I am visiting this Hospital since 2009. All the Doctors and Staffs are well behaved and helpful. I am highly satisfied with the treatment by this Hospital.

This hospital is run only on the name of one doctor I.e. P. Rupalia, he suggested me for Laser treatment without any problem saying it will create problem in future. I was not willing to have that but on my 2nd visit again they persisted me for that. One Dr. Mondal did the Laser treatment he was very casual during Laser treatment and he was gossiping with a nurse.I had treatment in Feb2021, but now I have problem in my eyes. Dr. Rupalia had suggested me not to give attention to this problem but it still persists. Without any problem they did Laser treatment and now I am facing problem.

Neat and clean ,properly maintained hospital for eye patients. Inside spacious parking available. Doctors are experienced and treatment at throw away prices. Liked the service and diagnostics

BETTER EXPERIENCE AND EXPERIENCED DOCTOR ESPECIALLY DR PANKAJ RUPHALIAFOR CATARACT AND DR. SUBRATA MANDAL FOR RETINA AND RETINAL RELATED PROBLEM

1. They check 50-100 patients/day at least on weekdays and because of this the doctors cant check most of the patients for more than 2 minutes. The optometrists will check first more thoroughly but the doctors will simply shine a light on your eyes and write a prescription, nothing more.2. They make you wait 2-3 hours before you can be checked up by doctors. The stuff are simply rude and irresponsible. The OPD stuff will call your name whenever they want and the eyeglass store stuff wont even call your name when your eyeglass prescription arrives.3. Dr. Pankaj Rupauliha is very popular among the older patients but heres the thing, he doesnt check the younger patients thoroughly. He doesnt have much time for young patients who have symptoms of anything other than glaucoma. The optometrists will check you thoroughly but he simply doesnt care.** I checked with him 3 times. I had loads of symptoms and dry eyes and I wrote them all down when I went there. The optometrist read from my notebook and checked me thoroughly but Pankaj Rupauliha simply dismissed me saying that my eyes are fine. He didnt even care to explain the symptoms. He just prescribed another 6 months of eyedrops for dry eyes as if the process was a boring chore.4. Dr. Manisha Kharbanda is another rude doctor with less time in her hand. I checked up with her on September, 2020. Shes like Pankaj Rupauliha, only without glaucoma speciality.5. When you call a receptionist to ask about feedback/complaints they will talk like they dont care whatever you complain about. My experiences with this clinic are simply bad and next time I will probably go to Susrut.

Location is very good. Doctors are well trained. Staffs are well behaved. There is always present a friendly atmosphere.

The place looks hygienic however the staff is not courteous. The place is well known within Salt lake and clinic does get patient from distances as well. The clinic offers Lasik and other eye surgery as well

My wifes eye had been destroyed By Dr Mrs Rupalulia,wife of Dr P.Rupauliya.She focussed concentrated light on her righteye and the vision deteriorated . OCT indicated severe damage of retina.My wife is almost blind.

Mismanagement. They check many patients in bulk together and no coordination among the staffs. Not a suitable place for children. They tested the eyes for my children and gave wrong eye power and when I fought only then they retested and gave the correct number. So quite a risky place.

The optical store man is a MF* and he will treat you like a beggar. However, ambience and staff of ops are very good. They provides you the eye check up for rupees 150 only with all test. The best hospital to visit for eye check up in kolkata but be aware of that person sitting in optic store.

Worst hospital of the decade my father was about to undergone cataract surgery we went to doctor Pankaj Rupaulia who is one of the best doctor i have ever seen but the nurse over there are pathetic specially the irritating women who sits in the Mediclaim department after they came to know that we have mediclaim they forced us to go for the operation in higher package which we could not afford hence we request to lower the package and choose the best one since then they blackmailing my ailing father stating hospital will not take any risk if we choose lower package my father was morally down and upset, therefore we went to other hospital as my fathers condition was crtical now after operation he is doing fine hence its a request never opt for this pathetic place!!!!!

Visiting fees is reasonable but it is very time consuming and charges extra inside the checkup room. I think extra charges are for personal benefit as per my experience

The receptionist is the worst...they do not talk properly.Even though I had done prior appointment, the receptionist made us waited for 30 mins. There was only 1 receptionist in the hospital. Can you improve the facility?The doctors are very good, but the staffs are the worst behaved and impolite of the lot- the management should spend some money in training them soft skills, or hire better & trained professionals.

Totally disappointed with the services and the staffs. I visited for a medical certificate for a exam. First of all they charged 500 for appointment. Then came up for a separate charge of 600 for obtaining binocular vision test. Please look into. Note previously I visited the same place with an appointment charge of 150 only. Doctor are very coperative

I along with my family consulted ophthalmologists here number of times. We are too pleased with the service. The doctors and support stuffs are very polite and caring. And I am content with the hygiene and cleanliness (which I search for in everywhere). I always suggest others to visit for any opthalmologic problem.

Doctors and paramedics are very good, especially Dr.Subrata Mandal.In that patient rush his professionalism and polite behaviour are mind blowing.

Admissssion process is not properly implemented. It should be first come first basis but they do not follow it. They asked 15 patient to come for OT/discharge at same time. The staff are very slow. They started fighting in front of everyone.In short they need IMPROVEMENT.

