We are extremely happy and satisfied that our 5 years old daughter is in safe hands and care of Dr. Mittal. He is the best pediatric we have come across in Kolkata.We consulted Dr. Mittal last year in Aug as my daughter was complaining of intermittent abdominal pain for prior 3 months. We consulted couple of doctors before who advised to take constipation related softener forever, but that didn’t address the root cause. Dr. Mittal diagnosed this in the very first visit, and now she is out of pain even after the medicine is discontinued for months.Her growth was also not good after 2 years of age, and we asked about the same to multiple pediatrics in US and in India. Nobody bothered much. But in the same first visit itself, Dr. Mittal proactively pointed out the lack of growth and suggested few tests. It turned out to be thyroid which was halting his growth. Dr. Mittal started the treatment immediately, which helped her to get back on growth track. We are lucky!We are indebted to Dr. Mittal for taking care of our daughter so effortlessly! He is a very capable, dynamic, efficient and easily approachable doctor. We have never thought about visiting any other pediatric after our first visit to Dr. Mittal.We wish all the very best to the parents with their little precious ones.

Its a rare combination to find a medical practitioner with both prolific expertise and kindness and I am very fortunate to have found Dr Mittal as my childs pediatrician. He adores children and that acts as a key differentior in his treatment attitude as well. Right from the time when he saw him in the OT till date , he has been my go-to Doc for literally all problems related to my sons health for the past 7yrs. You can trust him with eyes closed and if lucky might also find a friend in him!

Dr.Mittal is one among the best pediatrician in kolkata. My daughter is 3yrs old whenever she get vaccinated by Dr.Mittal not once she cried. Yes strange but true I must say he has god gifted hands.Only pediatrics I found that is available on phone ,whatsapp and personally reverts back to you ..rare in kolkata. Last year my daughter was vomiting and within two days she was serious ,Pediatrician I refered to told me to get admitted in AMRI that to in this covid-19 situation .Dr.Mittal was the person told me not worry at all ,dont even come for check up .Be safe at home prescribed some medicines ,suggested how to keep her hydrated and my daughter was fine within a day.This was only through online consultation So I blindly believe on him he is an expertise for kids.This was one example from my side .I am very much relaxed that my daughter is in safe hands.

When my daughter was just 19 days I visited Dr. Ashok Mittal Sir at Medica OPD for the first time. On that day Sir guided me about the bathing procedure of baby and very important tips of baby care which was very much helpful for me . His guidance and lessons about newborn care is excellent . Sir is very friendly and caring and listens all the problems whatever the range with intense patient.I will share another experience which I should do. On the first wave of Pandemic my one and half yr old daughter along with me got infected with Covid . Sir treated her very caringly through video consultation and during that phase Sir continuously told me , Dont panic , everything will be fine, we are here. In today’s world some physician has become so greedy that for the sake of some money they have forgotten their duty and misusing their professional abilities by cheating their patients. In collaboration with hospital they focus on making money and do not care the illness, condition of their patients. They neither share the actual condition of the patient nor concerned about their health, their focus area is only making money and when such patients become more critical due to their carelessness and greediness, they say they are helpless. Money’s shine has made them so irresponsible that they are degrading this noble profession. They should not forget that nature will never forgive their inhuman act and misdeed.

Dr Mittal - in my knowledge and experience - is one of the finest and clinically strong child specialist in the country and definitely Kolkata. I have referred many friends and family to him for treatment; and he always proved me right. I wish our country had more doctors like him who are trying very hard (and are successful also) to re-establish doctor-patient relationship in India.

I have a very good experience with Dr Mittal. Since birth of my child last 7years he is the only one I consult with for any problem. He is extremely supportive. Though now I dont stay in Kolkata but still my sons doctor I trust on is Dr Mittal.

I googled for Dr. Mittal and it says Best Pediatrician in Kolkata. I dont doubt his credibility, but my experience was otherwise. I consulted Dr. Mittal in his clinic in Motherhood fertility in 8th floor acropolis Mall where appointment are made by Ms Mayuri. Consultation fee is Rs. 700/- but please note there are extra charges for services like giving a diet chart etc which I learnt in a hard way. I ended paying 900 rupees extra for Oral polo vaccine and diet chart in addition to the payment of consultation fees only to avoid any embarrassment. She didnt even bother to inform the cost involved before taking the appointment. She made it look like a very critical process which takes long time (which is not) and I feel cheated. If you are planning to consult make sure to ask about extra cost. Dont take any thing for granted.

I must share this in public, from my sons birth to till today hes the only doctor we went and trusted. When my son was 2 years old that time he build up urinal infection it was bad like anything .he admitted to the ICU, just because of Dr.Ashok Mittal hes safe today .Thanks a lot .
