On my recent trip to Kolkata, my dear friend recommended catching up here for a couple of hours. Me being a K drama fan, this place was perfect 🤩 I had no idea that it’s a Korean cafe and only when I stepped in and heard Korean music in the background, and saw the menu, I realized that I’m in for a pleasant surpriseI only had coffee and Kimbap. It was so delicious. Also picked up a few baked products to go.It’s a quaint cafe and slightly hidden from the hustle and bustle outside. They have a small seating area with a capacity of almost 12 to 14 seats. They also have a small space for workshops.Parking on the lane outside is possible.Loved being here and recommend a trip for sure.
While we have only watched korean cusine in K-dramas; since then we were very inquisitive about the food which we could experience in the cafe splendidly.Enjoying the food with my kids was an amazing experience. The behavior and ambience was amazing and the owner of the cafe was so sweet; she gifted my kids beautiful baked products which was simply superb and a very sweet gesture which we appreciated very much. Kamsamidah. I will definitely visit Cafe Tov again, very soon.
This is definitely one of my favourite cafes to visit. i always wanted to try korean cuisine and i am able to try it because of cafe tov. starting from the ambience to the food, everything is so good. every opportunity i get, i try to take my friends here and they end up loving this place as well.신 선생님, 이 카페를 오픈해 주셔서 감사합니다.
Cafe Tov is a korean-inspired cafe. The food here is really amazing. The price is quite reasonable too. It is a 10 minute auto ride from Kavi Subhash Metro Station.Food: Kimchi Momo is a must-try. Even Kimbab, Kimchi Fried Rice and Ramen is amazing. For Beverage, order anything that youd like. Choco Latte was my personal favourite.Desserts : Egg Tarts is a must-try!!!!!
Absolutely loved the FOOD, the staff, and the ambience!! Best Korean place in Kolkata🙌🏼❤️The baked items are just amazing! Would suggest the egg tarts and their glazed doughnuts 🍩And in terms of FOOD, we had ordered the Gimbap, Bibimbap, Ramen with Egg, Kimchi Momo, Kimchi Fried Rice, Tteokbokki, Cheese Egg Omelette and also Rice balls. All of them were AWE-AMAZING, apart from the gimbap maybe(personal opinion). They do have Jajangmyeon as well but not all the time (depends on stock). For drinks, we ordered the Korean Coffee, Hazelnut Latte, Caramel Macchiato, and a cold Einspanner (would HIGHLY recommend this one). INDEED THE BEST EINSPANNER IN TOWN!👌🏼
I visited this place because of the wide range of korean food menu.. Situated very close to Em bypass ajoynagar crossing, opposite to the shiraz restaurant. Small, beautifully decorated cafe, good food menu, tasty Jjajanmyeon, servings in beautiful korean styled bowls and chopsticks.Would have loved some korean or k pop music and some pictures of our favourite korean artists.Worth visiting.. recommended..
Visited this new Korean restaurant, Cafe Tov, opened in Kolkata near Santoshpur. Loved the ambience and the aesthetic vibe of the place. This is what we ordered here:◼️Einspanner◼️Iced Coffee◼️Sponge Cake◼️Cream Bread◼️Korean Tea◼️Kimbap◼️JJa Jang Myeon◼️DakgabiIts definitely a cafe that is a must go for all the Korean food lovers out here in Kolkata .
Cafe TOV has become my go-to place for breakfast, such is their range of products, and what to say about the freshness of their bakery items! Just one whiff and you know that this is the real deal.. I have tried almost everything from madelines to vanilla cake, the egg tarts being my favourite (I am like that kid from Flower of Evil, you give me an egg tart and I will melt😛)! The doughnut, apple pie, banana choco chip cake, cream bread, brownie.. everything is to die for. Their coffees are amazing and have helped me survive many workday blues.. from the mains section, I have just had the kimchi fried rice, which was high on flavour and so much in quantity, I savoured every mouthful. I cant wait to go to the cafe and have the buldak, kimbab, bibimbab sitting there, experiencing an authentic slice of Korea right here in Kolkata! Keep doing the great work, guys! 😍
The place is good for brunch and snacks. It has good korean recipes and authentic food. The ambience is also very comfortable and lively. Besides korean dishes, it serves a variety of coffee and non coffee drinks, pancakes, egg tarts, and also has a collection of korean books, kpop albums and other pretty accesories.
