Recently got my baby girl delivered under Dr. Santanu Ray as paeditrician. Probably, one of the finest doctors I have ever come across. Patient, competent and always lending a helpful ear to new as well as old parents. Even in odd times, he is equally responsive. During visit to his clinic, it is always a satisfying and comforting conversation, brilliant medical suggestions and I firmly believe that every single one of his patient parties will agree with me on this

I went there for my babys routine check up and came back home regretting why i went there. He does not even check his patients properly. He is a money making machine who have zero empathy for his patients. I do respect doctors very much but he is a shame for his own community.

He came as god in our life. My son was suffering from constant fever. At first he tested him for liver disease and found abscess there. After drain operation when fever was again constant he suddenly asked for whole abdomen CT SCAN, and then we found my sons appendix was bursted few weeks ago. Then he treated instantly for that and my son now returned to normal life.

He seems to me more of a compounder/nurse than a doctor. Couple of times I visited him for vaccinations of my 4 yr old son ... He did not ask any questions or allow me to ask questions .... Always busy with his phone ... Applied the injection, took the money and thats all.

Very greedy Doctor. Always concern about money, never concerned about the well being of the child. Always charge high but never diagnose the child at all. Had very bad experience with him. Also he don’t know how to treat. He treated my son for 2 months and made his condition worse, at last, Dr. Apurba Ghosh treated him in 1 week. Never consult this doctor if you want well being of your child.

I wrote in Bangla, so I stayed in Bengal. Dr. Shantanu Roy is not only a good doctor, but also a good friend. My baby had to be kept in the hospitals NICU for 12 days. It is possible for a doctor like him to treat him and put him in our lap. Humans can be just some of the faults, so the parents of the baby should be careful. A physician is a human being, not God. And that is not to say that it is the hand of Dr. Rays injection. To this day, my daughter never cried. Even though I was a little kid, my daughter felt like it worked, only when she saw Shantanu Uncle and healed. So we are grateful to Shantanu Roy. He hopes that he will treat children better. Thanks. Purnendu Mandal. Calcutta.
