Food tastes lovely

Very good cuisine, but very disappointed with the final bill. We ordered four plates for average price 15€ served on a plate as we asked the waiters, but it went for 100€ :-(. It is the reason two stars dropping down.

I dont think there is a restaurant that we go to often. No, Im sure there isnt one. Everything really fits here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere pleasant. The service is courteous and professional. Here two very delicious kitchens are united under one roof. Very delicious Greek as well as Italian food. By the way, the pizza here is one of the best in the whole city for me, without exaggeration. I just think that many dont know. Thats exactly why Im writing this in here. The pizza is 1A and very large. Also properly booked! Keep up the good work!

Best Greek when it comes to grilled liver. Nice ambience and those who dont like Greek can switch to Italian dishes.

The rice was unfortunately a disaster in terms of taste, the size of the dish was okay, you will be full. Unfortunately, the wine order was forgotten. A salad was also forgotten. The salad dressing was not a flavourful firework.Most of the meat was good.

The food wasnt bad in principle, but there were still some, more or less decisive points of criticism.Rice was not my cup of tea, but I like the fact that you get both rice and fries. Still, the fries were a little sloppy.The gyros didnt convince me very much either, but the souvlaki, souzouki and lamb chops were very good.It was also disappointing not to get an ouzo.Furthermore, one person would forget the salad and the ordered wine was not delivered either.The loo was also a little shabby.

We went to seven at a local on a Thursday evening. the amore greco has a greek and an italian cook, so it seemed perfect to order the pizza calzone with gyros. is something new. served with a pot of zatziki, the pizza was really delicious. the staff was very nice and brisk. everything clean and well structured. I therefore think the amore greco is highly recommended and would love to come back.

Nice atmosphere, especially in summer on the terrace behind the house. In addition, delicious food and large portions. The service staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Wed love to come back here again!

We had our parents from Hamburg visiting and were guests at the Amore Greco restaurant for the first time. We are all immensely amazed at the good Italian food (Greek starter was also excellent and recommended!) We love Mediterranean food and are only guests in Italian restaurants. We very much welcome this combination of both countries. It was a successful evening all round, from the service, which is very attentive, friendly and professional, to the food. We were here for the first time and we all agree that this restaurant has the potential to welcome us as guests forever.Thank you very much. We are visiting Bamberg and have just discovered this gem. Nondescript on the outside and a mixture of Greek and modern on the inside! The bruschetta was crispy and very nicely presented. The gyro pan was hot and tasty. The extra request to have porcini mushroom risotto as a main meal was accepted without a murmur. Service was courteous, charming, and quick. We can only recommend Amore Greco.

Unfortunately only 0.33 liters of non-alcoholic drinks and these with high prices!

With a good Greek, you unfortunately get neither schnapps at the beginning and at the end. And the portions are much too small for the price. Generally the prices are a little too high. In terms of taste, however, it was delicious

We ordered earlier for 5 people. It was horrible and thats how it is put. Nobody ate even though the portions were not very large. It just tasted really gross. Hunger had to be satisfied differently. For a restaurant it was a cheek what was given here. The food was pure fat. Partly correct lumps

Always good the Greek.As you can see from most honest reviews. Also highly recommended for vegetarians.But if you want bananas I would recommend the market in the pedestrian zone. Or the train station in Bamberg.

Service was 👍Our seating area was really cozy during the times of Corona. Well, the food tasted really great, the size (lasagna) and the price you can at least discuss.

We were there on New Years Eve and were sometimes very disappointed!First of all, the prices were raised by an average of 3 euros and the portions were very small!The side bread still came in the wet bread basket and tasted of fabric softener, but the response was great and one item deleted from the invoice!The taste was very good!Are we still undecided whether we should visit the restaurant more often!

The starter was still the best🤔🤔Quality of the food is probably in the middle range.Mask requirement of the staff is handled rather poorly here, the first waiter had a mask, but not where it belongs 🙄 The waiter who brought the main dishes had none.Complaint about too salty Bifteki was ignored, no word of apology or reparationA drink that was ordered but not delivered, but still shows up on the bill.Conclusion: The Amore Greco will probably not be one of our favorite restaurants.

Super friendly staff and totally delicious food. Both the pizzas, as well as the pizza bread, the gyros and the steak. The latter was described by our buddy as the best steak I have ever eaten - and he has already tested many of them and has high standards in general 😉 we found the pizza bread to be super tasty, deliciously seasoned and simply very fluffy. A great restaurant that we think is absolutely worth a visit 😀😀😀

Very attractive ambience. Fairly dry meat, especially the liver was extremely dry and hard. The prices are measured in terms of quality and quantity too high. Special praise to the very friendly and outgoing attentive staff.

The food is good. There are a lot of staff. The service took longer than I would have liked. Empty glasses are not observed. After my personal feeling prices are overpriced. Needs due to the transformation and the many employees probably be so.

Very stylishly furnished. Food good, if not very much. The tsetiki at the gyros was extremely little, so we had to reorder - drinks very expensive ... 0.3 = 3.30 € is already fierce for Bamberg

Long waiting times

Ghiros with calamari after 5 minutes were already in the table. Doesnt mean freshly cooked. Unfortunately I dont come anymore.

I was there with four friends yesterday. Service very friendly. The period between ordering and serving the food was also perfectly fine.Hence two stars.Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food.For starters, I ordered the paprika feta cream. Delicious.For the main course, I ordered the grilled chicken breast with Mediterranean vegetables, steakhouse fries and herb butter. I didnt want french fries, I wanted a small side salad. Whatever was brought. All in all, the meal cost € 16.80.But when I say what I got ...A SMALL chicken breast, a mini potty with lukewarm vegetables and the salad as desired.For me, thats not worth € 16.80.I went home hungry. Price performance is not given here.My friends food was cheaper and above all a reasonable portion.Im not going to eat here anymore.Then they accidentally charged me an additional 2.50 € for the portion of fries that I didnt have. On request (paid with an EC card) you can no longer cancel it.Um okey🙄.The evening was not so nice for me but my friends liked it and they also got full.

We have been visiting the Metaxa for years. The food (meat and fish) was always excellent: the best greek I know. In the relationship, this is controversial, being barked here at a high level. The Metaxa is even better than my favorite Greek in Munich. Only sometimes - when the restaurant is full - you have longer waiting times. That seems somehow understandable to me.

The gyros meat tasted really delicious, nice and juicy. The fried potatoes, on the other hand, were really swimming in oil / fat and were not at all to my taste!

Ambience is partly good. Partly very naked. Prices are high. Portions are big. But the fact that you can only get a drop of tzaziki from the Greek is questionable.

Passed through and searched through Google restaurants. Chose the Metaxa. Food very good. Waitresses very friendly. Absolutely recommendable.

After renovation work and new names and under the leadership of the next generation, our first visit but definitely not the last. Successful ambience, attentive service, large selection of Italian and Greek dishes that also taste very good. A little more demanding in terms of price, but its worth it, e.g. B. We went to eat with 8 people today because it was all very tasty 😋 nice ambience top service the seafood salad is awesome it is simply recommended everything on the menu and finally the baked ice cream (madness) keep it up .......

We had bruschetta, asparagus soup and burrata as a starter. As a main course we chose beef liver, a mixed greek plate and grilled calamari. The food was excellent. The point deduction was that you forgot us after the appetizer. Only when we ask, was it noticed that the main courses are missing. These came very quickly.

The meal was excellent. The service was very friendly and fast. Questions about food ingredients were answered without being annoyed.Excellent restaurant, you can recommend.
