Theres no sport like cricket and no stadium like Eden Gardens. i am an avid cricket fanatic and feature watched stay cricket matches across multiple stadiums in India and abroad. however a number of my quality recollections of looking stay cricket are certainly from this stadium. The environment in the stands and buzz within the floor is really out of this international. The hallowed turf is fantastically maintained too. Being right here, mainly to watch India play, is an experience you could by no means overlook.

It is one of the best cricket stadium in the world. lots of international and domestic cricket matches have been played here. Every year IPL match and some international cricket match I have enjoyed here. Over 66000 seats are available here now but previously it was more than that. Most exciting match here is see a day and night match. the wind come from The Ganges will play with the ball and makes the match more interesting. one cricket lover should go at least once there to enjoy a match otherwise it will create a huge gap in their cricket experience. But the food stall are heavy priced.

This is the place where Sourav Ganguly have grown up playing. It has provided some of the best test matches in Indian cricket history. I can go on and on talking about this stadium. AWESOME🌠 !! Amazing cricket experience . However The beverages and snacks were over charged. Home ground of KKR . Some issues faced during the entry to stadium 🏟 due to crowd which has to be managed in a better way . Overall the stadium 🏟 is maintained well.

The outside view of this stadium is very beautiful there the attached the pictures of Dada and Kapil Dev but unfortunately, I dont get the opportunity to enter in this stadium.Once a time go buy IPL tickets but officially all tickets are sold out but its very bad that some people are retail those tickets in black in front of the field the polices are overseas those things but they dont take any action.

It was a wonderful experience for me get an entry to the prestigious cricket stadium where legends played and won hearts.I visited on a holiday and there was no entry for public. Its one of the BCA board member who helped me to get inside and he also took my photographs.

Plants trees and different types of flowers.Families come for picnics during winter .Flower shows are also held here.There is a Chinese temple inside too.

Its is the mecca of Asia . It is one of the biggest, oldest & famous stadium. It has hosted many international national & league cricket matches. Previously seating capacity was much higher, but now it has been reduced. Some parts of the stadium has been modernized. Rain water doesnt stop the match for long due to the stadium up gradation. It is the biggest stadium in India & full of cricket crazy fans of West Bengal.

Awesome experience , I just love the crowd, the environment. During IPL , its a good place to hang out. And get the flavor of the match. But remember one thing inside the ground order food only from the stall. Never buy anything from the hawkers.

Nice Views from the Gallery/Block(s). Good Place. They maintain the field and the pitch in a very dedicated manner. Seats are not always clean. Toilet(s) smells bad. Backside of blocks are not neat and clean. Security is okay. More improvement should be there.

An awesome place, its a historical place. Now these days it is a cricket ground, but previously cricket and football both games was organized here. After some unfortunate incident, it is selected only for cricket. Also This place is famous for Cricket Association of Bengals head office. Many of international star cricketers like Pankaj Dutta, Sourav Ganguly, Wridhhiman Saha , Jhulan Goswami started their early days in this ground. This ground also hosted cricket world Cup final 86,semi final 96 etc big matches. Many international cricketers performed here. Previously it was largest cricket ground of Asia continent. The stadium is larger, better. There is usefull security and safety place...There were stall for Snacks, foods, pizza etc. was much n most costly. 2 pieces Samosa was Rs. 40. Two pieces Chicken patties wasRs. 120. The washroom was clean.

Very good stadium to watch matches only if you got good seats..some blocks like (D,E,F,G,H) have some of worst seats from where you cant even see scoreboard or half of the ground due to pillars so try to book seat no 1to1000 of any row to get a good view of the match..But I suggest everyone to purchase seats of upper tier because of its low price and clear view regardless of any seat number✌️..Below are some pics of H1 block👇

One of the most iconic cricket grounds in the world. It missed out on action for few years due to unruly behaviour of public however it has regained its lost glory. The crowd here is very emotional and crazy and follow the game closely. Post renovation the capacity has reduced however it is still one of the biggest grounds in terms of crowd capacity

EdenGardens#PinkBallTestMatch#FoodiesRetreatWent to see the First ever Pink Ball cricket match.Here are the following things to note regarding food which may be helpful to you:-1) Price of water pouch is RS 5 but some stalls are charging Rs 20 for 3 pouch.2) Veg Patties Rs 40, Chicken Patties RS 50, Chicken Hot Dog Roll RS 50, Chicken Burger RS 50.Only chicken hot dog roll is good rest pls dont try.3) Dont eat the chowmien RS 40 or Chowmien Chilli Chiken RS 80 price hiked 2-3 times and quality extremely bad and quantity is very very less.4) Ghugni & 2 piece bread very bad & price Rs 30 still better than chowmien.5) Lastly chicken Roll RS 50 , egg Roll RS 40 are cooked earlier and looked extremely bad and would request you not to try.6) Chips RS 10 price is hiked to Rs 20 still better and also britania cakes & biscuits prices are hiked 2 times still better in quality and compare to the fast foods.7) To me the best was Rollick Ice cream Stall both good in terms of quantity & quality & price.8) Outside food not allowed as well as olatic water bottles.9) Tea/ Coffee RS 2510) Pizza hut items prices are hiked though quality good.11) Papri Chaat RS 50 prepared earlier & Bhelpuri RS 40. Price hiked 3 times but better than roll & chowmien.

What can I say about it. It is Mecca of Cricket. A gem of Kolkata. home of KKR. I always love to go there to catch Live matches. For some reasons I also get a chance to enter into away teams dressing room. it was awesome. Unfortunately this year no matches of KKR happened due to Covid 19 Pandemic.

Hub of sweet memories for cricket lovers

At Eden Gardens I was totally amazed! Because I had never seen this huge amount of people at once in my entire life. It was a great experience. Ive been there for Punjab and Kolkata , IPL match. More than match the stadium fascinated me a lot. The stadium was bustling with approx 1.5 lac people and all were shouting KKR. This was goosebumpy.

Best ground in India. And one of the best grounds in the world. Soo nice and beautiful. Soo big. It is the pride of India, pride of Kolkata. One if the biggest ground in the world in perspective of seat capacity. Beautiful location, on the bank of the holly river the Ganga. This ground is also a witness of many history, glory and golden miments in the history of cricket.
