This place is located on the northern fringe of kolkata. This is a very important junction. This famous B.T road crossing gives access to many directions. Towards eastern it goes to kolkata airport, Newtown, Towards western it goes to famous Dakshineswar Kali temple and therefore Nivedita setu. Towards north it goes to Barrakpur and Towards south Shyambazar. Famous Bombay road and Delhi road or Durgapur Expressway are connected with Dunlop More. From Dankuni via DAKSHINESWAR TEMPLE road you may go to Srirampur via Uttarpara & another side is BELUR MATH THE HEAD QUARTER OF RAMKRISHNA MISSION . SO DUNLOP CROSSING IS VITAL POINT . DUE TO SHORTAGE OF SPACE & MAIN MARKET RESTAURANT EVERYTHING IS IN THIS POINT SO TOO MUCH CROWDED AT ALL TIMES . TRAFIC POLICE & ADMINSTRATION TRY THEIR BEST EFFORTS TO MAINTAIN TRAFIC FREE ROAD . This place is very near to Dakkhineswar Temple. You will get bus to go north kolkata as well as south Kolkata from Dunlop more. You will get auto rikswa to Noapara metro Station, from where you u can travel by metro rail to the most places of kolkata. The metro will now connect Howrah and Kolkata. So you can travel to howrah via the metro junction in Esplanade.
