In the winter of every year a festival named as Rasher Mela is being organised. This festival continues for 1 month. Huge number of people gather here each and every day of the festival. Many people comes from differnt places all arround the Bengal.Madhyamgram City is a neighborhood in Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal. Administratively it is in Barasat Sadar subdivision of North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal, India. It is a part of Kolkata Urban Agglomeration.Rash Mela in West Bengal is a festival celebrating the divine love of Sri Krishna and Radha. The month long festival precedes the Rash Yatra. Celebrated on the full moon day in Kartik month, the Rash Yatra is a procession with clay deities of Lord Krishna and Radha. The parade demonstrate the life of Lord Krishna, his various miracles and deeds. The Rash Mela is an annual fair that is very famous in the Nabadwip, Cooch Behar and Sundarbans. Come the full moon night of Kartik and people are seen enchanted in the love of Radha and Krishna.Madhyamgram Station Field 1 is located just Beside the Madhyamgram railway station. The Field 1 & the Rasher Mela can be seen from the Madhyamgram railway station ticket counter.
