Good behaviour staff

The current vet partha sarathi nag (I have attached his picture) is extremely rude, unprofessional and inattentive. I have been visiting this hospital with my pets for a long time. This was my most terrible experience till date, will not visit again until there is a new vet.

My dog got parvo virus from that hospital when her rabis vaccination was done...because i went to the same hospital for the treatment parvo and there my dog vomited during saline. We have cleaned the area with a cloth and after the saline process done I have seen that another dog laid on the same table without it was cleaned with phenol..and parvo virus infects through the vomit and faces.So its obvious that my dog got the same virus from another dog who laid vomitted or pooped on that table..

Great and helpful doctors.

Cheap and possibly the most reliable place where one can get their pets a medical checkup, but being a Govt. Service Department the employees and even the vets can be very lousy at times. You may need to have a lot of patience sometimes if you really want your pets to get a proper checkup and/or treatment at minimal expenses.

One And Only Place After Belgachia Veterinary Hospital, Where All The Animals Are Treated At Very Low Cost, Even In Emergency Surgery Is Also Done. All Staff Are Experienced, Well Trained. Doctor Are Also Good, Specially Dr. Gopal(Im Not Sure About His Name), He Is Really Good Doctor.

Its a very good hospital. I am taking my Beagle Puppy there regularly. Docs are very good. But there helping hands are lazy. You need to keep an eye on them. They treat your pets very well. But this is Polyclinic not an hospital.

Worst experience..my cat was suffering from shortness of breath..after checking up they didnt say anything clearly then they gave her an injection and suddenly my cat started vomiting and died..

Good veterinary Polyclinic with adequate facilities. The Doctor is very good and knowledgeable. Dont hesitate to bring your pet for regular checkups.

It is located at the back side of Barasat Central Bus Stand. The area is quite big hence parking is not a problem. Most of the vaccines for dogs, goats, cows are free and available. Few are not available. Other than the basic medicines, rest needs to be bought from outside. Doctors are good but not that co-operative. Facilities are okay but can be improved a lot.

Dr. Partha Sarathi Nag, currently appointed as the doctor there, is one of the most reputed doctors in Kolkata region.

I wanted to give zero star. The doctor has no humanity. My friend wanted to save life of a street dog. When he visited the hospital, doctor closed the hospital. He requested the doctor to treat the dog. He said that he did not want to break the rule and it is the time to close the hospital. Rules are for the betterment for everyone. Here the doctor only cares for so called rules.

I dont know if there is better veterinary hospital or not in the district but it us too old and needs to be reformed.

Systematic have to get token to visit doctor and and doctor goes through patient by the token number and those token valid for 6 days also.

Staffs here are awesomely worst.Most Doctors are quite rude in mood... But few doctors are good on behaviorThere is a 4th class lady staff who perfectly looks always in a rude mood 24*7.I am not happy at all..

Nice Place and opens early in the morning around 9:00 am and doctor start visiting around 9:30-9:45 am and Dr. Samantho is very brilliant doctor and very friendly.

Doctors always available. Shortage of staff but very skilled staff. Open weekdays 10am to 3pm and Saturday 10am to 12.30pm. Sundays closed.

No. of staffs are very less according to the need. Our Government doesnt recruit or supply staffs as required. Lack of maintenance. Doctors doesnt provide any medicine for Pets except cattles. Staffs are not well trained to handle your aggressive pets during vaccination. They will ask for your help instead.Even some honour Vets complain against these all but you know our so called Govt doesnt give any damn.Some of the Officers are very helpful. If you need any attest copies by Gazetted Officers they help a lot.

All the treatment of all types of animal done here and E.C.G. & U.S.G. done here. Later X- Ray will be done. The treatment is very good . Three doctors and 7 supporting stuff work there.

Only Dr. Gopal Samanta is extremely good and a all rounder. Ronit Nag is not a doctor at all he dont know the diagnosis and he is having no idea about medicine. Assistant Sanjay also not good in technical hands.I am giving 5 Star to Dr. Gopal Samanta only.

THE DOCTOR IS VERY GOOD AND HELPFULL, BUT THE HOSPITAL STAFFS ARE VERY MUCH IMPOLITE AND MANY OF THEM ARE UNWILLING TO WORK. THERE TIFFIN HOURS STARTING FROM 1.00 PM AND END AT 3.00. AFTER THAT THEY ARE VERY TIRED AND WITHIN 3.30 YOU CANT FIND THEM IN HOSPITAL.ONLY THE DOCTOR(MR. SAMANTA) AND MAYBE 1 STAFF IS AVILABLE TO ATTAND.

Worse place and worst hospitality. Well, thats the USP of every Govt. organization.

District veterinary hospital located near Barasat champadali Titumir bus stand. It is well equipped, all facilities available for veterinary treatment.

Only Dr. Gopal Samanta is there who looks after animals carefully.Hes also probably best doctor in Barasat region.He mainly treats dogs. Otherwise,others are just useless.Theyve just got job & now spending their Govt. job leisure time.

This Hospital is located in such a congested area bit difficult to locate it . The infrastructure is not good at all .The entire environment of the Hospital is Untidy and Unhygienic still the better sides are here the rate of operation and other treatments are very cheap. The Doctors and other paramedical staffs are very much cordial with the pets and Patient parties , specially - I would like to share my recent experience (since 13th Feb18 to on date) - my pet was suffering from a tumor of Purulent Nature on its Shoulder (outside) of size 5cmx 3cm(appx.), Lipoangiomatoid Hamartoma since 1 and 1/2 yreas, Photos before operation and after operation also posted below , I ran to all reputed Vet. Hospitals in Kolkata and in 24pgs(N), none of the Hospitals and Doctor were ready to take the risk of operation as my pet was of 10yrs.and six month old it was suspected carcinoma, lastly when I met Dr. Gopal Samanta ,a Courageous ,Experienced ,Knowledgeable ,expert of This Vet. Polyclinic he treat my Dog so cordially and steadily after proper Blood test, X-Ray, U.S.G. and with proper medication he made my Pet fit for operation and did the magical operation on 12/04/2018 and guided for post operative cares to make my Pet quite fit and better than ever before. Hats off Sri Samanta once again thanks a lot.

There is no good doctor is available, most of the time they are closed, in holidays , in festivals they are closed. Sometimes they don’t have any doctor in the entire hospital. My dog was given wrong treatment for 3year. I have personally suffered a lot.
