I have given it 4 stars only because of the friends I found here and the memories I made here, apart from that there are few teachers who are great. Before coming in 11th I thought I would be playing cricket but in senior secondary theres nothing for sports so keep this thing in mind before joining. In academics youll have to push yourself and thats somewhat fair.

The school library charges very high late fine from the students (at the end of academic year), especially from students of class 10 & 12. They charge ₹50 fine for one day delay. If you do not submit the late fine, they will not sign the no dues certificate. If you do not submit the no dues certificate, they we will not give you the admit card for board exams. So this is an entire plan of looting money from students by the school management. They charged whooping amounts of fine from students like ₹120, 200, 250 500, 600 and even till ₹800 etc. This malpractice is totally against the policy of CBSE.

Worst school.This school has wasted my whole +2 section. I am regretting after paying Rs 53000 and my monthly fees here.Out of 4 classes in a day there is hardly one or 2 and rest all day nothing only bunk. This happens 90 to 95% of the time and throughout the year.Teachers are not hard working towards students and will not solve much of the doubts after class plus there is no revision class and tests.

They charge 1000 Rs from the teachers who would like to apply for teaching positions. It seems they have no concern for the quality of teachers which impacts the quality of education ultimately. A qualified teacher doesnt need to pay a single penny to get a job. ALL THE BEST!!!

Reason is that its such a famous School but it does not conduct any test for unit exam for students of higher class. It just has a term 1 exam after 6 months and the another term 2 after 6 months and over !.It takes 2720 rupees monthly for +2 section and extra 2720 rupees lab fees even if it does not go to that once a year like due to covid I could not go to school but still I was charged to that.2. Further some of teachers there are always in some way to finish the syllabus early as fast as possible.✓✓But I must say that some ( only few) of the teachers there are very good they will teach you from the basics to high level like you will get in organic chemistry , sometimes physics and sometimes maths even depending upon the teacher you get.At last in terms of other extra curricular activities the school is good at celebrating the annual day and independence day public day and all festivals.I cannot say much for the discipline and infrastructure because to this covid period I cannot go to the school.And at last I must say that if you think how the school produces such a good result then you must be aware that the almost all of the students taking science join coaching because of which there percentage increases in boards and JEE in physics chemistry maths and biology and they only focus on the optional subjects like economics,English or so.3. But just think if it does not want to give jee or neet in +2 and just want to give boards and get good % then this school will not provide you anything extra as I said earlier this only focuses on the optional subject and rest all is the work of coaching but tose for not looking for any coaching like me are facing like they have wasted their money here.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND VALUABLE TWO YEARS OF YOUR SENIOR SECONDARY SECTION HERE.

Best school for Arts in Bihar-Jharkhand region. I dont know very well about other streams but the faculty of Arts are really very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful .They guide each and every student in the subject and equip them with knowledge and strategies required for achieving good marks in the boards examination.My personal experience - 1.JVM taught me to accept failures with a cheery smile . I was a constant high scorer till std 10th. When I went to JVM in std 11,I failed for first time in my life(In UT, sub-Eco coz teachers set the question paper literally of competitive exam level) but I was happy coz I wasnt alone, each and every student failed but everyone was happy.2.JVM taught me not to be very serious in life.Believe me if you are a nerdy student ,you wont be any more once you become Shyamalian.😅3.JVM gifted me a bunch of lovely friends.***The location of school in a place surrounded all over by green trees and serene nature is an additional privilege to study in JVM.😅Oh,I wrote a too long review,now I should stop.But I bet I can write 100 pages on JVM and my experience in the school.😅Lastly for student who are thinking to join JVM, I wound only say JA AUR JEE LE APNI JINDGI.😂

It is no better than any government school in terms of discipline.Students jump out of the boundry walls without any check.This school has gained popularity just because M.S. The teaching of physics in class 11and 12 is very bad in this school

This school has prepared me for life.Life is cruel, thankless, insensitive and regardless. Every day in this school made me learn these lessons through experience.Have you heard / experienced employees working in big IT corporates crib about how hollow and crude these organisations are and how life has become rugged and pointless since they started working there? That basically sums up my entire 13 years of experience with JVM Shyamli. With a big polished fame of successful student(s) and legacy, this institution looks top notch from the outside. The sad fact veiled behind each one of those achievers got out their owing to their own personal hard work and potential. With exception of a few faculty members, the entire system can be mildly compared with that of a corrupt government office. The staff is careless, as it is clearly indicative by other reviews on this page. Marks are the only standard for appreciation, discrimination between students is highly valued, academics is the only language achievement is spoken in, which is hilariously quite ironic to all the fame this school proudly absorbs owing to the undisputed celebrity who passed out of this school.Having managed to pass out of this institution , looking back, I realize how much I have missed out on a healthy schooling experience.In a nutshell, any educational institution which values books over education is not worth the time and energy, is all.
