Had a really splendid experience with the mind-blowing taste of food,even after this great pandemic.The food quality has been maintained and the prices are also moderate.A nice place to meet up with friends and families.A good food joint,I will recommend to all for both Chinese and continental.Specially the star of desert is darshana which they named it,which is hot molten chocolate brownie with the vanilla icecream topping which is the one desert,one must try.The schewan fied rice,the green chilli chicken,the Korean gravy chowmein,mixed fried rice and the hongkong chicken are ones I tried out and they did taste brilliant.

This place has a soft corner since years. Since my school days post tuition classes I used to visit with my friends. They have upgraded now with A.C sitting but the taste of there food is the same which shows the continuation of their legacy. Im a fan of there chicken Lasagne and still make sure to have it with other dishes.

Good Food and prompt service makes the experience as smooth as it was a decade back. To be able to retain the same old lip smacking quality of food is in itself a fabulous achievement.

Really amazing quality of food served here.. One of the best mixed thukpa served in the town! The chicken sizzler was damn tasty with tender pieces of chicken served in a delicious gravy along with sautéed veggies and French fries (the fries couldve been a tad crispier), even though it was really bang for the buck!! Lastly, the gravy noodles tasted great at the same time being quite sumptuous!

Located in Garaihat Golpark opposite to Ramakrishna Mission, this is a roadside air-conditioned dhaba serving inter alia continental and chinese dish. We had chicken steam momo, chilli mushroom dry, mixed meifoon and chicken tetrazini with cheese and spagheti. Momo and chilli mushroom was good, but the meifoon and spagheti was average. Price is in the range of moderate to high. Ambiance was good and they had a big tv screen playing ipl matches. It was moderately crowded on a sunday evening. But the actual turn down factor is the waiting time as they prioritize online orders. We had to wait for a long time for the food. So, it is particularly suited for a long adda over food.

We sisters are too much foodie🤤so planned for going to eat CHINESE FOOD and this place is undoubtedly a very good choice for us for gossiping over the delicious food. So I’ve ordered from my most favourite Chicken steam momos😋 then fried rice and chilli chicken for my sisters. Trust me food was melted my heart😍. The prices are affordable and quality is top notch. The best items to try is the CHILLI PRAWN DRY, MIXED FRIED RICE, CHILLI CHICKEN DRY. These 3 items will rock your taste buds right out. The momos are awesome too as thats what got the grub club started in the food business... Please dont order online... Do try it in the restaurant as the fresh it is the tastier it will be. 3 people can eat their tummies full within ₹500.

Try out their special fried rice!I just ordered and had their special fried rice. It was so tasty and had adequate quatities of chicken, prawn and mushroom. The rice tastes nice. Oil is less. It feels healthy. Rice seems to be a must try!Along with the rice, they sent me 2 papads and a full bottle of veg mayonnaise. I donot have any idea why they sent me a large, full bottle. But it feels good anyways :)

I donno what to say about the food and staff of the place. It has completely detoriated and very bad mannered now. This was a goto place during my college days and now after 8-9 years this place has changed so badly. The food quality has gone down the manager and the waiter working there have become very impolite. Like these I have some of the old joints in south Kolkata going in bad shape and this is the reason new cafes are taking good name. The food is not cooked properly not served properly. I don’t recommend this place at all.they gave us burned cheese pizza and literally argued to have it. Then the chicken wasn’t washed properly and cooked I could see blood stains in the lollipop. Fish quality is awesome. Especially chilli fish and fish finger. Prawn noodles has copious amount of prawns. I love the place.

Have been going to this place since I was a little kid. Have seen this place literally rising,from having seats under four huge umbrellas till today when its an ac restaurant! The only reason why we loved coming here has always been the authentic Chinese taste,the quantity and the good pricing. But yes on my last visit I was left a bit disappointed as I did not get that taste,we ordered simple Gravy Noodles, Fried rice with 2 side dishes , Chilli garlic lamb and Sweet and sour chicken. But both the noodles and the rice did not taste good as it used to be, the noodles had a very strong flavour if cabbage! The vegetables were cut in different style,basically chopped up,the gravy was extremely runny! The fried rice was better than the noodles though,but not like before. Both the side dishes were good,the chicken had 1 or 2 tough pieces but taste and overall was good. Lamb was too good. Good food,extremely casual ambiance and quite pocket friendly pricing makes it quite attractive for young crowds specially. My only request to the owner would be that take a look into the taste of the food ,and guide your chefs to bring back that old taste that we used to get here.

