Visited him for my father’s neurological issue. He didn’t listen to the issues properly and without listening prescribed an anti depression medicine along with tests which cost around 15000. Money was his only focus so took my father to another doctor the very next day. So think twice before visiting him.

Worst experience!! My father went to him to consult on a brain+foot nerves issue.. He blatantly refused to hear the issue and straight away prescribed tests worth Rs 30000 even without hearing patient conditions..sheer unprofessionalism.. All he wants is to snatch money from patients.. Just avoid..

His behaviour was good but it feels like his focus is to generate more revenue for hospital. Did not listen to problems that much but referred to another department. So he has to refund the money as he didnt want to check the patient. But he handover the patient to another department and asked the patient to visit after six months..Now think 1200(His 1st charge)+1200(Another department charge)+1200(His 2nd visit charge)= 3600(Total charge)..Not everyone is Lambo owner so you need to behave yourself.. people are working hard just to earn a single penny.

Excellent doctor. Extremely approachable. Always visited when the family was around to give details of treatment. Did not hold back the patient for more than required. In fact we were quite surprised when he released my husband so quickly. Earlier experience in a different department was bad.

It was a horrifying experience. First appointment day he didnt turn up on time so we cancelled. Second appointment day he hardly saw my mother with Parkinsons, did not even understand the problems and assigned tests worth over Rs 25000 to be done from his dedicated clinic. If this is the way private hospitals and doctors fleece money from citizens then its a shame. Medicine has become a business and not treatment. Big no no to this doctor. Hope @Apollo takes note.

Worst neurologist, prescribed me flunarizine 10 mg for migraine. Flunarizine caused me severe depression, how can he be so foolish,pls dont visit him,he will make u mad,i think i could give him minus stars

Totally money oriented approach. Sent my mother in law for a second opinion. Instead of giving a direct response on the success chance of surgery, response was like Science is much advanced today, dont worry. 1300 Rs for a visit (including 300 Rs registration). My mother-in-law forgot to ask the approximate operation cost. She called up, the hospital response was, register again and take another appointment. Absolutely absurd doctor and hospital both.

The first thing is he has humanity and kindness for his client. A BIG RESPECT for him and I my self very much thankful.

He carefully checked up and gave a helpful consultancy and guidance..fees Rs.1200/-. Also prescribed reasonable medicines..Once again a big thanks to him for his humanities, helpful and respectable personalities...

Dr Amitabha Ghosh is in effect the Director of Employment for Neurosurgeons, orthopaedic & etc. He has only one target..to generate revenue for Apollo Hospitals and hence to retain his job.Knowledge wise: ZERO

My father is suffering from Parkinsons used to have hallucinations...after treatment he got better and better... My father got a second life after all those hallucinations and hand shivverin issues...

Totally money oriented approach. Better to consult other doctors.

Bells palsy happened to my mother in law, he did the treatment and cured her.
