He has cut the scars in probably most student life by showing his cruelty and no humanity in the inner.Probably except this sir all sir are good.The rest of the college is very good.You can definitely admit this without worry . Basically a college situated at Convent road near Moulali. Big premise. Parking is available. However, front road is not wide enough before the main gate.

At the time of foundation in 1963, Central Calcutta Polytechnic was a sponsored institute with two other institutes: Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, and National Institute for Technical Teachers Training & Research. The government of West Bengal took over the Institute in 1974. The Polytechnic offers diploma courses in mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, and computer science engineering. It also conducts post-diploma course in medical electronics. These courses are recognised by AICTE and WBSCTE.One of the biggest and busiest bus stop inKolkata. Ac/non Ac buses are available for going to Siliguri, Baharampur, Murshidabad, Digha, Haldia, Asansol, Medinipur, Nepal and many more places. Its good for mechanical and electrical branch but not for computer science because it does not have computer lab

College faculties are very good and helpful, the college have a good infrastructure comparing other government polytechnics. The only negative thing about this college is its student union. It is like cancer of the college. They conducts ragging towards freshers, if you are okay to get bullied you are good here and good in their eyes. And if you decide to stand by your dignity they will do everything to take you down from mental torture to physical. The college administration is well aware of this ragging problems but they cant do anything against it as the student union have a ruling government party affiliation. Administration always officially denies every act of ragging happens here. Specially girls are more vulnerable to ragging here. The common room, Hall room and party office is their intoxication place and most of ragging are conducted there. First few weeks they will act like good guys then they will start their act of torture. They will force you to join union and their rallies and if you dont you are red flagged to them and subjected to torture. Irony is the principal will tell you to report ragging event to student union, that student union who tortures and threatens students. This is the culture of this college. My junior brother and sisters please be safe, I pray to god that you may not face situations as we did and have a healthy college life.

This is one of the best polytechnic college in West Bengal. The facilities are so talented and amazing. There is canteen where you can enjoy a cup of tea from Kartik Da. There is a green park where you can spend lots of time with your friends. There is small ground where you can play cricket in short boundary. There is a lots of mangoes trees from which you can eat some of these in summer. There is four department electronic, electrical, mechanical & computer science. I am one of them of 2016-2019 batch from department of electrical engineering. It is awesome experience to be a part of this.😘😘

Im in this college from 2014-2017,in DETCE branch.... Apart from being a student of this college, I can say its a lovely institute. Really a good educational environment compared to the other polytechnics. All the teachers are so helpful and friendly.

There are many Polytechnics in West Bengal offering Technical Education to the aspiring students. But, Central Calcutta Polyttechnic, popularly known as CCP is quite different from all other Polytechnics. Its green campus, airy environment makes Technical Study easier and interesting. The respected teachers are always ready to assist the students and who says there is no study in college? They must come and visit our college and shatter their wrong conception. I am a student of CCP (2014-2017) of DCST branch. Really I love my college more and much more...!!!!

Only Politics no study. Rude behavior to freshers. Freshers are ragged by union leaders seniors and passouts. Poor laboratory, no chemistry lab is there. Always have to hear sexist and racial abuses. Women are most targeted for abuse. Lots of sadist people running the show and principle dont do anything but he knows everything. anti ragging policy is a joke here. Outdated labs. Many classes are suspended. tpo is careless about placements. Who joins union gives exam freely and gets away with cheating. in common room they do anything from intoxication to beating and abusing for sadistic pleasure. I had very bad experience here, worse decision of my life joining here.
