This place is AMAZING!!! Hands-down the best fabric retailer of the city. The collection and range of fabric is humongous - from simple lining material, to various types of cotton, silk, georgette, brocade, chiffon and what-not... you name it, they have it. Readymade dupatta and leggings are also available. The price is reasonable and depending on the type of material, it can range to expensive too. The store almost always stays crowded, so one might need to wait for staff assistance and shouldnt hurry around. The staff are very professional, they will do the matching depending on the fabric and colour you are looking for, and if you ask, might also advise on how much fabric you will need for making a particular outfit. Do not hesitate to look further into their collection for the right colour match / combination by yourself too or asking any questions regarding the material of the fabrics. There is also their spread of cut pieces of their fabrics right outside their door, from which you can also choose and purchase. Payment can be made via cash, card or UPI, and they charge the corresponding GST on the fabrics. The store is two-storeyed, well-lit and air-conditioned. Shoes and large bags have to kept outside at their counter, and all your personal fabrics/clothings for matching purposes are to be carried in in their given bags. Toilet facilities can be availed by taking the key from their guard. Parking facilities are available outside by the adjoining street.

Experience is very bad.. I hv visited and shopped from handloom cottage many times. But this time when I visited there the sales boy behavior was very bad, he was soo arrogant. When I told him to show me 1material , he told me, dont take that material out it is expensive so bad how can he assume that i wont be able to buy that cloth.

The collection of materials is commendable. One stop destination.Good staffs too!

Very nice place for ladies wear with parking facilities and please keep your bills safely otherwise no return aur exchange policy is their. Around the shop you can eat snacks as their is famous lassi shop Pandey Brothers and drink one time their and know the taste.

While this store has a good stock of dress materials, the behaviour of some staff is appalling. After we spent about an hour and chose the materials, we were refused one particular cloth material as it would leave about a meter of cloth if they would sell us the quantity of the cloth we needed. They were ready to sell if we would buy the whole lot. When we pointed out that we should have been told of this in the beginning, they were really rude. I will think twice before coming here. UNPROFESSIONAL. RUDE. CHEATING

I love this place as you get so many types of material. Really awesome. Staffs are very helpful when you cant decide the dress materials and the quantity.

Last year I went along with my foreign visitors but the staff behaviour was very rude.... They dnt no how to behave and also dnt no how to talk.We should never forget our culture.Fabric collection were very nice, but staff selection is very poor.Lets see this year what are the changes in MS Handlooms staff behaviour.

Handloom cottage just underwent a huge renovation and now it looks like a proper showroom.Previously it used to look like a godown and there was hardly any place to stand or sit.There are proper racks now for different items,there are attendees everywhere. The day I went here ,I was lucky to find very less crowd and extremely unlucky that the billing server was down.The billing section was managed by people who had limited computer knowledge. Took them half an hour to solve the billing issue.There are no escalators to the first floor and itll take people with arthritis a lot of effort to shop if they are looking for silk sari items and more as major items are on 1st floor only.The shop allows you to deposit your shoes and belongings outside before you enter.