However, now they have kept it very similar but just made it into ac restaurant and visited it recently. Had been going to this place since 2011. It has been one of the best road side eateries since those days. It was an open restaurant then, and the tree trunk growing through the dining room all the way up where it vanishes in the restaurant ceiling remained the hallmark of this place since then. And with the passing days this even became the identification mark of the place along with its delicious food. On recent visit i have seen this place turned into an Air Conditioned closed door type dine in place. However the tree trunk still reminds of its good old days when we used this place mostly as a HANG OUT with addas and gossips, with the honkings of the passing vehicles, and then an eatery, as does its food quality. Well its a pocket friendly restaurant still. But people with cars and bikes should find it difficult to park their vehicles nearby as the whole area is towing zone. But ask the service guys of the restaurant and they are courteous enough to direct you to a safe parking spot. I have had my experiences both, good & bad. Now coming to the food its exquisite. Momos are just WOW, and you should also try various combos. I am sure you will have a gala time there.

This place is located near Golpark, opposite Ram krishna mission.. It is a small cosy restaurant.. Prices are extremely cheap.. We ordered egg chicken noodles, chicken with baby corn and vegetables, fried rice and Manchurian chicken combo and noodles, Manchurian chicken and wonton combo.. The entire amount was about Rs800, which is extremely less for so much food.. A good place to visit with friends or family..

This place on Southern Avenue near Golpark crossing is fabulous. Its ambience is nice, well decorated and has lot of spaces maintaining social distance norms. Patrons can visit without any fear of pandemic infection. We had lunch with Chicken Chow and a Chicken dish with lot of vegetables in white sauce preparation . ( Forgot the exact name). As starter we had Chicken Spring Roll. All the dishes were superb in taste and quantity too is more than adequate for two persons. All dishes are reasonably priced and is worth a repeat visit. Service also is very good and waiter person happily helped us to decide our choice. Thanks to him we had a great meal. The only issue is absence of wash room which the authorities may like to resolve. Overall its a very nice experience.

What I like about it is the fact that it is a no frills attached place that focussed on tasty, fresh comfort good, the chicken lollypop, honey chicken, dry Chili chicken, lat me kai are my favorites here for many years..They have been a favorite hangout at a really budgeted price

If you really miss your college canteen, Grub Club is surely the best place for you. The same ambience surrounded by college goers. location is superb.Quality of food has worsened greatly. We ordered a wide range of food but was disappointed with most of them. We ordered chicken drumsticks, chicken lollipop in honey sauce, fish fingers, konji crispy chicken, fish fry, fish in wine sauce, mixed chowmein, mixed rice and one more fish item (forgot the name).Among all these items, Konji Crispy Chicken was best in starter category and Mixed Rice was best in main course. The Konji Crispy Chicken was not crispy at all but very soft and juicy, made from bonless chicken leg/thighs and tossed in a tasty sauce. The rice was tasty, well flavoured, really light and refreshing.Both fish finger and fish fry was worst. No seasoning or flavour and absolutely dull. There was no honey in chicken lollipop with honey sauce, it was all raw sugar and clearly visible. Crispy chicken was same as fish. Chowmein was very ordinary and the fish main courses was almost similar in taste except the color.

A great place to be honest where u get some very tasty dishes in affordable prices. They also prepare few shakes, mango shake being the most popular. Dry chilly chicken is highly recommended.

Its one of those places you can visit with your loved ones, without a plan. The best answer to a sudden craving when youre around Southern Avenue and a little low on cash. Their crispy chilly potato is an absolute delight. Make sure you pour some soy on top. However, Id avoid anything remotely Italian.

The noodles here is pretty good. I like spending time here. The noodles is the only thing till now I have tasted here. So need to visit again soon to try the others dishes.

Weekends are kind of a little crowded over here. We went in for a quick bite, so tried just two items off the menu:1. Steamed momos (non-veg) - 3⭐️[5pcs. in a plate with a bowl of soup and the spicy dip. The soup was a disappointment, the momos themselves had adequate meat in them]2. Fish finger - 3⭐️[6pcs. in a plate, a little on the bland side]Its a prepaid service, so you order at the counter and wait at your table with the receipt. The waiter attending the table will get your stuff according to the receipt. Weekends see a lot of footfall, so getting a table might be an issue. Pretty spacious.An overall 3⭐️. I wouldnt mind visiting this place again.

Firstly I would like to mention that the food QUALITY is AMAZING but if you want to know the serving standards of the waiters they are absolutely not upto the mark the people who are serving are really slow and you have to wait for the food atleast 45-50 mins after you order and waiting for food is something I personally dont like and also if you want to order anything else after you are done having th first thing you ordered it almost takes another 45 mins more so you have to atleast give 3-4 hours of your precious timef you want to have some good full course meal.. thats it however the food quality is awesome and amazing tasty food available.. Ive been here countless number of times since I moved to Calcutta in 2012 because of the wide variety of food they serve. The quality and quantity is ALWAYS good. The Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes are all good, especially on your wallet.

Mixed Thukpa is an inherently soupy dish, which, in essence needs to be served in a container. Otherwise advertise very plainly that customers taking Thukpa should bring their OWN CONTAINERS. But who would explain all that to the person taking the order? Inr 10 for a container is not much. But then how are we to take the Thukpa - on our heads??? Please then include price of container in the price.
