Of the myriad fast-food joints dotting the Lords crossing, Samrat stands out for its quality, hygiene, taste, service, and prices. Be it their various yummy rolls or mughlai parathas, their fish rolls or fish fingers, their chicken cutlets or vegetable chops, they literally stand out easily over their neighbourly competition. They even serve biriyani, fried rice, and chow, which are however nothing very special, but good quality. Never give them a miss if youre passing by. They are situated in a sliver of a shop right next to New Kalpana Mistanna Bhandar, at the Lords crossing (Lake Gardens, Golf Green).Given an order in advance, they can also cater for small groups and get-togethers. Quite a few companies and colleges nearby are their regular customers for casual occasions at their places. One thing I must mention: unlike several of their neighbourly competitors, they NEVER cut corners with their quality, taste, or hygiene. Youll never need a pill after imbibing their fare.
