Nice venue... Sufficient parking place... Good spot for marriage or any big gathering

It was a beautiful experience. Rural ambience not to far from Kolkata and a huge campus. Good food and wonderful hospitality. Enough to long for a repeat visit.

A club near E M Bye pass at south Kolkata. Right of admission reserved for members and their guests when accompanied with them.Food and beverages are really good. Please try pan fried fish. Alcohol is served here.

On last month i attend a wedding ceremony on this place i liked the venue the food was great and the provided the best quality food and the staff behaviour was good and the environment of the place was good want to visit again and again

Food was absolutely below standard, team was not at all open to decoration ideas and inputs even with added charge, client service requires significant improvement. Banquet ambience was good and staff hospitality was commendable. Would not recommend venue for wedding.

Eastern Metropolitan Club is a very nice place with huge space inside and two gates for entrance. Ample space for parking is available over and above the marked areas of members. I was there for a marriage reception. Ambience for both the floors of banquet hall is well and spacious. The lawn in front is nice and may be used for extended arrangement.

Offers a cozy nice environment along with warm and good quality service. The club holds a giant swimming pool, a tennis court,a badminton court, card and pool room. Offers skating classes. Also has a gymnasium. The club is also a proud owner of 3 banquet halls and a guest house within the club campus offering a beautiful view of the lake. They have a separate bar and a multi cuisine restaurant. They often conduct events intra and inter club. Overall a family friendly as well as a party friendly place.

One of the best wedding reception venues of South Kolkata.Pros:1. Superb Location (exactly at the junction of EM-Bypass near the Metro Cash and Carry)2. Extremely spacious: 700-800 guests can be easily accommodated in their pool side venue.3. They have multiple guest rooms, in case one requires overnight accommodation of outstation guests. (Requires additional payment)4. In case someone is having 300-400 guests, then the lawn side venue can be booked at a much lower price.Cons:1. They wont allow you to book an external caterer or decorator, rather you have to book their services.

I visited this club for attending my friends wedding reception today. So I was able to have a look at the banquet section of this club.One needs to keep in mind while visiting the banquet section, that the sports part of the club also has Gate 1 and Gate 2 and one has to pass by them to reach the Gate 1 of Banquet section of the Club.Pros -The banquet section of the club us very spacious and can handle a good amount of guests for an event.This banquet has separate sections for every aspect of the wedding event. The toilets were very clean and well maintained. The entrance has security facility and I found the facility and its surroundings quite clean.Cons -None as of now from my experience.

Good place to host your marriage ceremony or the reception. Provides ample space for the guests to dine and enjoy themselves. Have the facilities like garden as well, which is a real plus. Location is also an added advantage really, being located just by on the offshoot road by the EM Bypass.

Although a reasonable place for members, the food is extremely bad. Even a simple coffee tastes better at the roadside than here. Try to improve on the taste of the food, which means bringing in better chefs. The current chefs are extremely disappointing!

Pros: Pretty easy to locate even for anyone not familiar with Kolkata (follow the Bypass, take one turn and youd reach your destination).Beautiful ambience for partying/celebrating.Large spaces for parking.Con: If youre booking the open space hall, you might notice a pond area adjacent to it with basically nothing around (so it gets pretty dark at night). They could revamp the area with proper lighting and infrastructure.Overall, great!

An upscale place in the vicinity, magnificent swimming pool with wide spread lawn makes it beautiful.Function hall and open area can accommodate 6 to 8 hundred people with well decorated chair and dining arrangement.There is enough car parking area inside the club still outside parking can also be availed. Well connected location makes it easy to find out.Food quality is good and reasonable.

Very nice in south kolkata . Next to jadavour university stadium. Good food,like minded mostly educated rich members. Lot of sporting activity for kids.

Good Banquet , just 5 minutes walking distance from Metro cash and carry......Not much switchable for rainy day......Decoration quite nice.....Outdoor long not usable in rainy season......Water drainage system is not so good in rainy day.....Huge parking facility available in front of banquet...You have to left this banquet in 12AM at night......Overall Banquet is good ,but price is much higher compare to others......

Lovely place. Accurate for any marriage ceremony or birthday party. Large area with wonderful arrangements. The party hall of the building is large enough. Only thing is that this is very good only for buffet system and the outside area is not suitable for rainy seasons. A large playground is also present just beside this.

I am not a member of the club and havent explored the whole property, however the pool is one of the best in the area, well maintenance and very conveniently located. The summer session of 6 months with any time slot flexi comes at around 7k which is reasonably fair package.

Nice place . Good to host a birthday party or marriage . The place is clean and well maintained. The membership at this place is Rs 3 lakhs per year .You can play badminton and tennis and do swimming. You can drink beer and smoke . There is also rooms to stay at this place .

I have been a member of the Swimming Club since Apr21.The pool is amazing, but what really bothers me is that for Covid situation, the pool is forced to shut down indefinitly after operating for just one month. With the vaccination drive on, why would they shut down operations indefinitely?I had purchased the membership for the entire season i.e. from Apr-Oct. But then club management has now advised that due to the inconvenience caused they would allow members to swim next year using the same membership ID from this year.Which is great, but not for me as I am not a permanent resident of Kolkata, and am here only for as long as wfh is prevalent.Also what annoys me beyond anything is that the pool is shut every other day for some reason or the other. Anyway, it is shut on every Monday, and then its shut on Election Day, Bengali New Year, Days on which Club Parties are hosted etc.I would sincerely and humbly request the club management to make these very clear in their rules and regulations instead of using generic phrases like the club reserves the right to shut down the pool without prior notice. I would urge the club to publish a holiday list beforehand, so that its easier for members to understand what they are signing up for.I would have been less annoyed (but maybe still a member) had the club been a bit more clear on the irregularities of their pool schedule.I was considering going for the permanent membership scheme, but because of the whimsical rules, I am a bit wary of the management now.

The ambience of this place is nice and theres ample area to park cars. Also, it is easily accessible. I have attended three receptions here but the last time had a horrible experience. Food was not being served adequately, even though the number of guests were very few. We had to wait over half an hour to get the next batch and we were the first ones having dinner. When we reported the issue, some person from the management went to the extent of threatening us and then brought the police to scare us. Luckily, the police helped us a lot. After paying a hefty amount as advance and booking before a year, no one expects this kind of horrible service. They did not apologize even once and tried to show their muscle......overall hideous experience.

I have attended three wedding receptions in this venue. I loved their arrangements. You have ample space to park your car. Its a nice place if you want to organize a function. Very well maintained.

Room booking receipt was not given to me instantly while I booked it.later I went to get it but failed.No wash room with dining hall.
