IDBI, a public sector bank is a wonderful mix of the best of both worlds...the public sector banks and private banks like ICICI etc. I banked for a couple of years with the Sector-V Salt Lake branch and it was always a pleasure to interact with their staff ... courteous, efficient and above all extremely client-friendly. Recently I started banking with their Bansdroni branch and a couple of visits to them has re-confirmed to me the old saying, It is the man behind the machine that counts. Any branch is only as good as the people who man it. Sector V Branch could easily be a benchmark.

I came here to make a demand draft for my college fees. I submitted all the documents at 10:10 am and they asked me to wait for 10 minutes for the processing may take no longet than that. I waited till 11:20 and throughout I only saw them chattimg with each other and even Dancing! Such horrible irresponsible system. I kept on telling them that i need to submit it by 11:30. I have never ever seen such irresponsible people delaying work just becuase they dont have any.

It was a good branch... but most of the old staffs has been changed. New staffs r worthless. Make u feel that they r making a favour on you. Staffs r using mobile phone with loud voice. Plz make some discipline.
