Big shop. Courteous staff. Chances to get your desired model is high. Its loaction on the 2 nd floor makes it convenient for the consumers to shop.

Bata is the one and only shoe store that has always made us happy with its spectacular and beautiful collection of shoes. But I must mention here that a few stores of Bata dont have good staffs. They carry a very rude behavior and never cooperated with customers. Jadavpur Bata is one of those stores, who made us feel so bad that we stopped visiting Bata. But then we choose to go to South City Bata store and it made us really happy with their service. I visited today with my mom and brother and I am really satisfied with the shoes and the staffs. , I need out the right one. He worked with patience and carried a very polite, professional attitude. He also helped us try out the shoes, especially my mom. I dont know his name but I want to thank him for making us happy and satisfied.

This place felt so changed. I bought a CAT shoe from this store. The products could be a little expensive for middle class but its a good substitute to Woodland or any other brands. This new bata has good range of footwear. This place is good and staff are very polite. Friendly place if you are willing for but some expensive products.

Its changed and for the better. Visit and take back home the comforts that you could wear. Attendants are well behaved. However the under whelming side being less styles.

Extremely indifferent and unhelpful staff. You will pretty much have to help yourself as the staff is quite reluctant to attend to the customer. They would only show u the size you ask them for. If it doesnt fit you wont get any other fittings. Its a very irritating outlet and me and my frds avoid it at all cost

Bata outlet in South city mall. It is located near the parking lot entrance. Variety of men and women shoes and bags,belts are available there. Good quality products are available. Staffs are nice and courteous and very much helpful.

Home delivery services availed due to unavailability of size but they delivered the wrong size.

The store itself is quite nice. Very clean, comfortable temperature & good lighting. It would be better if they had more places to sit & try on shoes. As it is now, when the store is busy, you have to wait for a seat to try on shoes. The selection is average. There were lots of styles that werent available in the color of my choice & lots of colors that werent available in the styles I liked. The quality of the staff is average (overall). Some staff members are incredibly helpful & attentive, while others are rude & seem to resent clients who want to try on several different pairs of shoes before making a final decision. Also, in one of my trips there, the staff member who was ringing me up short changed me Rs. 108. While ringing me up, she took her pocketbook out of her pocket (several times) & counted the money she had in there. After she handed me my change, she was staring at me without saying anything. Her behavior made me suspicious, so I did the math & counted my change. As I suspected, she gave me the wrong change. After she saw me looking at my receipt & counting the notes she had given me, she asked me if she gave me the wrong change. I told her yes, and she then gave me the correct change. Im not 100% sure she was being dishonest, but it really seems like it. If you buy anything from Bata DONT use cash!!! Pay by debit/credit card or digital wallet (like Paytm) only!!! Another problem with Bata is the long & unnecessarily complicated process to exchange an item you dont like. You have to call customer service, file a complaint & then wait for an email from Bata that (supposedly) takes 3 days to arrive before going to the Bata store with your receipt, the email & the unused item(s) you want to exchange. Im still waiting for my email that the Bata customer care person told me theyd send so I can go exchange a wallet I received as a gift (I didnt like the color). It has only been 2 days since I called Bata customer care, so Im hoping that the email arrives in my inbox tomorrow (as promised) so I can go exchange the wallet. All this headache for a simple exchange!!! All in all, I dont like Bata & I really dont want to go there anymore. The only real reason to like Bata is the quality of the product. The quality of the merchandise they sell is better than excellent (in my experience). Also, (as Ive mentioned before) the physical store itself is quite nice, by any standard. And, if youre lucky, youll get a salesperson who is polite & willing to do some work to help you find your new pair of shoes. That being said, I gave Bata 3 stars (instead of 1 star). I had the worst experience of my life over here. There were four of us and naturally a lot of shoe shopping was in our list which would take some time. Out of nowhere all of a sudden at 9.15 the store personnel just switched all the lights off and declared that the store is closed. We were done with 5 pairs and was just checking the size of the last pair, but they could not even give us 5mins time. They just completely denied to bring any stock for size and just literally threw us out. I have never been more shocked in my life. When i complained to the customer care, even he showed very cold and bad attitude. This was the last thing i could expect from bata, from where we have been purchasing for years. A brand can never become too large to value its customers, i hope they will feel likewise someday.
