Visited Gaj Kumars on Lenin Sarani, the one near Regal Hotel today based on recommendation to buy a jacket.Very reluctant staff to attend to customer. Bad customer services experience. They expect that you choose between 5 - 6 items they show you and purchase it.Though I made my choice X within 10 minutes, after going through 7 or 8 jackets, but the product was a little defective. So I asked if theres another piece of the same item X. First he said No, we just get different sizes of the same item. Then he went on showing other jackets. I repeated that I already liked X could you get me another piece of it. He kept us waiting for a long time saying that he will check in godown and get back. After a long time I just wandered out of the jacket section only shocked to see that same person roaming aound in the shop!!I asked him, is another piece of X available, he simply said No. I mean, he didnt even bother to update us that its not available, while we were waiting for him in the jacket section.When we were leaving the shop, they said something that translated to All our effort gone in vain, you did not buy anything from us. I mean showing 5-6 jackets is a lot of effort for them!! Really!!If a customer doesnt like their product from limited stock, he should be prepared for their comments.I do not recommend. There are lot of online shops with better options and better customer service.

Went there since it has existed for several years and thought this would be a good place to buy jackets. What we found was ill mannered staffs (One of them particularly in the jackets section). Answers to any questions asked were cocky. Wasnt really eager to show the jackets and give us an idea of the material. Extremely arrogant behavior, which put me and my family off. Didnt want to stay a minute more in the shop. Left as fast as we could. Not visiting again. Wish I could give them 0 stars actually. Also the prices were exorbitant tbh. Theres no guarantee on the goods sold, no hospitality/decency/politeness towards customers. Decathlon is way better option imo.

A little inside Esplanade, this shop is also easy to notice from a car. The people inside have a good and amiable behaviour and theyre also very helpful.

Shop is at good location but the pricing is high. They charge fixed price, and charge the MRP printed on the tag. No discount. Products are also not the worth the price. The only pros is that they have their past goodwill for which they are still running their business and people go to them.

Not many collection of blazers and the staff was not as good as selling products

One of the oldest shop. Modest pricing. Not very high value items. But whatever we purchase worth value. Peoples are courteous. Even at the time of closing the shop they will show lot of items. Still worthy for visit .

Their original shop is on Lenin Sarani. This branch is relatively new. But they have got a huge collection of winter wear with a wide range of prices to suit every budget. However they do not sell any cheap variety. All are quality products. Theres no bargaining. Fixed prices. But one can rely upon them without any doubt. They have genuine goodwill for many decades.

The shop personnels are pretty courteous. You can ask for a glass of water too and they would gladly oblige. Good quality of winter wears are available. Some are quite exclusive.

The shop has a huge range of umbrellas, raincoats and bags. One can get single fold, double fold, three fold and five fold umbrellas. Im a wide range of colours and prints. The man in the counter was interested in showing all the umbrellas by opening them except the five fold one as he said its very difficult to fold it back - o suppose its not difficult but time consuming. They have raincoats for children - transparent, cartoon character prints, solid colours, light n soft, a bit hard one. Raincoats for grown-ups, ladies and gents. Bags - they have back packs and sling bags - a decent stock ( not a huge stock like a shop dedicated to bags generally has). In the other part of the shop they have clothings also. Cant provide much details about that right now.

Good shop for woollen garments but they sold as per printed rate.

If youre going to some very cold places (within India or abroad), you should come to Gajkumar Brothers for buying your garments. They have some excellent thermocots which really helped me during my visit to North Sikkim. I dont remember the brand name right now. The price is around Rs.2k. Its a must if you are visiting cold places. Also there are several other accessories like gloves, mufflers, skull caps and so on along with coats and jackets. Definitely a very nice place to buy hot garments.
