Oyo 26243 Second House , Lake Market is a very good and well arranged hotel. Am a frequenter there. My observations are...1. Hotel authority changea staffs very feequently.2. New ataffasarw not that hospitable, and they are more mechanised and prtotype. Though ,I know they ara doing there duty only.3. Restaurant business ia not only a filling game its an art of feeding people with love and care to boost business nand reputation.4. Coat of food.......example: a cup of ordinary tea is costing Rs.53/- and a Tawa Roti (hand made) @Rs.45/ + GST..... Great.Though the order was not that.5 Ov eral stay was good except these.I know, this ia a quitwqlong and factual response and you dont like it either.Anyway, look forward for other opportunity.Thanks.

The room and the bed sheet were really of poor quality. The AC was not performing well. Cleanliness is an issue. They provide only veg food items. But one can order from outside. They are little slow in check in process. The intercom was also not working well.

This hotel is just for couples who come here for some hours. And you can witness n no of couples coming here just for few hours. But I never ever suggest this hotel to any family or business people who come here to stay and relax. If you order your lunch youll get your dinner. Thats how fast their service is. And whatever amenities put here in the list is not available. No laundry, no room service, no food you can order from outside, and the food they have in their hotel sucks.

Its good place for marketing. Communication is very good from this hotel. Hotels stuff behaviour is too good. As a hole its best 3 🌟 catagories hotel of South Kolkata. I am highly impressed with this hotel.

This place is calm quiet with soothing Indian and Western blues humming in background. Has big screen for projection of the upcoming World Cup. Food is nice. Not to pricy. A nice lit bar, and hookah bar has another space. Separate for dining area. Check out the photos.

A nice restaurant in the lanes near Lake mall, this place has a cozy vibe to it which was exponentially increased by the dim lighting, loud music and bar counter. I tried Indian dishes and some of them really stood out and they were well accompanied by the drinks provided to us. One of those places that provides Bira beer to its customers. Went here with some friends. Average decor. The lightnings too dark for my taste. Theyve got some really witty lines framed and hung on the wall; adds to the vibe.The food.We ordered bharwan tangri, these mind-blowing cheese and butter-coated stuffed chicken drumsticks with an equally finger-licking thick gravy of cashew-nut paste.We also ordered the bhatte ki daal with naan and cabana mushroom, which also had cheese and tasted heavenly.Last, we ordered a Shahi Tukda each. Probably the only item I didnt like as much. The bread was too hard but otherwise all good.Pleasant Surprise. They serve BIRA, both White and Blonde are available all the time. I dont know why it isnt mentioned in the Bar Menu. This alone should bring in the crowd.The service is a little slow, but Im hoping thatll improve with time.Highly recommended though👍

Got this place at a very cheap price and amenities of the place is simply the best part and the hotel is as comfortable as you would expect it to be . Surely one of the best Oyos in Kolkata . The hotel staff is also very generous . Enjoyed our stay at this place . Lift is also available the only thing is that outside food is not available but there are nearby many restaurants and mall and market so that wont be a problem you do not need to travel far to get good food. So overall a perfect experience.

3 stars for the property. 1 extra for the courteous staff. You arent allowed to carry in any food from outside. The in-house restaurant is tad on the expensive side. Also, while the menu looks great, the food is bland.

This place is located behind Lake Mall and serves mouth watering starters and liquors at amazing offers that can be availed from Monday to Friday.I had tried the following vegetarian items :Amritsari Paneer TikkaPaneer Khazana KoftaCabana MushroomBhatti Ki DalShabnam Ke MotiButter NaanShahi TukdaBeing a fan of mushrooms, Id definitely pick the Cubana Mushroom over any other item.Also, Bhatti Ki Dal is a recommendation.Overall experience was good enough considering I did not try any of the cocktails.

Slightly delayed with the review but better late than never. Good place overall. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Convenient location and good locality. Good food in the restaurant and even the complimentary breakfast had a good spread.I have been travelling a lot and have been a constant customer of OYO. Its located in southern avenue just in the lane after rashbehari crossing towards Tollygunge.This is one the very few places in Calcutta which serves both bira white and blonde. The food and ambience is amazing. They also serve hookahs.I would highly recommend the bharwa tangri.. it was wow!

Not much up-to oyo expectation.. Location is good.. But they got overbooked and even if one confirmed booking, there was a wait of 15 mnts before availability.. room condition was not that good.. small room/,bathroom, AC remote not working..For couples, privacy is maintained..hope they improve the arrangements

It is located 2mins walking distance from rashebhari metro station.Ambience with low light wall surrounded with wity lines will uplift your mood.staff were courteous and service was quick.food were delicious.Bar menu consist of different offers...Best part was both beer blonde and beer white was available.I will definitely visit this place again to taste delicious food.

Nice Place and hotel also good. Staff is very friendly.rooms and bathroom are cleaned. Food is so testy. Couples with local id is accepted here. most important is breakfast is given to your room. you should go to the hotel(oyo) and take food by yourself,threre was a buffet breakfast system.

Good joint for drinks. Value for money as most of the offers were buy 2 get 1 . There is excellent live music on Friday evening.Songs good, dont know his name. However some may find the place too noisy due to the live show going on.

A moderately priced hotel near late market, kalighat, Kolkata. The location is very central, near to lake Mall and other markets. The hotel has huge rooms and aminities. Its like a home away from home. The food is also good. Specially the fish fry and other fish dishes.Its worth staying there if visiting Kolkata.

Spacious large room.most immportently its near kalighat metro or rasbhihari crossing. Hastle free stay can be possible with oyo. But one thing i must say d resurent is not up to d mark.its ovarated as well as over expensive

Very bad experience with this hotel. AC was not working properly very noisy and vibrated . Dirty curtains, no room servicing and cleaning during my stay, bathrooms window was broken, running water also stopped during my shower, telephone not working. You have to go to the reception to order your dinner. TV was there but no set of box or cable connection. Food was good but costly.. I dont know why this hotel consider as a flagship hotel of oyo.. where lots of good hotel was there in oyo which is much more better than this hotel.

Based on price, the hotel was good. I stay there for almost 1 month. I am having single room. The option of food are limit but the test of food was good. There is no gym so only way to fit to run outside. It is nearby Kali ghat temple in walking distance. The other issue is network. The whole area has weak network connection. They have wifi but musr of time not working. The network of Airtel is so poor and vodafone and jio are okay. It is nearby lake mall in 2 min distance.

Good place for having booze at reasonable price... Located behind Lake Mall... Decent food... Good service... Ambience is dark with loud music... Staffs need some more training... Pocket pinch is quite acceptable 😊

The ambience of this place was lit! Specially during the durga puja time when all the restaurants were full, we got comfortable seats here without having to wait. The food was really good and tasty. The drinks are reasonably priced.

Located near the lake market. You can easily go there through lake road. Saying about the place is that the place is costly showing but the food quality is very poor. All amounts are very high but you would get very less. Ambience is good and thats all for them.

Visited this bar to celebrate my birthday along with some family. I found the staff friendly, the food tasty and the prices competent. We ended up having a good time and Ill be eager to come again whenever I next visit Kolkata. Guaranteed good time of youre on a budget.

Very nice and clean hotel to stay there for 3-4nights. Beds are cozy and staffs are very nice and friendly. Very close to lake Mall and kalighat metro. Only drawbacks I have found in 301 room, water cloggs at bathroom. They regularly change towels. Complementary breakfast is available. Mini bar also available at restaurant.

Went for a friends marriage to kolkata, stayed here for 4 days the place is very nice. The rooms are clean and the staff is very good and the food is also good.
