I didn’t had any work in the hospital itself per se, went to the academic block. It’s not in the main building but the adjacent one, quite obscure from the view. I’m attaching the picture right here. If you want to apply for jobs, you need to go here and talk to the HR. They’re quite helpful, I’m sure that can speaks about the hospital culture as well. Stay healthy, stay fit.

In this context, I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards Dr. Mukherjee who has redirected the course of my mothers sustenance. I am greatly indebted to him, whose exemplary dedication, devotion and determination for his service has gifted my mother with a new existence. His highly methodical, well planned measures along with a very caring attitude culminated with zeal of rational thinking makes him an extraordinary personality. Thank you Sir. Quality Care Matters and Hospital AMRI DHAKURIA has that.I am really very grateful to the doctors and all other associated staffs of AMRI DHAKURIA.My dad was admitted in AMRI Dhakuria on 16.09.2021, with chest and severe blood related problems under Dr Suranjan Mukherjee (Consultant Pulmonologist) and Dr Jasashwi Chakroborty (Consultant Haematologist). The treatment was wonderful under their care, with lot of positive vibes which acted very positively towards the patient. Doctors are very kind, confident, knowledgeable, ethical and they responded each time we needed to know the findings, which was very supportive. I strongly recommend these doctors. And each and every other staff was really helpful from Emergency to Accounts. Special Thanks to the Treating Consultants and Dr Biswajit Mishra and Dr Banerjee (Emergency Doctors), Mrs Keya Sarkar (OPD- Co ordinator), Mr Sudip Debnath (Sr Executive Commercial), Mrs Ishita Majumdar Neogi (Deputy Manager- Admission) and everyone in the ward who has treated Mr. Naba Kishore Saha (Bed: 1413).Unfortunately, I couldn’t manage to travel to India due to lot of COVID Restrictions in place, but the hospital has never let me down. The staffs had even looked after my mum and helped her throughout. He is now discharged with good health. I wish him all the best. And I strongly wish the hospital to provide this type of quality service to each and every one in need all the time. All are stars from doctors to admins. Much appreciated. Worst third graded gastro department management by the amateurs... They didnt even bother to care for patients who was in intense pain and was sitting there for a long time.. They were so irresponsible that they never took the weight,BP and pulse before OPD, in short just focused into moneymending process... The guys who work in the billing counter is amatuer and doesnt have basic knowledge about card transaction and card swipe machine servers which ultimately they blames to the customers that their card doesnt have enough money.... Who knows what is going to be the future of this hospital?😂😂😂😂 And speaking of swasthya sathi .. They will always say you have to do booking from 30 days ago...😂😂😂

I called the emergency service of AMRI Dhakuria for CBC, MP, MPDA , NS1antigen and RTPCR tests, as I had very high fever. The person who received the call put me on hold for more than 10 minutes. I had to hang up. The 2nd time I called, the person who received, named Subhojit, did not even know the full form of these medical terminologies and made me literally yell to spell the words and when I got disgusted, suddenly hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation. This is how they treat emergency patients.Worthless place indeed !! Shame!

This is to write a review regarding this hospital being pushed to an edge. Ive visited this place for my mothers knee injury. Taken appointment for 2:30 pm on Saturday and reached hospital at 2:10 pm. The staffs are hell of a rude talkers asking you to take token and bill first. Once youre done with that they wont tell you anything about when or how doctor will pursue you for check up. The system can be tiring; however, the staffs help you get through this. But the attitude and their behaviour was a really horrific to begin with. But I must say amongst all these one sweeper helped me get through all these guiding me in every step. His behaviour was amazing regardless of his job entitlement and he did everything for which he wasnt recruited.

The business in this hospital currently is surviving merely because of its legacy. The major issue of this place is the abysmal service the offer. There are visible sufficient staff, but still you get the feeling that the system needs some oil. For instance, when a senior citizen approached the counter reserved for the senior citizens, and when there was no ine else, the staff said that he has to stand in the main que and wait for his token number with the rest. I mean, why on earth have you put up a separate counter ?? The shear attitude of the staff will extract of your confidence in this place. The management needs to seriously consider these issues, if they are as sincere are they advertise to be.

