The tavern is a nice secluded place in an alley with a lot of room inside. Apart from serving just as a cafe it can host a decent gathering for get togethers and family outings. The place is very clean and the interior decor has a freshness to it. The food is very good and the menu has a good blend of western and oriental dishes. Price is a little on the higher side. Overall i would say it is a place you can visit if you have a budget of 600 for two

6 months lockdown and homemade food made me tired of life. Then Suddenly I decided to visit The Tavern Cafe which was there in my bucket list for so long. Being a North Kolkatan, I was never reluctant to visit Cafes and Restaurants of South Kolkata. Keeping in mind of Cafe Culture, this one literally stole my heart with its ambience, decor and wallpapers!All hygiene protocols are being maintained along with constant sanitization and use of masks by staffs. Vistors are also not allowed without mask and sanitization will be done again before entering the place.Staffs are enough courteous and served us in proper time. They helped us with placing order using mobile scanner as we were totally new to this system during covid time.We were served with1. Chicken Olivetti - I found it to be the continental version of Chicken Pasinda. It is one of their signature dishes.2. Pepper Fish - This one just stole my heart. It was not less than the showstopper among all. Must try I say!3. Mixed Suace Veg Pasta with Garlic bread- The good part of the pasta sauce was, it dint get sticky though we had it after a long time it was served.4. Meat Lovers Pizza - This was like any other Meat Lovers Pizza we had. It was okayish.5.Paprika Grilled Chicken with herbed rice & veggies - It was tender with a droolworthy aroma . Must try from their menu.6. 3 treasure Noodle with Chilli Chicken - It was something new to me. Liked it!7. Egg Fried Rice with Chilli Basa Fish - Being a Basa lover, I just loved this one! The cafe has an awesome ambience which will draw your attention when you move in followed by it is their staff behaviour which is very polite.Now coming to their food quality its good presentation is awesome and at last but not the least the most important thing in todays time is sanitization and safety measures which is properly maintained in the cafe so you dont have to worry about that.In this pandemic situation they are also providing their own free delivery option.

The place was so quiet. Had a very warm ambience. The food was delicious. We tried the ham and cheese sandwich, french fries, cold coffee and mango flavoured mocktail. They even offered some complimentary caramel custard which was unexpectedly nice. All the food were fresh, the meat was juicy and delicious! The employees were very courteous and warm.Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again!

This is a very lovely cow boy themed cafe. The ambience is really very nice and plesant.. A perfect place to have some quality time with your loved one and also to chill out with friends. Now come to the food. Their GREEN MARTINI was really good and a very good combination with the yummy Dry chilly chicken. I also tried their CHICKEN STEAK which was fantastic. They also serve a very yummy Brownie Delight. The sitting arrangement is good. A pocket friendly place.

Cute pocket friendly cafe tucked in a quiet lane near Lords crossing..Both the tavern special baked chicken and tavern special Oreo cake were recommended by them. Both were lipsmackingly good!!Would definitely recommend for a yummy meal!!

This place is a hidden gem. Found it while walking towards Jodhpur park from Lords more and its fantastic. Its located in a small by lane and not easy to locate from the outside however once you enter this place you get it see a small but cosy interior with a good ambience. The service is prompt and people are polite. They are doing temperature checks and are pretty neat and tidy. I had mango coolers along with flavoured mohito and I have to say after a long time tasted just fabulous mocktails. Way to go. Will definitely visit again.

The ambience was great, decorations was perfect and accurate to its name Taveran. But when it comes for food I woill not support because what I expected was something they served something. I ordered for triple fried rice I thought it will be three different coloy and three different taste I asked the service person he said yes but when it came it was asian fusion triple frice atleast he should have guided me but later on I complained and Chef Hirak came and rectified it and the rice he serve me was delicious. Kung pao chicken was nice, even cheese garlic bread was not too tasty rather the bread was soagy, pasta was nice again for desert I ordered for one vanilla icecream with hot chocolate sauce and kitkat shake from which angle it was kit kat shake I didnt under stand and from which angle it was vanilla ice-cream with hot sauce ...

It is a cute café located near the Lords more. The interiors are beautiful and the food is amazing given the price for it. The quantity of each portion was enough too. The staff too were courteous. We tried Fish Orly, Grilled fish in lemon sauce, mango shake, pizza, brownie with Ice cream and Tavern Special oreo cake. All the items are highly recommended from my side.

The place is wonderful and has a wonderful and a romantic ambience. They also provide candlelit meals for Valentines day. It has a cow-boy like ambience to it with pictures of cow-boys on walls, sheriff hats hanging on the walls and so on. And the old rustic wall-like appearance in the interiors of the cafe is wonderful. It is not too pocket-friendly perhaps , but the meals they prepare and give are worth the money. The staff are generous too. Their add of uniqueness to the flavors of the dishes is quite appreciable.

