One of the Best Buffet in Kolkata..First of all the menu changes per day but the quality remains unchanged..the starters are served on table..main course and dessert in buffet..the food is amazing and ambience is extraordinary.. recommend to book before..

Nicely decorated place with tasty food. The nonveg buffet price is 549 per head. It might seems too costly but the items are very good, price worthy. I dont say all the items are 10/10 but can sure say some are more than 10 out of 10 and very few are less than 10. Both starter and main course are great!

Ambience is good , a perfect place to enjoy buffet. Food was delicious and value for money , service was good. Staff should work on their hospitality services , as we were asked to shift to another table while having our food. This was highly unexpected .

We had lunch there and it was great, specially the starters were delicious and there was so many options to choose from, infact your belly would be filled with starters only.Main course was also nice but show stealers were starters and desserts. If you get bored eating in Barbeque Nations for multiple times then you can try it for a change. However, NO comparison with B-Nations. They have same way of limited yet tasty starters and ends with buffet lunch with all varities you can think of. Pocket friendly when compared with B-Nations. I dont know where all visitors are parking!! I was lucky to remove a cycle a distant and made my space. Otherwise, office goers in sector V, its easy, stone throw distance from sector V offices - in the Boulevard road. Never tasted the Chai though. For me, I never felt to visit it second time.

Went for their buffet. Starters were yumm and in a lot quantity and variety. Main course was less in numbers but taste is awesome especially the Biriani and tender mutton. Dessert was only 4 types but again taste was good. Overall nice experience amd ambiance was good.

Food was not good. Fish and Chicken starters were good. I didnt like the main course. Food is cold over there. Starters will be available upto 3:30PM and food 4Pm. We booked through Dineout and it was not mentioned that Starters will not be available after 3:30PM. Bad experience.

This is one of my go to places! Their hookah is good. The food is amazing! Their buffet spread is extensive.They play consistently good music and the service is great as well. Value for money!The only complaint is that their washroom is not the best. Other than that, this place is great!

Want Hookah and good food, here you can experience and enjoy loud music and ready to pay huge bill as well, their menu have limited item like beverages , food item and each one of them cost you more than ₹300 , i had ordered a mocha ₹220 and vegetable lasagne which costed me around ₹450, although taste was awesome , good filling and nicely baked but they should work on their pricing as it is very high for a normal hangout, their beverages are not so good , sometimes more water into it , you can have a good time in their sofa kind of sitting arrangement, wall decoration is also pretty attractive and 😗😄👍 hookah section is in a different room full of smoke and loud music ! The prices of hookah was pretty high as in for flavours ,, overall rating -4/5💓😃 for good interior and food !

I was here for a event sponsored by LG, but Tbvh I am impressed with their service and the quantity of food they provide and also the tastes really really good.

Expected a lot from chai break but overall experience was average. One dish(prawn curry) from main course was smelling very badly. Otherwise starter and main course was fine. The main disappointed was dessert section. Only 3 or 4 kind of desserts were available. It could be their policy because I visited there on weekdays. Anyway the price of the buffet was affordable and thats a positive.

Its been long and Ive been a visiting this particular cafe for a long time. I really like this place. The ambience is good & the lightings really great, goes well with the hookah area.The place is really good to relax and chill with your buddies over a hookah and food.Great variety of dishes are served here. Includes chicken and fish too.Pizzas are really good here. They cook it so well.I had 4 toppings thin crust Pizza, that was topped with tossed onions, mushrooms, tomato and olives. And a bit of cheese added to it. Tasted so good must say.Even the dining area has really nice decoration and also a big projector thats telecasts different sports. So you can just come here, enjoy your food with your favorite sports and also enjoy some drinks ( carry your 21+ Id proof ).

Firstly, I had already booked 2 hrs back. After arrival the guy looked through the list and didnt find my name written which proves they didnt even book in the first place. As usual, went in and saw all the sofas were reserved. They made us seat on 2 feet high seats which were too uncomfortable to sit and eat. The food was also not upto the mark. Overall it was not at all a good experience I did nt expect this at all from chai break

Great place, we went up there with my friends in afternoon for a buffet. They provide you with thousands of starters which you cannot end up with all. Then comes the main meal with different dishes including chicken mutton and fish.

Have to change my review after the incident that I faced today. I had quite a positive feedback about this place but the quality degraded significantly. Service is too slow. When they have been informed in advance that the headcount will be around 20, still theyre not prepared beforehand. The restaurant manager is not much bothered to attend the concern of the customer. Still it was Ok. But, the real surprise was the condition and the food hygiene.Even I didnt believe initially when we have spotted 3-4 cockroaches roaming freely in the desert and and as well as food plates. And when we brought in to their notice, they hurriedly replace the item. So unfortunately I didnt get chance to take a snap of that. Its quite shocking and restaurant manager didnt say much except saying just sorry. I asked him in blantant that, if someone fall sick after consuming this food would you take the responsibility? And he didnt have any answer. So I thought I should bring into everyones notice about the scenario as well as to the management.

