Best place to go to for all your Eye problems. The staff are extremely polite and cordial and work tirelessly to make sure that your problems are prioritised and solved. I have been going there since I was a kid and have always received great treatment and medical assistance from the best doctors. The hospital is also, always very clean, well maintained and in covid times, they are following all the necessary protocols and making sure that sanitation and hygiene is properly maintained. Overall, highly recommended, you wont regret going there!

I had a retina operation twice and it was the grace of God , that it was successful with the help of a group of brilliant doctors and of course Dr. Abhijeet Chatterjee . Alas, zero rating is not available, otherwise i will credit it.i took my mother for cataract ops, the doctor who operated her during operations were not available for consulting on the problem she faced after operation in her eye everytime you need to walk around from one room to another. A bunch of training staff were stuffed here to keep the place full and too much useless formalities.

Poor hospital and disappointing doctor, Dr. Alakesh Ganguly. He is a pediatric opthalmogist, and the first pediatric doctor I have met who cannot bear crying of little children and has to ask his nurse to send child and parents out of the waiting area. He runs an assembly line of patients with under 3 minutes each patient. He diagnosed my 4 yr old child and I asked him a question, to which he uttered an absolutely stupid analogy which made no sense. It just shows his seriousness and dedication towards his profession. If there are more doctors like him out there, then this profession is purely doomed.

WORST hospital in Durgapur. Staff members think they own the place. No hospitality, No humility, Extreme bad behaviour. Save your money and mental peace. Dont ever visit. Even Govt hospitals have better trained staff than them.I went with my grand-mother, I was forced to remove our masks and wear the 3rd class masks which had no guarantee of safety whatsoever (no proper seal, no proper company stamp). I reluctantly let my grandmom wear it because she was the patient, but I continued wearing my N95 mask which was basically NEW. There was a massive wait leading to the doctors check up, and no social distancing of any sort was being followed all the while. Doctor Jonaki maam was very kind and efficient(the only reason I gave that 1 star). And nobody had any problem with my mask (which is scientifically much better than the rubbish they give). While waiting for our pick up vehicle at the end of a tiring 3hrs, a rude, mannerless female from the reception threatened to call security and asked me to leave the hospital premises if i didntchange my mask. I cannot believe how a healthcare firm can be so regressive and idiotically stubborn. They wont spend money on proper masks but expects us to risk our lives overlooking the severity of the Covid situation all over the world, and quite mannerlessly so. They were borderline humiliating which makes me think whether their staff receive any kind of training at all. So disgusted.

Last week I came here for my mothers treatment, and I was very pleased to see the management here. The doctors and nurses here are very humble, and very cooperative. They explain each step of the treatment very nicely to the patient and his family.my best wishes to them.

Worst service , taken 2.5 hours only for eye testing. They dont know the time value of pateint.

It was a pathetic experience .I went at 2.30 pm. And it over 3hrs for an eye check up.The assistant nurses behavior was very bad.The lady doing power checkup of eyes was horrible.She didnt check properly.Now I m having wrong set of glasses in my eyes coz of her mistake. I purchased my glasses few days back with that prescription but now m unable to see clearly through that specs.Doctor was good. But the way to doctor was long and time taking. Overall worst experience

Today I visited this hospital. Everything is good but sequence is not maintaining properly. I asked one of the nurse for my turn as it was near about 2 hrs of waiting, she shows her mood. Only one Dr is there more than 40 min and near about 30 patients seated in this covid time. Management may look into.

Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital@10 Loudon St,near Minto park is the best place for eye treatment in Kolkata. Visiting here for my mothers Glaucoma treatment for the last 3 years( under Dr Alakesh Ganguly,one of the best Doctors in Kolkata for Glaucoma related cases) have seen many people here from other state and neighboring nations too.Cost is lower than other private hospitals(& I can assure you about no hidden cost).The doctors and the support staff of Priyambada birla Arvind eye hospital are extremely capable & dedicated. They take very good care of their patients & are most helpful. The infrastructure is excellent. The hospital is undoubtedly one of the finest in the country.Even the admission fee is only 300/-(no adm cost if you need a 2nd visit within a month) .Two things must improve-- 1) the display boards of the 3 elevators must work properly to end -going up or down?? sort of petty but never ending confusion.........&........2)The system of calling patient is fine but can be made even better by deploying electronic token numbering system instead of manual calling.............

Birla Eye Hospital delivers super service from helpful staff, the best eye surgeons, top of the line equipment, best lenses and with the heightened risk of virus infections they have implemented extensive safety precautions and are constantly cleaning and maintaining the hospital. My mothers surgery and OT care went well. The only complaint I have is of the high parking fees. Highly recommend to anyone considering eye surgery currently.

