The biggest festival of West Bengal that is Durga Puja is almost here and Durga Puja days are incomplete without good authentic bengali foods.Recently I came to know about tiswa catering which is a catering unit based in Sovabazar. They are basically known for their authentic Bengali Dishes. Their traditional bengali menu is a collection of old recipes of Bonedi Bari. They takes bulk orders for occasions and they are also available on swiggy so you can order your food from swiggy.They are providing contactless delivery for our safety.Yesterday I tried their Basanti Polau, Chicken Kosha, Chanar Dalna, Dimer Devil and Chutney and honestly I loved them. Each and every dish was prepared so well. Dimer devil was so big that I was not able complete it alone. It had minced mutton with egg and mashed potato which enhanced its taste more. Chanar dalna was very delicious it had a perfect sweetness. Chicken kosha was so flavourful but not very spicy. I had the chicken kosha with basanti pulao and the combination was heavenly.Packaging was upto the mark and each meal contains a small pack of sanitizer which is very impressive. So I ordered few food items from here today. This is basically a catering company that delivers food all over Kolkata. You can also order from swiggy or directly contact them. They maintain a good hygiene routine which is very essential in the current situation.Now coming to the food. The packaging was very good and leakage proof. I ordered Basanti Pulao , Chicken Kosha , Dimer Devil , Chhanar Dalna and Chutney. I personally loved all the dishes. The Pulao had a mild sweetness that tasted perfect with the spicy chicken. The chicken pieces were succulent and very well cooked. The Dimer Devil was an unique one that had an entire egg along with smashed potatoes and mutton in it. The Chhanar Dalna and the Chutney were also very good. Overall it felt as if all the dishes are cooked at home. The quanlity was really good and the quantity was enough to fill one very hungry person.

I ordered Kaju kismis Pulao, Chicken kasha, Potoler Dolma , Tel koi & Aam er chutney. Firstly I would like to say about their packaging, it was absolutely perfect , no spilling of gravy was there which impressed me a lot. I think every Bengali likes the combination of Pulao and Chicken kasha , Im also not the exception. The stuffing of potol er dolma was in bit sweeter side and the gravy was bit spicy , so both complemented each other. Tel koi was a finger licking good curry what I devoured for lunch on yesterday.You can order through swiggy for any of your special occasion. They are taking every possible precautions to serve their customers safely.

The most delicious and delectable Bengali food. Excellent service, home delivered hygienically. Kind and courteous. But more on the food. Its awesome. You can taste the freshness, there is thought behind the recipes, its not one gravy fits all. Highly recommended for parties, gatherings, official functions etc. Excellent portions that will leave you stuffed !
