This is the youngest medical college in North 24 Parganas and catering to the population of Barrackpore subdivision mainly. This medical college has 125 MBBS seats every year and has MD seats in multiple subjects including Community Medicine, Chest Medicine.

One of the worst Hospital I have ever experienced. It took more than 80min to get admission on 13th Dec 2020 as the printer was not working for which I went physically to control room to get it done. At night After shouting for water only they provided water to my father who is 79 yrs old but he missed all the medicine for cardio and slept without any food at night. Next day they did all test post afternoon and he was suffering from coughing blood and respiratory problems. Doctors were also not in a state to let you know about the report or the test nor anyone from Control room allow to talk with dr as well...And To save my fathers life I admitted him To Peerless Hospital at 7.45PM On 14th Of Dec..And he had been discharged on 29th Dec..WashRoom near Admission room of Sagar Dutta Hospital is one of the dirtiest ever. So be aware of such hospital.

I was admitted there on 14.7.2020 and discharged on 24.7.2020. few experiences were good and few were worst. no coordination between control room and emergency. patients get harassed. GDA staffs worst and housekeeping as well. atleast toilets and wards has to be cleaned twicw a day.except mariyum didi GDA. she behaved well.sisters are good polite. whenever I called they responded politely. doctors came for round was fair enough. 👍👍👍foods provided on time but needs followup by superintendent. I got hair in my meal all the time. cold packet milk was provided to covid patients. that was totally wrong.no water for drinking at waiting area.comparing to other medical hospitals this was good. during covid i would suggest to go to this hospital. 👍👍👍I had good and bad memories....thank you....

Very systematic

Not bad. You dont have to face much gathering. Outdoor open in 10:00 a.m. and detectors observe the patient till 2:00 p.m. The quality of treatment is ok type. They will prescribe you general medicine for week after week. I visit for my skin problem but the treatment is not so effective. I dont know how is the other sections. Hopefully the rest will be good.

Really so sad i took my mom today at 2pm but thay are just completed there formalities upto 3pm but no doctors are comes for help just 1 injection, thats it and they are just ask for test 1 by one 5 floor to ground floor 6 time with my mom ..i radeuculas please.. guys please dont take your patients here...wast of time....

Wasing of time. I took my 2days old baby bt no improvement as we have decided to shift the baby to Park Clinic baby started to respond. Ridiculously important x-ray for my baby did not happen as it was sunday although he was a patient of NICU. They dont have the infrastructure to carry the sample to Lab. Doctors are not so bad. The wardens behave like that the hospital is theirpaternal property. Same strecher used for patient & dead body.

One of the worst and poor class hospital in the city of kolkata.. No responsibilities, no proper treatment fully arrogant staffs and just waisting the time of any patient and their gurdians... I will never ever recommend anyone to consult their patients

I would have outrightly given 5 stars but for few glaring issues:1. Once you take your patient in emergency for the sake of admission and moment you step in one has to be pretty lucky enough to get a stretcher trolley or wheelchair. Even when you lay your hand on one, a volunteer helper would latch on to you for the sake of helping you to take the patient in emergency room and later demand money. If you refuse to pay they happen to behave very irrationally and abuse you at times. On 05 Aug 2019 a person who brought his ailing mother to emergency in a wheelchair had to face the wrath of such staff. Surprisingly even the guards at the emergency came in support of that rogue helper.2. Next is the female attendants (Aayas) at female ward and their male counterparts in male wards are the biggest looters and shammers. They charge ₹150 per shift per day i.e. ₹300 per day. These attendants are for those patients who cannot accompany their own patients on 24 hrs basis. Once they pocket that money they dont attend to the patients sincerely. Once you check them they start behaving funny and work very shabbily and unhygienically.3. Next are the bunch of Nurses who have a gala time there. Except few sincere ones and the trainees rest are mostly the agony aunt. 90% of time they are busy with the files of the patients. They leave the patient to the mercy of the attendants. The attendants are only obedient to the nurses and attend to the patient for namesake. The helpers take full advantage of the very older patients who are not in a conscious state. Once you complain they threaten to return the money and say they cannot attend to the patient. Even if you complain to the nurses about them they rarely pay any heed to your complaints. If you walk to a nurse to tell them to attend to a patients requirement they in turn call these attendants dressed in civil cloths to attend to the patient like changing the IV bottles.Now the good things are the Radiology department and their staff are doing an impeccable job and sincere service. Most of the junior doctors or students are also doing good job. When the Senior doctors are on rounds the entire scene of the ward changes and for those moments entire staff are on their toes. If some one takes care of the above mentioned issues then this Hospital cum College can be one of the best. Cleanliness is generally good as compared to other Govt hospitals except for the corridor window bases which is badly covered in red spots as they are used as spittoons by people. For this exclusively people are blamed who simply spits here and there.

This is one of the state government medical colleges situated in Kamarhati, North 24 Parganas. Its a fully-functional edical college with OPD nd IPD patient care facilities. Its a tertiary acre hospital, so other than the superspeciality wings(which are on their way to get added) , one can get all sorts of treatment.The campus is beautiful with 3 ponds in it. A hospital with scenic beauty is soothing to the sore eyes!

I have been to this hospital bcoz my niece was not keeping well, I was not aware that its going to be the worst experience of my life. I always respected the doctors and the staffs as they always tk care of the patient but thats what I used to think. In this hospital, These staff, first they are uneducated and thats how the story begins. Once you enter the hospital premises they start behaving like you enter in a prison and they are the wardens, they behave so very bad, im not able to put it into words. They dont know how to talk to people, they are very ignorant their behaviour is worst as I see as I experienced. Who ever is going to the hospital its bcoz they are in medical need and people around them are very upset, so the faculty should teach the staff how to talk properly, no one go the hospital to have fun so these illiterate, uneducated and unethical people should change their fu***ing behaviour... Moreover its faculty who is more responsible for these kind of issues. I myself will recommend not to get in to #SagarduttaHospital untill or unless it is the last option. If you choose this hospital then keep your education, ethics and self-respect aside.Bcoz the kind of a behaviour you going to face in this hospital by the staffs, mostly women(bohot zyada badtameez hai) its pathetic...

Today on 10/05/2021 at 04.00 PM time bed number-4020 of Covid Mail section, the patient has passed but now it is 10.18 PM In other words, the deceased patient is still in that bed. Patients in the area are having difficulty but the hospital authorities have not taken any steps yet.The corpse can be left like this for 6 hours, again in a cowardly situation ?????
