platter, Plaite has many other dishes on the menu, like the Bahukuchi Ranir Chop. The quantity is pretty good, and one recommendation is the Gondhoraj Ghol.

Firstly, talking of a place, its a relatively small area providing a seating arrangement for 10-15 people. The quality of food is very good. It is better to increase the number of employees, it is better to increase the space a little.

Now the food quality is deteriorated. Ambience is also not so cosy.

Very courteous staff. The first floor seating arrangement is quite nice. Alas, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The achari alu dum had heaps of salt. Of course they charged it when we told them it was inedible. The aloo paratha was burnt & by then we had lost the desire to eat or the wish to tell them. 10th July, 2021.

Their price rates is specially taken care of so that a person with low budget can also afford good food.They have also launched a great way of serving to the customers who are in real hurry. Yes, they have launched a drive in facility. Which is a great concept by this restaurant. Basically drive in facility means people who will come by car, can place the order directly sitting inside the car and the service man will provide you the food in the car within a very less span of time.Also, this restaurant is open till 1:30 in the morning. So, suddenly if you want to have something lately you can always visit to this outlet and meet your hunger pangs over here.Now coming to the foods we had tried.🔸 chicken Reshmi kebab🔹 chicken hariyali kebab🔸lassi🔹milk shake🔸 noodles🔹rice🔸 Chicken tengdiOf these I personally liked their chicken hariyali kebab and chicken Reshmi kebab. One of best fish kabiraji makers they are I must mention that first... This place is located at Gariahat,traingular park.... In 600 .. loved the place... You can get here continental, tribal Chinese, etc... But dont forget to try fish kabiraji, just awesome... And the other attractions is vetki macher patisapta, vetki macher kabiraji... And do try bamboo chicken their on of the best too.... Do visit there... Taste the food... And I attached some of photos do check them.....

Yesterday, we visited this outlet for some delectable pre-weekend lunch and I loved the Basanti Polao and kosha mangsho the most.The Kosha Mangsho consisted of juicy mutton pieces, well blended with spices and it went perfectly with the Basanti Polao. The whole roasted chicken was also good.Also, this restaurant is following all the safety precautions and sanitization measures to provide you with a delicious meal, safely.

The restaurant has maintained all hygiene measure and sanitization protocols.Coming to the food, they are currently serving an special menu featuring our favourite bengali delicacies.One of the major attraction of the menu is the mahabhoj thali which comprises of two pieces of, mourala macher peyaji, salad, posto alu bhaja , moong dal , bhat , thakur barir polao, basanti bahar gobi , chingri macher bati chochori , thakur barir kosha mansho, amer chatni, papd, madhu diya malpua, gokul pitha. Two pieces of mutton and prawns in each thali.Each item was beautifully prepared and presented in the massive thali. The mourola macher peyaji was a beautiful preparation make with besan coated mourola dish deep fried to golden brown colour. It pairs well with Bengalis essential daal-bhat. I also enjoyed the thakur barir polau paired with the delectable kosha mangsho. The mutton was extremely flavourful and rich. For the desserts my favourite was the gokul pithe. A traditional bengali pithe, which is basically khoya stuffed fried dumpling soaked in cardamom flavoured sugar syrup. The pithe was soft and the sweetness was perfectly balanced.From the al la carte menu we tried the bohukuchi ranir chop. One of the most unique dishes that I tried, this is basically made of finely diced veggies wrapped inside bread crumbs and deep fried. You get to enjoy a lot of flavours with every bite of it.Be it mutton with luchi or simply plain rice with prawns, enjoy your lavish lunch from Plaite.

The decor is kept simple, maintaining all hygiene measure, temperature checks , sanitisation.What to try ?They are presently serving a new menu named as bangalir bhuribhoj which has a main attraction of a grand Mahabhoj Thali which comes at the price of 599+ GST.This thali gives you a complete idea about everything that is being served in the menu separately as ala cart.It consists of two pieces of luchi, begun bhaja, mourala macher peyaji, salad, posto alu bhaja , moong dal , bhat , thakur barir polao, basanti bahar gobi , chingri macher bati chochori , thakur barir kosha mansho, amer chatni, papd, madhu diya malpua, gokul pitha. You get two pieces of mutton and prawns with each thali.Among all these , basanti bahar gobi , mutton kasa were stand out according to me. The mutton wasn’t much spicy , the gravy was mild and the meat very tender which just melts in your mouth.Apart from the thali i must add that one veg dish impressed me the most that is bohukuchi ranir chop. It consists of many vegetables which are finely diced and mixed with potato finally wrapped inside bread crumbs and deep fried. Tried their egg Hakka noodles which is 221 rupees according to the price there wasnt enough veggies on the noodles. The taste was just like any local fast food centre which will cost you 60 to 80 rupees. In this price you can easily get mix noodles.
