Please If youre going there beware of dog because the owner has a dog who always barking. And the second thing is that the rooms are quite expensive and the big thing is that this is not a Guest house its just a house that they give you on rent for a day to stay.

Beware of dogs here. It is a private house turned into guest house. Presence of dog is good for the security purposes, but I find it somewhat annoying. Otherwise services provided are good. Washrooms are provided with commode and geyser. Food available on paid basis. Located just near the EM bypass road. Easy to reach and find the location. Dont know about payment options because I stayed in company paid room.

The overall stay was very good. Everything was fine like the services, staff, room, location, nice place with cordial and 100% safety, secured and reliable services and in case of emergency- beyond any comparisons, etc. I would recommend this guest house to everyone specially for the people comming to India (Kolkata).

This certainly was beyond what I had expected. Homely, intimate and very conveniently located, this was perfect homecoming for us. The owners are nice and accommodative, the service is prompt and everything was well-organised. The house is fabulously decorated and has large common areas to sit and chat apart from the rooms which have nice balconies and are quite spacious. I think we have found a permanent address where I can just drop in anytime I need to travel to the city. Highly recommended.

The owners are the sweetest people! They own an apartment in another part of town that I rent for business stays. Once when the AC was out at the flat, they insisted I stay at the guest house for the night. Its a nice place with an attentive staff. The rooms are decorated with storied antiques and you get a real sense of immersion.

I stayed in Monorama Guest House with my family for three days recently. I have found the rooms neat and tidy. All the essential facilities are provided in the rooms. During my stay at the guest house I found that the room was clean. they include the food price in the bill itself. so no need to worry about eating out. they provided me breakfast , asked me for lunch. service quality was really nice. the lady that owns the guest house extremely generous and kind. overall it was a good experience staying there.

This place is no doubt a very good place to stay with a homely sensation, but the rate of lodging and also particularly the rate of lunch & dinner is too much high. The behaviour of all staff are very good.