Newest addition to the city if joy.Located just a min walk from Ajoy Nagar bus stop, Cafe TOV is the newest destination for the korean food lovers.Let me tell you whats so special about this cafe. Its not just a cafe, its a Language Club. Where you can learn Korean language as well. Also they have some amazing breads and pastries for you to indulge yourself in.Coming to the things Ive tried,Kimbap : Looks a lot like sushi but theres a slight difference between them. Kimbap or Gimbap is basically made with steamed rice and dried seaweed while sushi rice is seasoned with vinegar. Also sesame oil is used in kimbap. Taste was really authentic and slightly different than the sushi. If you have tried kimbap before, do give this a try.Bibimbap : its a Korean rice dish which is made using, Steamed rice, carrots, seasoned spinach, sauteed onion, korean seasoned seaweed, poached egg etc. Recommended.Ramen : Ramen is basically pulled noodles, its kinda noodle soup. Ive tried their chicken ramen. The quantity is really good and definitely sufficient for one.Tteok-bokki with maggi : Tteok-bokki is one of the most popular Korean street foods in Korea. With a spicy, sweet flavor and a chewy texture it is an instant favorite.Kimchi momo : One of the best from their menu. Kimchi momo or kimchi dumplings are kimchi of course. So basically Kimchi is a staple traditional Korean side dish made of fermented and salted Napa cabbage and radish. Theyve served this with some seasoned lettuce.Pancake : My personal favorite from their menu. Loved who theyve presented soft pancakes with caramelized banana, vanilla ice cream and honey. Absolutely delectable. Much much recommended.Overall the food is totally amazing here, not to forget about their cute classy ambiance. The quantity of the dishes are well sufficient for one person and some dishes are well enough for two as well.Location 📍 C-234, Survey Park Rd, Ajoy Nagar, Santoshpur, Kolkata, West Bengal 700075Do follow @THESPICESANDFLAVORS for more such new places.

CAFE TOVA cutest cafe in the city and the hidden gem for Korean food lovers . Cafe tov serve us the authenticity of korean cuisine and a heart full of love ❤️As the coffee culture in Korea , they also continued to grow on kolkata , the variety and quality of coffee made and served increased.Korean Food is unique. Its known for its spicy flavor and the use of other seasonings to enhance the taste. Dishes are usually flavored with a combination of soy sauce, red pepper, green onion, bean paste, garlic, ginger, sesame, mustard, vinegar, and wine.🔸Location : C-234, Survey Park Rd, Ajoy Nagar, Santoshpur, Kolkata, West Bengal 700075In this cafe you can get varieties of breads, pastries also which are made by the ownerMrs. YJ An ( 안윤정 )❤️And Mr.GJ Shin ( 신국진 ) hes the multi-talented person . He takes classes for Korean language in the city . You can easily go and take lessons from him about Korean languageNow come to the foodSo i tried some of their famous dish like🔸Kimbab : Gimbap or Kimbap is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of seaweed—and served in bite-sized slices. The origins of gimbap are debated. They used thin sliced carrots , zucchini , shredded chicken , spinach , crab meat in the stuffing . Roll in the sea weed and glase with seasame oil which gives that a light kick of the oil🔸Bibimbap : Bibimbap, sometimes romanized as bi bim bap or bi bim bop, is a Korean rice dish. The term bibim means mixing rice, while the bap noun refers to rice. Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with kimchi and chicken chunks , Brinjal , carrots, spinach , soy sauce, seasame oil and sunny side up on the top🔸 Ramen : Ramen is a type of noodles with twisted strands usually cooked with chicken broth, beef broth, or pork broth. ... Notably, in Korea, Ramen is developed as one of the most crucial parts of the food cultures and society though is not traditional Korean food. in kolkata they serve in a pot with some poached eggs and kimchi . It was hot and spicy🔸Tukbokki : Tteokbokki, also spelled dukbokki, topokki, or ddeokbokki, or Tukbokki are Korean hot and spicy rice cakes. Cylindrical, chewy white rice cake noodles called tteok are stir fried in a delicious spicy gochujang based sauce. Savory elements are added to the sauce by way of anchovy stock, dried kelp and a splash of sesame oil.