Dr Amitabha Ghosh ( Laparoscopic Surgeon)The best thing a doctor can give to a patient is the feeling of reassurance that he / she will get well soon and will be able to resume normal lifestyle in no time. This was exactly what Dr. Amitabha Ghosh did in our case when my mother was diagnosed with gall bladder stone and one of the smaller ones managed to slip into common bile duct.Considering her age and the fact that she needed to undergo two procedures we were very apprehensive but Dr. Ghosh really put our fears to rest and explained to us how the treatment would happen. As for the rest ,starting from the day my mother got admitted till the date of her discharge he used to call everyday and provided us with all the information about her health condition and how she was recovering and that really helped us a lot . Post her surgery , he used to enquire about my mother’s progress which is simply unimaginable .In a nutshell ,Dr. Ghosh gives utmost priority to a patient’s well-being. ..a true Doctor in every sense of the term. You are in best hands if you are under Dr Amitabha Ghosh’s treatment….this is what we can say from our own experience!!Further, we are really grateful to all the nurses and support staff at AMRI Dhakuria for their relentless work and catering to the needs of all those who are admitted ! A doctor is expected to have the right knowledge and requisite skillsets, but mastering soft skills simultaneously is also an art.Dr. Amitabha Ghosh is a great combination of both. After being referred by our dear friend about a month back, we visited Dr. Amitabha Ghosh inorder to consult and treat my daughter (aged 15 years) for multiple Gall Stones. On our very first visit we realised how friendly, approachable and a genuinely kindhearted person was Dr. Amitabha Ghosh. These are qualities which have become so rare today and hence experiencing such characteristic traits, that too from a busy Doctor who is also a Surgeon was indeed overwhelming and gratifying. He is a patient centric doctor. At the end of the first consultation, Dr. Ghosh advised that sooner or later the way out to treat gall stone is a laparoscopic surgery also known as laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Since my child was extremely scared after she learnt surgery is the only way out, Dr. Ghosh proactively eased out her fear and explained the entire process and made it look so simple. He took a pen and paper and explained us how the organs in the stomach look like, how the Gall bladder functions and why the surgery was needed.Dr. Ghosh is not only compassionate but also understands the child psychology well which helped my daughter to win over the surgery with much ease and confidence. At the same time, he uses his wit and never gives any kind of tension or fear. Since our first visit and till today when we took our child for the first checkup post-surgery (after a week), Dr. Ghosh used to call me on his own inspite of his busy schedule to find out how my daughter has been doing and how she is recovering. He also spoke to our daughter to find out about her well-being and if she has any concern. Dr. Ghosh always responded to our phone calls or messages irrespective of his hectic schedule which brings great relief and gives us a feeling that we can always reach out to him in case we need his help or advise. Honestly, these gestures are rarely found today and that too from busy Doctors. The surgery was flawless as Dr. Ghosh has a safe pair of hands, and it all went as planned on 30th Aug. On the day of discharge - 31st Aug, to our surprise Dr. Amitabha Ghosh presented my daughter with a big Cadbury chocolate Silk Bar when he came to visit her in the afternoon for a checkup and it made my daughter and us feel so touched. What a lovely gesture!Post-surgery too, Dr. Ghosh stayed connected and always rendered help and assistance to any query we had, any concern that we raised happily and patiently as he spoke to us on the very first day.In one line, we can proudly say that we experienced God through Dr. Amitabha Ghosh as he was His (God Almighty’s) own representative. We wish the society has more such Doctors and Humans like that of Dr. Ghosh. We take this opportunity to thank Dr. Amitabha Ghosh once again for all that he has done and for his services. We wish him and his family the very best in life ahead. We will always remain indebted to Dr. Amitabha Ghosh and look forward to staying connected. At the same time, we would like to make a special mention of the nursing staff at AMRI -Dhakuria. They have been extremely courteous and helpful. The nurses and sisters who so ever took care of my daughter showed empathy and took great care specially since my daughter being a child patient. They certainly deserve a round of applause. We also would like to thank the Floor Manager who took care of my child and was proactive in anything that we wanted. Even the lady security in front of the OT was helpful and prompt in her own way. All of them together demonstrated great service quality and am sure they are the assets for AMRI. All the very best to the management of AMRI and their staff members - medical and non medical.Best Regards,Soumava Mukherjee

Dr. Sinha really took great care of my mother and patiently heard me when I would meet her in the evenings. She is one of the best doctors I have come across, is aware of bedside manners and my mother was very happy to be under her treatment. She continues to be under her treatment. Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee was the pulmonologist and I hear from my mother that he was very good and empathetic and took good care of her. Also Keya Sarkar Madam helped me a lot during admission and I will be ever grateful to her.Initially my mother tested positive and was taken to Covid ICU and 2 days later was shifted to a general ward after being tested negative. The nurses in both places were very good compared to nurses in other hospitals. I believe that there is a shortage of nurses in Kolkata now but still the nurses did their best. I am saying this from experience as my mother had a private nurse at home when she was tested for covid and the nurses at AMRI were very competent.I would like to thank you for taking good care of my mother.

Doctors and nurses do take care of the patient, hospital do not charge unnecessary bill but TPA discharge do take much more time than you expected.Patient discharged by doctor at 9am final bill submitted at 12pm and TPA clearance given at 5pm.

