Very nice atmosphere, very much helpful and caring behaviour of the staffs, beautiful decorations inside the hall, well seating arrangements, really loved this auditorium.

Its very near to bonghoogly more, and also staff are also very good. Many functions are organised here and fully air conditioning and good ambience.

Air conditioned community hall owned and maintained by Baranagar Mynicipality within its premises. A big hall with good sound system and sitting arrangement. The stage and back stages are spacious. The toilets need to be cleaned. One can also take snacks inside the hall but try to keep it clean.

Recently annual drama week end on 5/2/19. Last days drama was Panchajannao by Nandikar. It was good drama.

A very good example how such places should be maintained .The place has a reasonably good capacity with centralized air conditioner.It hosts very good programs related to Rabindranath Tagore and also various dramas and songs.It has good garden and fountains.

Very Cost effective and pleasant place to conduct a soiree, meeting and other programmes. The normal charge is ₹7000 and time is 4pm to 9pm. You will get 5 microphones and basic lighting for free with the booking charge.

Properly maintained by Baranagar Municipality. But they should think about modernization like bucket seats, new audio system and proper lighting.

Its an auditorium run by local municipality.. Several cultural programs organized here by local schools, colleges and different organizations.. But as it looks very good from outside, its not up to mark inside with old type chair sitting arrangement and also the sound and acoustic is not good...expect more up gradation..

Stage and hall is good. Need to change the chairs. And please maintain the cleaning of washroom.

After the renovation it has got a new look. The name clearly suggest that its a tribute to the Bard of Bengal and the Rabindra factor is clearly reflected in each and every walls of the hall. Capacity is moderate seats are moderately comfortable and I like the sound. The stage has got quite a large space and overall its always a soothing and beautiful experience whenever you visit the centralised Air conditioned hall.

Good environment

The overall system is very nice. From the audiences point of view and also from the performers point of view the hall is very much appropriate.

It is a decent hall. It is two stored hall with a maximum sitting limit of 300 to 350. the stage is not so vast but convenient for orchestra musicians for drama. As the hall is not in full potential of sound capturing or reverbing. It is under the maintenance of municipality of baranagar. Anybody who wants conduct anything in this hall should get permission from municipality.

Beautifully designed hall and audience has good seating. Short stage but enough for arranging annual programmes. Loved the sound quality and performing on stage.

Beautiful place,well maintained concert hall along with air conditioning theyve got a very good dj deck, fountain was very nice,it produces nice light and water effects, the washroom is well maintained and hygenic, the area is surrounded by trees and decorated with beautiful sculpture statues and murals. Its all together a nice concert hall of northern down town of Kolkata.