Good eye hospital. Doctors, nurses and stuff are very good.

I am so disappointed with the kind of carelessness I have witnessed in the hospital. Doctor gave prescription to my father on which two eye drops were mentioned. And guess wot? Both the eye drops were of the same composition....only the brand name was different. This came to our notice when the condition of my fathers eye was not getting better even after using the prescribed drops for a month.I have attached the picture of the two prescribed eye drops. Please dont play games with the patients life. Its not a money making process.

Paid INR1,000 for an consultation at 5pm. Very fast service. Credit cards accepted. Parking available for 2 and 4 wheels available. I think that I will give you a big zero... But there is no option..... Worst experience of mine few days ago... Went there for routine eye check up.... After long queue I was able to do registration...They took total 4 hrs for refraction testing & doctor visit ( Although there was hardly 10 patients)....Pathetic management..... Very rude behaviour of floor manager..... . And after 4 hrs they told me to do Retinal examination.... But Retina examination not possible on same day..... I have to go another day & again I have to pay fees because previous one will be null & void.. ... It is their rule that they are doing various examination in different day and you have to go and pay according to them.... It is a very good policy to earn money from patient party by continuous visit.......Cataract specialist, Glaucoma specialist, Retina specialist sits on different day according to them...... I dont understand how NABH accredited it as exclusive eye hospital.... Went to HR regarding my issue and he asked me that who told me to meet HR(rudely).....This is total scenario of this hospital....

My experience with my 8 year daughter on 3/2/2021 was far short of expectations at the OPD. While the registration and refraction experience was smooth, the experience in the Vision Room (the room between the doctors room and refraction-3 room) was the first jolt of the day. While the lady examining the vision of my daughter grew impatient with her delayed vision responses (an 8 yr old takes time to process comparative vision quality responses naturally), my daughter messed up her responses when she was scolded with a mathaay gatta marbo (I will hit your head with my knuckle) for her delayed feedback. As if this was not enough, there was a huge delay in getting her examined by the doctor with no attendant giving a clue on when her turn would come. We had to return at 3.40 pm after a 3 hour wait without having her examined by the doctor since the area was getting increasingly crowded with no scope for social distancing. Todays OPD was a classic example of how far mismanaged a hospital OPD can be and when children have to go through the same grind, it is always wise to avoid this place if children are patients. Delays in an eye hospital OPD is excusable but rank mismanagement and zero-information relay to patient party hurts. Also, please sensitize your staff about handling children as patients.

Hospital is good but if you are outstation patient then kindly visit some other hospitals. They takes lot of time without providing treatments.. I brought my mother here expecting a good treatment but they just giving dates after dates.. staff at retina councelling is extremely extremely rude.. never felt such behaviour even in govt hospital. Myopia Control was not discussed at any appointment with my children. Very disappointed to learn that their high level of myopia is now placing them at risk of visual comorbities when this coul have been prevented.

One of the worst hospitals in Kolkata I never ever recommend to anyone to go their for west of money. I never ever got that time of experience before. According me it’s a place where people know how to take money from present, they don’t even take care presence condition. They’re concerned about taking money.After 2 times operation also my relatives eyes instead of increasing it’s gone down. So I recommend people dnt go the place for west your money. Today itself visited along with wife .....infrastructure is ok but more patients were there than they could facilitate which lead to confusion. For basic testing and recommendation we waited for more than 4 hrs. Unfortunately due to frustration we left ....sorry not at all organized.

Highly dumb doctors with no sense of checkup.. I was suffering from optic neuritis.. And what they got with their Diagonostic is sinusitis.. Had I delayed a but more in consulting some other doctor.. I would have turned permanently blind

I referred to Dr jayanshu for my mothers eye where he suggested to go for surgery.Initially the team gave me a date where someother doc was about to operate but i preferred mr jayanshu as I consulted him.on the day of operation,i got to know from my mother that he didnt operate rather some other doc operated.the other doc was very nice and did the follow up check up as well . During the day of operation,i saw that none of the hospital members informed us anything systematically. Post follow up i was asked to come for another appointment after checking with the team and they provided a cell number to contact.now it has been days i received no response from that number,they are not received calls nor they are informing the correct date to visit.i am really disappointed from the service that the hospital is giving

Worst eye hospital ever. I did regular eye check up and the power they noted was very different from my previous one with was done by Disha eye hospital. So I started doubting and they I went to two different hospital and found that yes the power which Priyamvada gave was totally wrong and with huge difference from the real power. Shame!
