It has been years since I saw my South Point School due to Covid-19 pandemic. According to me South Point is one of the best schools in Kolkata, West Bengal, India and even Asia. I have now been promoted to South Point High School. Now because of this pandemic situation we are attending virtual classes from home. I miss my school very much

They are fraud.They sent us mail for virtual interaction mail but nobody was there and they have published shortlisted candidates for Nursery 1 without interaction with parents?How dare they did it? Makes a joke of the school. Ill complain about it..Shame shame

Thousands and thousands and thousands studies here. What they study only god knows!! Its a chaotic nonsense in the locality. From 7 in the morning till 7 in the evening the school runs in various shifts. What they teach who knows.This school creates absolute nuissance in the locality. In case of emergency neither an ambulance can get in the street nor even a fire brigade.A complete shame.

One of the best English-medium institutions in the city. But their main problem is that they admit too many students. If they reduce the number of students, may be they would be able to give more individual care to the students. Earlier this was affiliated to West Bengal Board. But recently they have introduced CBSE, and it is a huge hit among the students and parents alike.

Great school, at least the time when I was studying there. Nothing could match the time I spent in this school. Apart from curriculum pressure, every other thing seemed nice to me, break period, drama classes on Saturdays,etc. What I am now and what Ill become in future is all due to the values imbibed to me by my parents and my teachers at school. Really miss being a pointer!

Ill be discussing the crux of the reason behind this one star review .First of all they dont let us give zero stars or else I would have given that ... because they deserved it .This institution is good for education TRAINING but its pathetic if you want your child to be well behaved or if you want your child to learn to respect elders ..not only elders but everyone who respects them and those who are underprivileged.I would like to share something that happened today with me in this so called prestigious school .I was standing in front of the school gate under the scorching sun moreover I was fasting and it was getting more and more unbearable and uncomfortable for me ....I was just waiting for the school gates to open so that I could get in and BREATHE .....as the school gates opened I got in... And now I was waiting for my brother ( the dispersal timing was 10 30 but as always this so called prestigious school doesnt give a damn about the value of time ....so I had to wait for an extra half an hour .....I couldnt find a seat for myself ( because they DONT have any ) so I was walking in the campus ( note : there is no such instructions given to any guardian that they cant WALK !).now THIS lady ( the director of this school )comes she starts yelling at me .....she was screaming at me ...she was like WHO ARE YOU HUHHH???!?!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE !!?!? ( I would like to thank Dr.KOHLI for not saying MOVE THE F*** OUTTA MY SCHOOL ) I FREEZED .I was like ..... IS THIS THE WAY YOU TALK TO ANYYYYY PERSON ? If the director of the school is like THIS then how can we expect the students to respect anyone or behave properly .This is my second home .LEARN to respect people or retire . youre too old now .

It is a cheater school... BczSouth point was presenting a competition calles Ullas....The judges were from the south point school only.... And they only won in all the competitions.... So disappointing...

One of the best schools in Kolkata, in fact, one of the best in India. Academic performance and extra curricular achievements are very commendable. Most of the teachers are sympathetic and helpful, but behavior of most of the office staff and the 4th class staff is far from satisfactory. The narrow benches in the classrooms dont provide much comfort to the students. The washrooms are mostly dirty.

Very very good school with sincere teachers and good staffs. School discipline is also good. Charges are moderately high.

I like this school because there is a bonding between teachers and students. My son reads there from lower nersary. He is now in Class 2. Carparking is also available. Overall nice school.

The teachers here are very arrogant and selfish.If you join their tuition classes they might not misbehave and give better marks.Otherwise clearing every exam here is mighty tough.The students here likes to misbehave,show off their familys wealth and status.They use slangs and fight against each other.You may or may not learn anything else but you will obviously learn new slangs.

Ive studied in junior school from nursery 1 to class 5..... for 8 yrs now I am appearing for class 12 from this school only and can gurantee that number of student does not become hindrance in path of quality education.... Standards of this school has always remained high that would help them in future tho cope ump in this competitive world.... only some jealous people would portray this school as not a good one.......only out of jealousyInfact very few schools in kolkata can match up SPHS AND SPS standards and those who have studied and those who study here can very well understand this fact....

I had schizophrenia in class 11 and instead of being told to see a doctor I was insulted and told repeatedly by the faculty that I was doing drugs. The faculty does not care much for student welfare/does not know how to handle the problems of students properly. Also, coaching culture is dominant and anyone who does not attend at least 4 coaching classes is deemed a failure and an outcast. I sincerely hope that the school learns from its mistakes. 3 stars because the infrastructure is solid and because I could even graduate high school given all the difficulties I was facing.

I studied here from nursery to class 10 and I suggest this as the best school in Kolkata although now it has changed to CBSE.
