One of the best budgeted hotels in Kolkata which is very near to the Airport and on the VIP road which connects to the rest of the city. Dumdum metro station and railway station is around 3 Kms and you easily get public transport to reach their and move to other parts of the city faster. The hotel offers a complete bouquet of facilities like 24/7 Coffee Shop, Restaurant cum Bar, a Pub and a convention center for business meetings. So if it is a business trip or a tour to the city of joy with family one can opt for this hotel. The rooms are good with all basic amenities like AC, Geyser, Mini Bar, Mineral Water, Laundry service and 24/7 room service. One can get clean room and washroom along with it. The food at the restaurant is very good and prices are okay with a hood portion size. The pub is Drunken Monkey and they offer good drinks and music. The staff are very hospitable and customer centric. Cabs are easily available at this place of the city as it is on the VIP road and traveling is not a challenge. Verdict: Best budgeted hotel around Airport for stays with family or for business.

Nice medium sized hotel on main road to Kolkata airport. About 2 km from the airport. Clean and comfortable. Has a restaurant , a bar , lift and room service. Staff is competent and eager to serve. Specially suitable for business travelers especially those taking flights.

Good hotel, especially if you are in transit and want to stay overnight. O2 VIP is not even 2 km from the airport. You can reach the airport within 5 minutes on normal time and in peak time you need another five minutes. Rooms are neat and decent. The morning complimentary breakfast also has varieties of veg items. Only one non veg (chicken sausages) is made available. Staff are friendly and courteous. Though we reached the hotel by 12:30 am we received a warm welcome.

Hii..I stayed in this hotel first time and I found its very good in sense of cleanliness,hospitality ,rates and above all its too near from airport .i strongly recommend this hotel specially if someone has to catch early morning flights.

Small room but clean linens and floors. All electrical plugs are very old &difficult to place charger also to the plugs .Good &coperative staffs .

Efficiently managed , Courteous staff, neat and clean, good food.

It is much closer to the airport..rooms were good and clean and the staff was well behaving. and the they were providing a good and fast service. no problem regarding check in and check out. it was all good.

A decent hotel, located close to the airport. Have stayed there a few times. On this trip, though, there was a rather strong smell of probably lemon-grass used as an air freshener, both in the room as well as in the elevator. The bathroom fittings are still good, but need some slight repair. Overall, a good experience.

Its location is good as its located very close to airport. so perfect for overnight stay and still be able to catch an early flight. I was put up in 6th floor that was not accessible by Elevator. that was the only con i found. food was great and little costly I suppose. but rooms are decent.

The Major advantage is the proximity of this hotel to the Kolkata Airport. I needed a drop to the airport at 4am and they arranged for the same on a chargeable basis of Rs 300 only. The front office staffs are courteous. Neat and clean hotel.

This is my 2nd time stay at O2. We stayed at room no-2201 on 30.01.2021. We have faced very uncultured behaviour from nearest room No-2205. Some drunken people were creating very loud noise at night 3.00 am which disturbed our sleep. Next day i had a flight to jorhat. So overall experience was very bad this time. Hope team O2 will take necessary action against such people.

All needed amenities including kettle, tea/coffee, free mineral water, safe locker, mini fridge, toilet kit, good wifi connection, TV with cable connection, cupboards, lots of power points, lift are there. The room is not that big but enough for two people. A minus point is that the plaster of wall and roof were peeled here and there. It was not a problem though. Could not have food from there restaurant only had quick breakfast as our flight was at 6 in the morning. They served breakfast in the lobby. It includes sandwich, butter cookies, banana, juice tea, coffee etc.

Yesterday opted this place to stay as was here for short trip need to take a morning flight to Agartala. Hotel is very near from Airport and if have no luggage even can walk. Room size is small but equipped with all modern amenities like LCD TVs with cable connection tea coffee maker Wi-Fi. Neat sheets towels and very clean bathroom with glass partition for shower. Breakfast just ok. Staff is helping. Hotel rack rates are very higher so if you book through online portals like Goibibo  then can get at attractive budget price....