This place is literally awesome(About the buffet)...Food here is delicious.The price is completely worth compared to the quality of food provided.Various kinds of Kebabs(Chicken, Fish, paneer), fritters, Pizza , Chaat (not as good) etc..are present here. Definitely try those , especially the chicken kebabs , coz they are awesome. Also try their Crispy Baby Corn(its delicious). Now coming to the main course , it consists of several items ,some are prepared daily and some are prepared based on the wish of the Chefs.Consists of Biryani , Malai Prawn, Paneer, Noodles, Dal Makhani, Mutton, Basa fish prepared in various sauces. Definitely try the fish and the mutton (recommended), Malai Prawn(mandatory ,its just delicious).Also a few types of salads , dips, chutneys are present which could be tried . Now about the desert. Gulab Jamuns , Short cakes, various types of sweets ,Ice Cream are present.Especially try the Baked Mihidana(if present, as they are made occasionally ) and the Rosh malai and Short cakes . Also call them beforehand as their menu changes daily. Aso try to reserve the place beforehand using dineout app or from the other sources to get maximum discount. Reaching the location is also quite easy . Just reach the RDB and u will find the place clearly as it is located beneath the RDB . Overall this is place is awesome to visit considering the price. Soo Just Go For ITT !!!..(U WONT REGRET IT).

Came here for the 1st time.They have plenty of starters.Wings,baby corn ,kababs, potato wedges,fish fingers, cheese balls.All are good.In the main course they have biriyani,mutton dish, noodles,fish in white sauce,breads,pizza,soups,salads,veg items like panner,chole,dal makhani etcDesserts they have are sandesh, chomchom,ice cream and few other items.Food is good. Plenty of items.I liked the starters more than the mains.The masala cola is simply fab.Its a crowded places as its nor rdb and cheap. 500 for buffet. They have alcohol too.

Food quality normal price for buffet is little bit higher side according to the quality and quantity. Service is late for big group. For starters gravy item is more that fried item. Sitting arrangements is not up to the mark. For bar its ok, but for food its normal. Parking is far from entrance.

Can book a table through dineout app to get exciting discounts. The ambience is perfect.It servers 12 types of starters, that are served at the table itself and you can even ask to repeat them once all the 12 items are served.There are papri chat, chicken hariyali, chicken badami tikka, potato wedges, paneer tikka, Crispy baby corn, vegetable tikki, cheese ball, jamaican jack chicken, barbecue chilli chicken, pizza, mustard fish.Among the starters I liked the crispy baby corn and jamaican jack chicken most.There is also a wide range of menu in main course also. Soup, rice, vegetables, dal, noodles, chicken, mutton, fish, biriyani everything is there.But if you go you must try chicken biriyani and mutton roganjosh.In weekdays its Rs 599 including tax, which is quite reasonable.

Theyve introduced numerous cocktails and mocktails.Their special buffet lunch offer at just Rs. 650+ taxes is available exclusively at the salt lake outlet.Peeps what are you waiting for ?

Good place, good ambiance and tasty food. I was on a date and it was not a good experience. One waiter named Sing Chong was not at all cooperative. I asked for some other product and he forcefully asked me to take some other and apart from asking to change it he forcefully served us. Also, Im not satisfied with the billing part. Bira Whites price on bottle is Rs. 130 but they were charging Rs. 295 for it. When I asked and resisted no satisfactory answer was given. Altogether I was not happy in my 1st visit.

A very good place to have buffet and chillout.The starters were exceptional speacially the chicken reshmi kebab and fish. The pizza was also something thatI wasn’t expecting at all in the starters. The main course was good but not great. In the deserts section there aren’t too many options available, but who is complaining?? The service was also very good. Ultimately the starters are the ones which makes this buffet a must try. I was so excited that I only got pictures of the leftovers.

A huge bar counter is in front and high bar chairs making the bar complete. On left hand side we got a comfortable sofa. I noticed a separate room for Hookah also. Live match was playing on Projector and music on big speakers. Overall ambience wasnt boring.It took them quite a while to start serving us and I needed to wait with an empty plate in the middle too. There service is pretty slow but they were courteous. So, lets jump into the buffet...Starters (4/5) :------------------------------------I was damm sure that they wont be able to beat BBQ Nation in starters but they almost proved me wrong. There was number of starters including Crispy Chilli Baby Corn, Chilli Fish, Chilli Chicken, Fried Fish, Aaachari Chicken, Hariyali Chicken Tikka, Chilli Paneer, Cheese Balls. Just take a drink and number of starters were more than enough to satisfy.Mains (3/5) :------------------------------------Soup : Only Veg Lemon Coriander Soup was present. Better luck next time Non-Veg soup lovers.Veg Mains : Veg Chilli Garlic Noodles, Corn Palak, Paneer Butter Masala and Steamed Rice was present. I didnt liked the taste of Garlic Noodles, others were very fine.Non-Veg Mains : Chicken Biryani, Raita, Mutton Roganjosh, Oyster Chicken, Grilled Fish in Lemon Mustard Sauce, Prawn Masala was present. Biryani was spicy with rich aroma but chicken pieces was bit dry. Raita made it worthless. Oyster Chicken was average but Lemon Mustard Grilled Fish with its rich mustard flavour was very impressive.Desserts (3/5) :------------------------------------This section was very limited and not really impressive. Sandesh, Khasta Gaja, Chenna Payesh, Kala Jamun, Pumkin Halwa were there and all of those tasted very average. Only Vanilla flavour was available in Ice Cream.Conclusion :--------------------------------This branch of Chai Break isnt limited to cafe only. Apart from full buffet its mainly a bar. For obvious reasons they cannot actually compete Barbeque Nation located just beside it. But the overall experience isnt far behind by paying little less.

Built in Salt Lake Kolkata, Chai break offers great cuisine and a very positive ambience for small chit chats with friends and colleagues. This place is surrounded by large office and becomes an apt place for small meet ups. Food is average but hospitality is great !!

It offers nice eating options as well as liquor and Sheesha arrangements. The place may seem a bit expensive but it is worth the money spent. The crowd is trendy and classy amd you wont have to worry about cheapos. The ambience is amazing with low lit lamps, live music and a TV displaying matches. They have some reward point schemes for regular customers and their redecorations are amazing.
