Oh old days!! My childhood and those golden days!! This is the place where I have spent the major part of my life. But in recent times, the internal and outside infrastructure of the school is getting worse and no sign of recovery!! The world has moved on, updated itself and the school authorities are yet living in the past and with poor condition. Its time to make some improvements.

My daughter is a present student of this school. And hereby the following review is given by her........All the teachers are like my mother. When our parents leave us at the gate we feel as if we are entering an amusement park.. where education is equally important. Every other activity are enjoyed by us. No one should ever have a problem staying in here for extra hours cuz its the best one on earth . Apart from these, moral values are given a lot of importance. Loreto has always fulfilled the quote Women in time to come will do much.

Loreto Bowbazar was established in 1844 on the 8th of December. It was known as St. Francis Xavier Convent. It was originally a small private school owned by Mr. & Mrs. Cooper. There were boarders from the middle income group, who paid their fees. A Free school was also running parallel to the paid school. There were both boys and girls.

One of d best missionary school i India

My daughters did not have a good experience here .When I admitted my daughter the school back then was very good.The present condition of the school is disastrous.There was always a pressure for attendence and the teachers there are very manipulative. The school deducted 50 minutes from my daughters final exam(when she was in 9) just because she had poor attendence. I will not admit my daughter here in class 11 for the above mentioned reasons. The school always stresses upon co carricular activites and the students and their respective parents have a tendency to gossip about other students. I dont think anybody of good repute should get admitted here.
