They have their own parking lot. The ambience was not that nice, at least for me as a foreigner who come there. The lighting was not proper and it kinda dark. There also peculiar aroma around this hotel and I found it.....spooky I guess.The staff wasnt that helpful either and you cant check in if its late.

Located on m.g. road kolkata, its one of the very old hotels in that area. OK ambiance and rooms. you may feel walking in a empty passage whening walking in hotel corridor. mean to say that it seems dark place. very good staff and service. my family members had been coming here since last 27 years. may be the reason for providing extra care to us as their customers. it also have a restaurant in name of girnar. in a way its a separate from hotel himalaya but you can have your food in room from here only. very good breakfast and lunch. you get all taste of food from gujarati thali to bengali dish and also continental. hotel is located near bura bazaar which is a textile hub for kolkata. so anyone who does busniess in here can have a best stay at this hotel. its a five star hotel for people who come to do business at moderate rate. for enjoyment you can choose else where.

Horrible stay, will never stay again. I booked for Deluxe AC room, when I got the room it was totally different from the ones shown in pictures. Then again I paid them extra to get a better room. Also wifi did not work for one day. Overall, worst experience of my life.

Third class hotel.staff behaviour is too bad.they accept advance booking , check in time they refused to give any room. If u have advance booking but any other person go to the hotel before u and paid cash to them for the same room ,they give booked room to that person and they said to u that they did not receive any booking confirmation from u. So be careful for advanced booking.

5 minutes walk to burrabazaar. Good food. Good service and staffs. Decent rooms. Room tarrif might seems little on higher side considering the rooms but could be justified by the location of hotel. Recommended for people coming to shop from burrabazaar.

Fantastic hotel to stay at. The rooms are spacious and neat. Service staffs are well behaved and responsive. I planned to stay here for one day but couldnt help extending my stay for one more day. Food quality is also superb and reasonably priced.

Nicely managed hotel. Staff are so kind. Jain and Pure vegetarian Food is available here with reasonable rate. Nearer to Howrah Railway station and Walking distance from The Mahatma Gandhi Metro station.

Located near Chittaranjan avenue mahatma Gandhi road crossing this is a family type hotel. Earlier the facilities were good but now due to poor maintenance and upkeep the hotel is losing its shine. The management have to take some quick action to restore its popularity.

I regularly stay in this hotel, find it a good hotel with nice staff with clean linens. My request to hotel management is to include breakfast as there teriff is higher side and many hotels (Hotel Esteem) are providing complementary breakfast in lower teriff, next they required to clean rooms wall and toilets properly, negligence are seen in housekeeping.

When I went there the hotel manager told that they gave that room to someother without even asking . I even confirmed my check-in . Even hotel owner misbehaved. Very bad experience. Worst hotel Ive stayed in my life. A client of mine booked this for us because their office was 200 metres away from the hotel. Interiors of the hotel are like youve travelled back in time to the 90s. Lift, room, cleaniness and just about everything of the hotel is pathetic. I have no clue why people pay 2k or more to stay here. This Hotel requires serious renovation to continue in future.

Rooms are clean, Staffs see cooperative, Simple Rooms as compared to price. Food is good. Offers Room Service and Laundary services too.
