One of the best departments in India and a premier quality of academic research done in the field of International Relations. The particular department offers plethora of courses ranging from Bachelors degree in Political Science, Post Graduation in International Relations along with special P.G Diploma course on Human Rights, MPhil and PhD in the discipline. This department is reckoned to be the best in entire Eastern India and the oldest department to be established in India to initiate studies and research work in the domain of IR. Also, this department consists of School of International Relations and Strategic Studie, an institute of immense significance in analytical thinking over Foreign Policies and Defence Strategies in the realm of IR.
