The teachers are really good.. they teach very well... but they are very strict.

Dakshinee is surely an ideal place for learning. Discipline has been the main ideal followed here strictly till now. The staff is also the best standard. Location is also the most favourable one.

Standards have fallen drastically. Tagores ideals are no longer relevant in this institution - it is just a package. Still surviving a few still remembers the old glory which it acquired during Suvo Guha Thakurta.

This is an institution for rabindrasangeet and rabindranritya. There are yearly exam system and training for that under various gurus. Teaching techniques and teachers are good and dedicated. But they also need to be updated in some manner.

Somewhat i like it though had took lessons from some other good so wouldnt suggest them.

There are many good teachers here. There are many good students. But there is a bull at the base. It is a fully-fledged business organization. Its not mine. The man closest to them is Buddhadev Guh in his book. There is a twist on Rabindra Prem. But seeing the selection of songs of their program in the language of the respectable Subhash Chowdhury Mahashay means that they do not have access to Rabindranath. Rabindranath did not read well now those who run. Thinking I am saying from personal hatred. Please read pages 20-20 of Subhas Chowdhurys book Rabindranaths Songs and Others. Publisher - Revelation. The company was once really good. When a happy caveman. He used to love Rabindranath, not loudly of any business or social repute. Now its all changed. Something bad to say about alliances. Even in the past, we go to the auspicious pull.
