I like their lassi. Thick and not too sweet. Had that and tried a new item today, rather funnily named Dry Rosogolla. It is made by squeezing out some juice from the rosogolla, then rolling it in a mixture of grated coconut and notun gur (The seasonal jaggery of winter). The result is not bad for those who look for variety, though the gur wasnt apparent.
This outlet is one of the better sweet shops in and around the vicinity of Barasat. Most of the sweet items are tasty and hygienic although quite a few of them are overpriced. The mango lassi available there is awesome. Also, there are always new sweet items in the offing.
Fully vegetarian and sweet shop. And quality of sweet and snacks are very good.
Good shop for sweets. However Bengali sweet variety is poor.
