I work in the office situated in this building.There is bad smell of poultry on the ground floor and in front of it.I have to face inconvenience to come here from Howrah. I have go take 10 minutes walk daily from Mayo Road to come to HUDCO Building

Though not so clean and luxurious at present the buildings house important and dignified personalities of Kolkata.

A very foul smell emits from the ground floor of this building. The ground floor of this building is used for storing poltury live stock. The fowls, the hens are stored in a very unhygienic and in an inhumane condition. This place one can equate with Dantes inferno. It is nothing but hell both for the poor birds as well as for the humans who pass through this building. I wonder why the authorities have turned a blind eye to this issue. I guess the authorities have developed a massive nasal problem and for this reason they are not affected by this awful smell and are immune to it.

There is parking system at basement for 2-Wheelers only. Entrance from back side of the building i.e. from Free School Street.
