I did my Hair Transplant under Dr.Maneesh Sonthalia in Dec 2020, by now the results are out and I am quite pleased with it.The process started with 1 information session where the doc explained the nitty gritties of the procedure, FUT vs FUE, and even let us interact with his past patients which is the best part. (What you see is what you believe!)The process takes around 7 to 8hrs and is mostly hassle-free.The post operative process is lengthy and requires dedication from both patient and doc. I had to be extra carefull for the 1st 15days to ensure no physical damage on my head. Then there is taking meds diligently. Dr. Sonthalia contacted me over watsapp everyday 2 times to guide me.In the 1st 3months I had to visit him on average twice a week if not more. All these post operative visits are free btw.If we listen to him and well with a bit of luck (read as genetics) the results will be positive.Lastly, there are 2 concerns I will highlight. Firstly its an expensive procedure so one must be very sure that they need cosmetic surgery. If you are at an early stage of hair fall there are alternatives that can be explored (This wasnt an option for me). Secondly, make sure you have a job/lifestyle that permits you to be at home atleast for the 1st 2 weeks if not the entire 1st month. Your head will definitely raise questions so its best if you can stay indoors.

Fraud. Do not go. Initially he would give a cheaper deal. He knows how to talk, impress and pretend like genuine. But he will only give you 50% to 60% of the hair he is charging. The people working for HT are always complaining that they are underpaid. During the operation whenever they were discussing about the hair numbers in particular places they were whispering. It was fishy but after the operation when I saw my hair I was confirmed that the doctor gave considerable less number of hair than what was agreed. He left a permanent scar at my forehead, I dont know why he was injecting throughout my forehead on top of my eyes. My hair has become funny with bald spot here and there. He needs to learn about transplantation and hire a medical team instead of training some cheap labours. Save yourself.

I think Dr. Maneesh Sonthalia is undoubtedly one of the best hair transplant specialist in the country. As a patient, one will get the expected output which doctor babu promised during day 1 counselling. Every members of the clinic including doctor babu are so much caring from the day 1..