Rotary Narayana Netralaya is situated at Salt Lake, sector V, Salt Lake - 700091 ( near Wipro / college More), Kolkata. We ( myself & wife) are attending this hospital since 2009. It is one of the hospital under Narayana Health Group of hospitals. The hospital is neat and clean. But the staff are not providing fresh washed clothes and beds to the operating patients. I have complained to the doctor Dr. Depangshu Basu Choudhury who made cataract operation of my wife on both the eyes at this hospital. The doctor promptly took action, called the supervisor in my presence and instructed to look into the matter personally. Doctor Dipangshu Basu Choudhury is a very good doctor, helpful and soft spoken. But the doctor is no more attached to this hospital. Now my wife is consulting doctor Subrata Mandal, Retina Specialist. He is also very good doctor, well behaved and soft spoken.Previously when the hospital opened it it was an eye hospital only. Afterwards the hospital was upgraded to Multispeciality hospital and offered treatments on different disciplines viz: Cardiology, Diabetology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, radiology, etc. Do not know what happened, why the hospital authority stopped these treatments. Now only eye and dental treatments are going on here . Previously 12 eye specialists were attending this hospital but at present as on 26/03/19,only 6 eye specialists are attending this hospital.In dental department which is functioning beside the pharmacy, only one doctor is attending regularly. For special cases if the dentist feels necessity, calls specialists for treatment of Maxillofacial and Orthodontic..It is to the hospital authority to let us know why instead of improving they are reducing treatment facilities.Both of us myself and wife are are senior citizen and holder of Senior Citizen Card ( Life Time) issued by R N Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata. On 26/ 03/19 by mistake we did not carry our Sr. Citizens cards. According to the rules of this hospital we are eligible to get concessional rates for treatments and on consultation charges. I have produced previous receipts allowing concessional rates by the hospital and all the previous records of our past treatments are visible on the computer record. The receptionist tried to allow us the card benefit but the accounts section of the hospital did not allow, as a result I have to pay full normal charge.

I visited the hospital to consult for my father. The overall experience is good. Staffs are helpful, soft spoken and courteous. The doctor also very pleasent to talk. The only concern is the waiting time. This is really a problem for aged and children.Though this can not be avoided but can be reduced a little. My overall expereince is very good.

Everything is good excepting the timing of Doctors.Seems that patients need to wait for time on end and depend on the Doctors whims and fancies on when they will start to examine.If you have loads of time, you can visit.

The behaviour of the security gaurd at the main entrance no.1 on Dated-12.04.2019 @ 13:30 Hrs was very very bad. He was using slan languages over phone. On objection he was rude to me too. My request to the management is to take a look into such matters. I know the management is unaware of such activities and is quite impossible to look into such matters, but only one poisonous potato will hamper the reputation of a reputed organisation like Urs.

The hospital looks good and there are good amount of patients visiting it daily. However we had a bad experience at the pharmacy of this hospital.The pharmacy of this Eye Hospital does not operate 24*7. We went here around 6 PM IST for some medicines since it was the closest to our office. We were denied the medicine mentioning that we have closed down for the day. I was really shocked at such a service from a hospital pharmacy.

Good eye clinic. Doctors fee is just ₹150. However, due to high demand you may need to wait 2-4 hrs. But as per my personal experience I find it worth. Not very expensive like Shankar Netralaya or any other so called super speciality hospital. Doctors are from South and experienced.

According to me Dr. Pankaj Rupalia is one of the best eye specialist of WB, not only for his skill or knowledge as doctor but the way he talks to a patientest is unbelievable in present days. Its true that at present its took much time but one have to wait for the best...But its also true that the staff is also little intolerant( according to my last visit in 2016) now a days....Hope for the best.....

My mother age 74 having MRN no.3757-86445 eye was operated on 04/12/2017for cataract as per advice of Dr. Manisha Kharbanda with best available package of Rs.34150/-with them but her vision is unsatisfactory and almost lost her vision. In check up Dr. Pankaj Raupalia told her vision may not improve due to nerve problem. But prior to operation the nerve problem or probable problem of vision was not told. If they have told regarding any doubt of vision I could have consulted with other doctor.So the question crops into my mind that either there is a problem od diagnosis or for commercial purpose they have not disclosed the fact.But it is not fair enough to do business as my mother has almost lost her vision.Moreover there is an option of rebate for senior citizen which they have not disclosed. There is a Counseling room to maintain ISO rules whose spelling is also wrong, and no counseling was done prior or after operation.

I have facing forehead sinus due to this reason my eye pressure increase ,I have visit sankar netralaya,disha ,and many more.all those doctor says your eye is perfect and gave medicine but could not solve .lastly I concern s.p Chatterjee in Asansol he says sinus problem after CT and psn scan .he treatment but couldnt solve .lastly he checked my pressure and suggest brimolol drop to use but cant solve my problem .last 2 years I treatment homeopathy sinus treatment but not improve .so pls suggest me to which doctor suitable for me .asp.

My friend has a severe eye infection and we reached the hospital at 9 but the doctors are available only at 10 30 or 11 . The treatment was good but it was delayed due to unavailability of doctors .