🔸 Kimchi momo : if you are fan of kimchi then surely go for kimchi momo . Kimchi adds tons of spicy and savory flavors! ... Filled with a kimchi mixture, these Korean dumplings, known as kimchi mandu, are highly popular in Korea.🔸 Pancake : Hotteok, sometimes called Hoeddeok, is a type of filled Korean pancake; it is a snack from Korean cuisine and is a popular street food in South Korea . The mix is seasoned and typically includes wheat flour and other ingredients such as corn starch, rice flour and sometimes baking powder. Koreans look for a slightly chewy and crispy texture in savory pancakes . They served caramelized Banana topped with Vanilla ice cream with the hot honey drizzled pancake .🔸 Lemon ice tea : one of the popular drink of korea . Lemon ice tea . A glass full of ice with the sweet and tangy tea .Well cafe tov is the highly recommended place in kolkata for the authentic Korean foodSurely go and try their kimchi momo , ramen and many more drooling dish❤️
Great place , great food , sweet ambience , surroundings are very peaceful too , if couples wanna go is a good place cause there’s a pond/lake near the are where you can sit and just chill with not much noise .The food is great , you’ll find a lot of the korean community in Kolkata gathering there , so it’s like a mini Korea .I had cafe latte , rice balls and jajang noodles/ramen .Rice balls and Jajang Noodles were great .Cafe latte my mum said was good . So that’s that .Oh and they gave us free brownie and jam cake .
Absolute gem of a cafe. Its the cutest place ever, however do keep in mind that its becoming really popular and has a lot of people coming in. Also its a really small cafe. Theres Korean books, and a ton of other cute things you can buy there apart from the food and drinks too.
Had a very wholesome experience with my mutual sisters and was also given free sweet bean cakes for my mother who joined along with us. The food was great, and would love to visit often if possible. Also the staffs provided us pretty warm and customer friendly services, it was a very homely atmosphere overall. Thank you Cafe Tov for everything. ^^
Super cute cafe with the sweetest owners! Great ambiance. Very aesthetic interiors. Ordered kimbab, kimchi momo and choco latte. Personally didnt really like the kimbab (my friends liked it on the other hand, so it totally depends on the kind of stuff your taste buds prefer). Kimchi momo was really good and the choco latte was v.tasty! Looking forward to visiting again!

Have not heard of many Korean restaurants in Town. This is an authentic Korean restaurant owned by South Korean couple. Its a favorite joint for young generations. Neat and clean. Ambience is good. All of their food items are very good, specially Kimbab, Egg tart and iced Coffee. Reasonable price. Owners are very gentle and polite. Korean Kimbab is like Japanese Sushi. Try once for a change. It is near Ajoynagar, E. M. Bypass. They also conduct Korean language classes.
Nice quaint little place in ajoynagar! They serve few korean delicacies which are worth a try!
The Ambience is so aesthetic. The Drink were great too

Loving it. Korean foods are really nice
The lady was a real sweetheart. Also the ambience of the cafe is something to crave for. It wouldve been even great if the prices were a bit reasonable. The gimbap and kimchi fried rice was not really suitable to my Indian taste.
Super cute Korean cafe, and so unexpected in Ajoynagar! Loved the food, drinks and service. Portion sizes are well worth the price, and the ambience is so inviting that you want to sit and chat for hours. I cant wait to visit again!
A true Blue Korean cafe with great coffee
Great place at Ajoynagar, that serves Korean food, and coffee! The kimchi fried rice and Kimbap was really good. Cute place, with nice coffee. Loved it. 💜
I stumbled upon this snuggly little cafe by chance on my way home from work. I didnt know I had a Korean cafe so close to my house. We tried the Einspanner(which Ive been wanting to try for a long time now) and Caramel Macchiato. The coffees were amazing. We had a little snack with egg tart and donuts. The egg tart filling was soft at the same time the tart shell was crunchy. The donuts were amazingly creamy with a soft sugary coating and was not too sweet, which is the best part. The owner was so sweet and friendly. They have Kimchi for sale too.Well be going very soon for some scrumptious lunch with Kimbap and Ramen! 💜Ambience: 5/5Food:4/5Pocket pinch per person: ₹ 300-400Overall, definitely recommend this cafe💜💜