Went to Tavern Cafe yesterday, the ambience is too good. Its a quaint place.The cafe is splited into three rooms , I sat on the smoking zone area where there is a swing as well. The service of the staffs are a bit slow. The quantity and quality of food is good. I tried Darjeeling Tea, Cheese and Ham sandwich and Cheese and Chicken Omlette.However their signature dish is Pork Platter consist of Pork Ham, sausages, with two slices of garlic bread mashed potato and egg poach.Highly recommendable.!!

Have been hearing rave reviews about The Tavern Cafe for the past one year but never had an opportunity to visit the same till date - god knows why!! Hence, when I bychance spotted the cafe today evening while driving - had to stop and drop in for the #first time finally even though I was not at all hungry..Loved the quirky wild west themed interiors & the more chilled out outdoor section as well.. The place is nice. But you might experience claustrophobia there as its too compact. The interiors are pretty and there is a swing too. Also, the cafe has a collection of board games, which one can play. Apart from this, the service was kind of slow and the staff had trouble managing nicely in crowded environments. Some of the food items were good, but others were not so. In addition to this, the cafe couldnt provide a lot of the items from the menu because they had apparently ran out of those.Hence its an okayish place for a food junkie, but a good place for a gang looking to hang out.

Great place for a quick hangout session with friends. Located near South City Mall, this place serves good food. The service is quick and the staffs are well behaved. The quanrity and quality are great. If you r planning to vist, then do try out the chicken olliveti and Oreo cake. The brownie were not certainly not that great.

A cafe situated in a quaint lane in prince anwar shah road near Lords more,though theres no parking facility but the lane in front is place one can park the car provided its vacant as its always quite full.So after entering the place theres a place with a swing and two tables with a quirky lamp and wall stickers, though theres no air conditioner in that part but the part ahead have tables and AC too.Coming the service it took them 30 mins to serve just the appetizer (cheese garlic bread) which tasted like a typical egg and bread together nothing like the way cheese garlic bread tastes.Then after another 10 minutes, came the main course which was grilled chicken with Sauteed veggies and mash potatoes which tasted to bland, the chicken breasts were too lean and the mash potatoes which is a very simple thing to make was tasteless and the veggies, oh they lacked everything. An hour for the service and this food, couldve been far more better.

This is @thetaverncafe located at Lake Gardens, near Lords Crossing. The ambience is quite good and the decor gives it a homely feeling. They have both AC and Non-AC areas. These pictures are from Non-AC area and I liked the decorations of their Non-AC place more than the AC rooms they have. A bookshelf and a lovely swing makes that place more beautiful ❤️. ..We ordered one Peri Peri Chicken Pizza 🍕 which is one of their top dishes and two Lime Sodas🥤🥤[Swipe left to see the images]. Visited here a few days back on valentine day, quite amazed were we by their decorations and ambience, its a really chill out and nice place to hang out, ordered bbq chicken manchurian fish and chicken noodles with mango cooler, all of the stuffs tasted great, but the manchurian fish was too spicy, it made our tears flow, nice cafe make a visit once.

Tucked in the bylanes of South Kolkata this little cafe will steal your heart with its cozy ambience and soothing decor..they have both Chinese and continental on their menu..really liked their fish in cheese sauce and chicken wings..To complete the fun quotient they have a number of board games and also a swing to pose for pictures.

I ordered Fish and Chips, Mixed Sauce Pasta and Mango Shake.Fish and Chips- I ordered Basa Fish (which was priced Rs. 250). The outer crust was crispy and had light mustard taste. The fish was soft and fresh. You can also choose Bhetki, however, it will cost you extra.Mixed Sauce Pasta- It was cooked to perfection. The sauce was well balanced and the veggies were not overcooked.Mango Shake- One of the best Mango Shake I had in a long time. Was not very sweet and had a soothing taste, although would suggest you to finish it up while its still cold.

So, this place is segmented into three seating areas with ample space, being able to cater to the likes of a full-on adda session of a group of friends to romantic dates aided by the cozy, face-to-face, couple seating arrangements! Its not just the food thats good, but the decor and the ambience is aesthetically pleasing for a soul! The music here is a mishmash with Camila Cabello playing on the background at times to some Bollywood hits too. Honestly, I Would Recommend Everyone To Visit This Cafe. We recently ordered for grilled fish is lemon butter sauce and wow the packaging and the delivery was just wow. It was a contactless delivery. The delivery boy called us and kept the packet just outside our gate in a clean place. The amount was transferred online. So in total we had complete contactless experience with Cafe and delivery boy. Thank You for such amazing food and perfect packaging and superb delivery

This place is located in Lords More and is a very cozy and comfortable place. This cafe provides both indoor and outdoor seating. Cozily lit and the food served is really good. Apart from the main seating area, there is also a lounge type seating for a fairly big group of people. The decor of this place is mostly of the american taverns that we get to see. With cowboy hats and Wild Wild West posters, this cafe kind of brings the tavern feel.
