The place is one of the vaccination centres near Saatwik Hotel in Bhawanipur.The vaccination was seamless. They are doing walk-ins as well but it is always better to call and check before going there.It was clean and sanitized.Faced no troubles.This is a paid vaccination centre.

They keep increasing price and decreasing their food quality… The tiffin services have become poor than earlier with all miser people filling up your tiffin and serving you with less proportion of food. The sitting arrangements are not upto the mark.

Very basic food yet utterly delicious. Minimal spices, oil still it is tasty and hard to resist. One should definitely visit, if you want pure veg food without any second thought.

Nice place to be in...it has a good community hall in ground floor where various kind of functions are to be held. only con is it doesnt offer any parking space. if u want to drive a car here parking will be a huge issue.we attend many functions here . the washroom is not adjacent to the hall and its not clean . for women it will be problem .

The best place for Gujarati People to stay in Kolkatta

We had booked this facility through Yatra Dham for 16 people with total payment in advance. Had also confirmed on the phone. When we arrived in the middle of the night after an arduous 10 hours long bus ride, we were shocked to be denied admission - the guards were not aware of any booking--despite showing them the payment receipt and booking reference number. With children and elderly family members kept hungry and standing for over an hour, we had to call the trustees who thankfully rushed to the place. They were however in total denial of our booking and kept blaming Yatra Dham for being an online fraudulent agency. With much effort and investigation we were able to get in touch with Yatra Dham people who were helpful and had transferred the money to the Gujarati Samaj account and provided correct reference for the receipt number and the name of the manager they had communicated with. The trustees were still in denial and kept searching their office records for any receipt which they eventually did find. Because of internal management negligence and lack of professional communication, we had to face so much inconvenience - the worst was when the trustees thought of us as being non-Gujarati non-Jains just because we were from Pune and spoke in Marathi. They never owned up to their irresponsibility and arrogance nor did they apologize. Even chairs were denied for sitting when we were trying to politely request and sort out the matter. So sad that in the name of social and religious service such organizations act with utmost insensitivity and mismanagement!! Hope no-one has to face such problems again in the future. On the plus side though, the facilities were clean and well kept and very reasonably priced (just a warning: discriminatory pricing for non-Gujaratis!)

This is Gujarati Samaj, not a hotel, so keep ur expectation level down. There r 2 types of room, 1200 rs each day (older rooms) n 1500 rs (new rooms). Food is good. But the best thing abt this place is it locality. It is nearby to every place you would like to visit in kolkata. Places like Viktoria memorial, Indian Museum, Kalighat Kali temple, Birla mandir, Iskon temple, Princep ghat, Alipore zoo, Eden garden, Netaji bhavan, Park street, Maddox square are all within 4-5 km radius. You can get yellow ambassador taxi easily from this place. Dakshineswar temple and belur math are far away from city, but you can get a Metro from Ravindra Sadan station which is just walking distance (if u like to save money). If you are Jain, then there is a Jain Samaj nearby with even better rooms and much cheaper rates.

If you want to conduct a small gathering, then this place is perfect in your budget. It can accommodate 100-150 max.

Shree calcutta gujarati samaj is very old gujarati marriage hall and banquets. Before a year or two year ago the samaj is upgraded the halls and rooms and it is well maintained in bhawanipur area. The staff give quality services in good price. Parking is available and the hall contains 2-3 halls and around 30-40 rooms with kitchen available for marriage purpose. It is near saatvik pure veg. restaurant

Pure authentic Gujarati dishes and taste. The menu is diverse and colourful. On Sundays, a special Gujarati vegetable is made for example, this Sunday (29/12/19) it was undhiyu. Other vegetables include aloo dam, curry and especially my favourite shrikand.Overall, a must try if you have a craving for Gujarati food.

Lunch is very good, youll get only pure veg food like your home,Morning breakfast 8:00 am to 9:30 am.Lunch 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.Dinner 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.this timing may differ little depending upon the availability.Rooms accomodation is also available for outstation guest.Rooms are average, not so comparable like other hotels.Please do not give any tip to any staff unless they help you.

Well maintained dharamshala

They own more than 30 rooms which have attached baths, air conditioners, lockers and mirrors. They are suitable for stay of 150 people. The banquet capacity is over 250. All rooms, washrooms, corridors are well maintained. Food provided is superbly nice if u like Gujarati food. They allow outdoor catering and location is the heart of the city. It gets too many bookings in season. You have to preplan to utilise this amazing option.

Tasties gujju food ever tasted in kolkata

Went one fine afternoon to have a Gujarati lunch with a friend. This place is tucked away from the main road and i wouldnt have located it on my own. Such a neat and clean place, didnt find a scrap of paper floating around anywhere. The lunch thali was unlimited but my friend advised me to take only as much as i could eat and be careful about wastage. It was authentic Gujarati fare, and i opted for rotis, a dal, sabzi and kadi. We finished off with a sweet dish made of dry fruits. Loved the experience. One needs to leave the vehicle parked on the road outside as theres no parking available inside the place.

This place has got good rooms. And the food is absolutely amazing. Best place to eat for any vegetarian. They have unlimited thalis at 80 . And 100 in case you want to include buttermilk.

Nice place to stay and book for marriage. But when it comes to organising a event like Sangeet Sandhya, there are so many restrictions that it will kill your mood. No banquet chairs are allowed. the plastic chairs provided are broken from somewhere or the other. Do clarify everything pertaining to restrictions before booking. The drinking water provided in the can is completely unfit. The manager will talk in a very smart manner and will not speak about the restrictions upfront.So think before you book.

This place is located in one of the central area of the city and thats why prices of room is high compared to other Gujarati samaj across india. Food is yummy and I had great stay here for 4 days when in December 2017. If youre a Gujarati person and you like Gujarati food then I would suggest to live here compared to living in any other hotel.