Vaccination process would never have been smoother. I want to thank Suparna Bhattacharya for being compassionate and working selflessly to arrange for vaccines. A big hats off to the entire team at Amri Dhakuria for standing tirelessly during this pandemic.

This review might seem to be harshly critique of the doctor in the pandemic but the review can’t be any more truthful than this.Booked an appointment for him in AMRI DHAKURIA for my father ‘s post covid symptoms including very mild pneumonia like symptoms which was diagnosed with HRCT THORAX on the very first meet. Still he proceeded for multiple x ray imagings which is usually recorded as a less perfect approach than CT scan.He didn’t want to listen anything from the patient party and put a really bullying mentality on the patient party that we were left with no option other than admitting our patient. He has a very rude and hoarse behaviour towards the patients. Occasionally he would forcefully make his patients seem cured in front of other patient parties just to show off his charm and propaganda. When i being a first year MEDICAL COLLEGE KOLKATA student seem to know much more than his rude assumptions.AMRI is a well reputed hospital its really unexpected to see such mediocre doctors there. Its really heartbreaking to see these doctors just using there “DOCTORS ARE LIFE SAVER” tag to earn money like this and not be even criticised. Its definitely a no brainier that these type of doctors who doesn’t have a character to hold their knowledge should be abolished in the medical industry.Lastly DR SUBHASHISH CHATTERJEE IS A VERY RUDE AND UNETHICAL DOCTOR, WOULD EXPLOIT YOUR RESOURCES TO A LIMIT THAT YOU HAVE TO SUFFER A LOT THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS. Doctor’s principal strength is to know when to show sympathy and empathy and know the correct timing for each decision to be taken. He doesn’t have any such character. He admitted a completely fine patient with mild symptoms in general ward goes to show his greedy nature.DOES NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR .A VERY POOR MINDED DOCTOR.I myself is a medical student with multiple people in our family are doctors in reputed hospitals felt this should be addressed.

THANKS, THANKS,THANKS to AMRI HOSPITAL DHAKURIA....... My only son Tamaghna Basu when admitted he was too critical with sop 89 to 90 . He was admitted to the hospital under the supervision of DR.SURANJAN MUKHERJEE. He was much worried and tensed about my son, and was desperate to make him avoid ventilation at any cost. I was then totally in a devastated situation, and I was not in a position to look after my son because :-1) My husband was fighting against covid pneumonia with 90% lungs damage under ECMO SUPPORT.2) I myself was covid pneumonia patient with sop 93 to 95 and falling of pressure.3) No one beside me except my sister.DR.SURANJAN MUKHERJEE tried with all of his effort along with full medical team to save my son and ultimately after 12 days battle, my son recovered.SALUTE FROM THE CORE OF MY HEART TO DR.SURANJAN MUKHERJEE. Also my salute to some other persons whom I came to know---Keya Madam, Mr . Hiralal Sarkar, Suparna Madam, One madam from Bill section (whose name I dont know ) who refused to say the outstanding amount of my bill as my son was then critical, and instead of the outstanding amount, communicated to us about my son and connected me to the Doctor. Most unfortunately, my husband is no more, as he passed away in MEDICA Hospital after more than a month of Ecmo support. I didnt get a chance to admit him on 16th April 2021 in AMRI HOSPITAL, DHAKURIA as I was informed it was totally filled up then and no bed was available. I cried from the gate to emergency department with folded hand request but every thing was gone in vague. So I have requested to hospital please arrange more bed and medical assistance in this pandemic situation, so that no patient may fall into the grasp of death for the lack of medical treatment thereof.

Horrible service for vaccine.Wish I could post a video of the lack of social distancing and lack of organisation for the services provided.Till now I dont receive my vaccination certificate.please do not visit this hospital as they will make you wait outside in the heat for hours and if you ask the management a question they will not respond they will act busy. Pathetic service and waste of time and energy visiting this not up to standard hospital.

I had booked an appointment with Dr. R. N. Bhattacharya (Neurosurgeon) today for 10:30am slot. I was assured by the executive over call that doctor shall be available at the above mentioned time. However, when I reached there, the receptionist said that I had to wait till 11am. She will register my name post 11am and doctor will see me after 11:30am. If that is the standard protocol, they should have mentioned it clearly over phone so that I would not have to wait for so long. This kind of unprofessional bevariour is least expected from a hospital of such high repute. I would definitely recommend everyone to avoid visiting AMRI, Dhakuria for any consultation.

