I spent my 13 years in this school and it had been a very good experience. Teachers are helpful and they will make you understand the topic very nicely. Youd get one of the best English teachers here and this is very much true. Keeping all the mishaps this school has faced, it is still very good at providing proper education and other cultural programs. If youre diligent enough, youll pass out with amazing marks. The school does not care about mental health and physical as well when it comes to menstruation. I had been denied a sanitary napkin from the nurse because I did not happen to have money. I was bleeding and was in extreme pain. I told the sick room to write down my name in the register and that I would pay back the next day. The nurse simply refused to give me a pad. In an educational institution for girls? Seriously? Sanitary products should not even ask for students money. Also, my sister had to leave the school in the fifth grade due to excessive bullying by peers and a teacher. They simply let you bully. Mousumi Roy is the teachers name who made my many young children fear and hate school. It has scarred some students.

Weird school.They dont give priority to mental health of students.Dont have cctv cameras Every year something ominous happens here.Either someone commits suicide or gets mollested or jumps off the terrace.Full of negative vibes.

I left this school when i was in class 5 The negligence,the horrible attitude of the teachers and the bullying and lack of discipline in the school was a big scar in my childhood. No actions and precautions were taken for safety of students. Mental health was a joke ! . The study system was terrible. The infrastructure and the staff is pathetic. Dont send your kids to this school if u dont want them to suffer. The atmosphere of bullying and mental harassment is toxic out here and i was a victim . I am glad i left this school and now i am in a much better place and with better people and staff.

This has been my home for over 14 years. people do complaint about our special event - Spectrum but let me say it was the best years to be a part of the mega-event. This school has taught us way more than just academics. the teachers are none to be compared. both the senior and junior buildings have well trained and practiced teachers, who are abled guides as well. we have been a part of the school when there was no cc tv or air condition, but never did we had a word of complaint. the supporting staff are equally caring. G. D. B. gives a complete second home to who ever comes within its doors.

Its fab here whatever incident occurred might be true but now the school has taken too much of security and discipline. The teachers are very interact and caring. I love studying here.Dont blame the school all the time for not giving security there is also a big mistake of the 2 teachers who has done this wrong .Nobody knows what a person thinks in his mind which states that the school did not know what the person thinks and what will he or she do. The school has cc TV camera all lady security staffs and all rules are correctly obeyed by students and teachers.

My school! Actually this place is beyond rating for me! Have so many memories here...One of the best school in the city for girls!They also have a Morning section for boys(for classes 11 and 12 only).And the girls counterpart is from class lower infant to class 12.

To parents who want their wards to get admitted here , let me tell you i dont have any personal grudge against this school . I have studied here for 12 years. The school was ONCE UPON A TIME a good school . The school has a poor faculty , in an English medium school teachers don’t know basic English , there are 3-4 exceptions though. Due to less wages experienced teachers are leaving the school . Coming to infrastructure, they are fitting in 50-60 students in a tiny room. No proper ventilation .. 70 years old fans . To accommodate more students classes are held on the ROOFTOP with asbestos sheet and temporary fitted doors. Washrooms are absolutely unhygienic . After I got done with my ICSE I could no longer stay in this school. They didn’t complete the board syllabus . The parents may get driven away on seeing the junior building but real issues start as one is promoted to class 6 . Things will take a toll.

Attended classes 11 and 12, humanities for the session 2013-2014 and 2014-2015. The teaching staff is clearly one of the best and there are some brilliant students with highly successful futures, this is proved by the brilliant results achieved by both ICSE and the ISC students. The administration and discipline are the only things that the school lacks in, teetering towards poor.

Its a good School its belongs to CBSE board and they provide good quality education to kids.

Its not totally the fault of the school. Its the fault of the humanity and present day human psychology that is totally responsible. There are some faults of the school they i.e, they dont have cctv in the school and they have recruited such cheap teachers. The major fault is the fault of bad mind setup of those two trachers. Pros: Old renowned school in Kolkata. Helping, mostly nice teachers. Very good numbers scored in icsc and isc. The junior section is better. No home work given.Less pressurised children compared to other schools. Fleet of bus through the city.Cons: many. Very expensive. But poor management. After spending such huge fees students dont get little basic services. Students dont get clean toilets, airy class rooms, a.c. There is NO CCTV security. No sports day. No annual day. So little open space inside the school. Children dont get space to play. NO TECHNOLOGY used. For example: No SMS service. They do not use any technical help to pass infos to parents and students. You have to call the school to find out any info. Children of these kind of high status schools get their project, home work etc on mail, and here they dont know what is that. The website of the school is dull. No email is acknowledged or replied. The class teacher is not reachable through mail, sms or phone. In Todays scenario this is a huge lack. Buses are not GPS tracked. For any bus related info, you need to depend upon the conductor. If he wishes to answer your call, you are lucky! There is no lady attendant on the bus.Every year school fees is hiked by 12%. Not all school from same bracket do that. The school only knows how to suck out money from parents. The school runs only because of the hard work of the teachers.
