Brabourne emanates nostalgia. The old college building, the old classrooms have witnessed the bravest and smartest women of earlier times. It used to make me proud everytime I entered the college and Im still proud that it happens to be my alma mater. I have got tonnes of memories made and pictures taken inside this campus. Though in my third year, a new building came up which is the Post Graduation building. I attended lectures there too. The campus is pretty big with lots of greenery. Youll find the names of trees alongwith their scientific names attached to their trunks.There were 3 canteens in the campus when I graduated (2018). The quality of education imparted there is A1 and everyone is pretty much aware of it. However the only problem is, DISCIPLINE. The rules are wayyyy too strict. Youll feel like you are at a school. The campus is ragging-free which is a blessing.

It is a beautiful looking college at Park Circus in Kolkata -700017 . It is situated in near Park Circus Maidan ( Near Don Bosco Circle ) . Behaviour of the staff is quite good I can say . From Park Circus railway station (PQS) this college is in about 10 minutes walking distance . Hope this will help you guys.

K. Fazlul Huq. It was named after Doreen, Baroness Brabourne, an Anglo-Irish aristocrat who was the wife of His Excellency The 5th Baron Brabourne, the then Governor of Bengal. Lord Brabourne died on 23 February 1939. Sir John Herbert, the next Governor, laid down the foundation stone of the college on 26 August 1939. The college has 50 percent reserved seats for Muslim women and the rest for Hindus, Parsees, Sikhs, Jains and other ethnic communities. The hostel facility was kept exclusively for Muslims. The college started admitting Hindu students due to shortage of Muslim students. It has since become difficult for Muslim students to get admission to the college according to the All India Minority Association. In 2017 the college along with others affiliated with the University of Culcutta were given permission to provide PhD to their students.

Worst college in Kolkata. Tortures students all the time. I would advice you not to go to this college especially the hostel. I am a student suffering from depression due to college pressure. This college sucks. They wont let us celebrate college fest. And the statistics department is the worst. The teachers are real witches. Sometimes we feel like they are death eaters. And yes Im not joking.

I graduated from here, and I I think the atmosphere of this college is really good for studying but I expect Professors to be more friendly and nice to the students, specially who doesnt crack things in a first time... But the official employees are too rude to students and I dont know why they always trying to prove that these students are nonsense, doesnt know anything!!!!!...🙄 How to fill the forms, which color should use to write!!!... Lol... I can still remember those horrible moments!.. I didnt go to the canteen, so I dont have much idea about it.. But the family of the gatekeeper is really nice and humble!.. When I lost my new phone just after few days of buying they helped me to find out, like Im his family!!... I miss those stairs, near Principal-room, when we used to sit and talk bullish!!!...😎😎 Lol.... Enjoy.. 😃

I have gone to this college for my practical examination. The teachers here are very uncooperative,they demotivate the students,by their behaviour.They kept on shouting, the whole time ww were there.It was not a good experience at all.

Presently , I am working as Probationary Officer (Scale-1) in Export Credit Guarantee Corporation Of India (under Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Govt Of India). Here, whenever, people recognizes me....as an alumni of that college of which, the ace banker Arundhati Madam were an alumni, I feel so happy.I thank God and my respected faculties,(My living Gods), for being there in the thick and thin of my hardships.WIth best regards to all the faculties of my college and love to the students...
