One of the best places in Kolkata to get books on Astrology, Astronomy and other related subjects. The owner is very knowledgeable and his collection is astounding. Very educated and helpful person and his advice is a boon to book lovers of Kolkata. I would have loved to give this old book shop a five star rating. Due to lack of variety in all subjects under one roof, I sadly refrain from it. Highly recommended. Visible from road.

Talked to the veteran book seller just now. I have last visited his shop five years back when I was a student. It never happened that they could not deliver a book that I asked them. They are some of the rare species of book sellers who still exist and thrive in the world gradually dominated by online stores. I hope I can get my books that I am looking this time too.