Myself soumen Saha from joynagar (south 24 pgs). I have admitted at Dhakuria AMRI from 1st of May to 8th May due to covid possitive. Here all facilities are too good or mind blowing and also all medical and non medical staffs behaviors are too good and they are too much cooperated. Only for them and also my Dr.(Dr.Mahua Bhattacharya) I have returned back from death.Hospital infrastructure is too good.AMRI hospital Dhakuria is committed to the care and safety to the patients.Iwant to express my extreme gratitude for the care I received at the hospital. From the moment when I went their in a critical condition to the time of discharge every experience with every department was great.Thank you for a wonderful experience and good care.Sincerely,Mr.Soumen SahaJoynagar MajilpurSouth 24 parganas

My parents had been admitted here and Im thoroughly impressed with the skills of the doctors here, specially Dr. SK Todi and Dr. Rupak Kundu who have taken immense care and administered all necessary timely treatment for them. Also the staff at all points, ward, billing and so on have been helpful with the management also being considerate towards our requests. However, the blood bank was not very helpful during our need for plasma and hopefully they will be more cooperative towards patient families, who are under mental duress at the time. All in all great doctors and good management.

My wife had a good experience in Amri hospital. Staffs and doctors were good. Mrs. Suparna Bhattacharya helped us a lot. We personally think she deserves a far more better position in the organization. Now the reason behind giving 4 ☆ is, we were told that we would be would be given twin sharing but we got general ward but we were charged for twin sharing. Really putting it altogether we think the junior and mid level management is good. Thanks to AMRI Hospital family.Regards,Lata and Asish Mukherjee.

I was Covid-19 positive and so was my father. While I stayed at the satellite centre in Southern Avenue, my father was at AMRI Dhakuria. In spite of such difficult times, it was the special care and effort of the entire team at AMRI Dhakuria that helped me and my family overcome this crisis. Special thanks to Suparna Bhattacharya (di) for the timely admission procedure and coordination. The satellite centre was excellent and helped me isolate from my elderly parents. Docs and team there were very caring and supportive.Thank you AMRI Dhakuria. Will always be indebted for your care and treatment.

So much in the name of multi-speciality hospital. The discharge procedure takes more than 2hrs. God knows why they call us early. Even after fully paying for the service, it takes another 1hr. The reception staff is lousy, unprofessional, untrained & not fit for the job. Nurses and ward people are of the same category.Handpicked unprofessionals working minimum wages. They dont care about your family or their needs. They abuse & as a patient your requests go unheard. Only in India it can happen that you bloody need sources to make sure your family gets utmost care in a hospital.Absolutely no coordination among peers. No one knows what to do where. The receptionist makes you wait when the security has already cleared you to visit. No rules, regulations. Apart from doctors all other personnels are untrained workers. The emergency building itself is poorly maintained. No lounges/seats are sanitised after use. London airport is better than this multi speciality hospital. During the time I was waiting here I didnt even sit cause no one cares to spray the seats with sanitisers. The so called Goenkas & Aggarwals who own this place, Im a marwari too but you are a disgrace. Is this how the medical infrastructure should look in a country of 1.3Bn people. When will you loosen your heavy pockets?

My Experience With the temple AMRI, Dhakuria 🙏I was a covid victim! Even after maintaining all protocols throughout the year....... I had to face tremendous mental and physical suffering just due to someone elses ignorance and carelessness. When my oxygen level had started dropping, I had to be admitted in the hospital with various hypothetical fears. When I entered in the hospital on 24th April 2021 late night and they took me to the emergency, the supreme power welcomed me with gun salute!!! I heard an young ladys unforgettable outcry..........BABUUUUUU! I was shivering. Later my husband told me that a small kid was being admitted at that time. When they brought me in HDU, I didnt know why, immediately all my fears vanished. Angels were waiting for taking care of me. I dont know their names, I could not see their faces properly because they were wearing PPE Kit. But trust me, I had never met such beautiful ladies in my lifetime. It is not easy wearing PPE kit for such a long hours but they never expressed their pain.I was admitted there for six days. Whenever I asked for any help no one told me that it was not his/her job. They were always ready to serve with smiling faces. I never missed visiting hours. I never missed my home. I never missed homemade food. Food was really excellent in taste and in quality as well.I will never forget the magical word said by an angel there.. ........ IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR DAUGHTERS FACE EVERYDAY, YOU HAVE TO FINISH YOUR FOOD EVERYDAY!There is a saying if you want to meet God its never an easy path. I had met GOD within DR. S. K. TODI. I wanted to touch his feet but he didnt allow. So I had to pay my homage with folded hands 🙏 It was worth my suffering! Otherwise I would never have met him 🙏❤‌My heartfelt thanks to each and every member of AMRI, Dhakuria family. Today I am alive with good health just because of them. 🙏May God bless you all 🙏❤Bhaswati Ray‌‌
