Average hotel was there for quarantine room are Ok but it is surely not 5 star so for 3 star rooms are ok and food is average location is quite good and there are malls nearby for shopping room service is quite good

Hotel property is nice, quite big property; however it is tedious one, as they have just one lift in the entire building, also no stair case available for general use, quite surprised not to find one, how they will handle the crowd in the time of crisis like fire outbreak, earthquake etc.Moreover the staff is really rude they dont know how to talk to their guest I would definitely not like to visit such place where hotel staff dont respect their guests.Also being in the service industry, they dont know how to keep up with the commitment; either you dont give the commitment, if you give then fulfill it.

I have no idea how this hotel is considered as 5 star. 3 star hotels are better than this. Be warned, if you have allergies, dont visit this hotel. The entire floor where our room was smelled like mold and it gave me a bad headache as I have dust allergy. The images on the website are totally misleading. The room size in reality is very very small. So is the bed size. Ac is not that great either. At least it wasnt until I called a guy to fix it. They rarely clean the air filters in AC which hinders its ability to cool the room. The food here is expensive for no reason. I mean if I am staying in a mold covered tiny room with bad cooling system, small beds and broken kettle, why should I pay a premium amout for the food? The view from the room is also very bad. There is construction work going on everywhere around this hotel and if you are someone who needs a decent view of the city from their room, you will be disappointed. They even told me that their pool is closed. That too on a sunday afternoon. It clearly shows how poorly the hotel is managed and you should stay away from it if you value your health and wealth.

I had very bad experience stay here at this place Well i will tell you briefly, the AC problem, I am asthma patient i need air to breathe, I carry my all SOS life-saving drugs medicines and a small pocket O2 for emergency. Well this room AC was not working after checking, i tried to follow up many times but honestly it was very poor response from management team, although the property is good by things but the management was poor in service, the AC problem was so high that Maintance guy came and checked, 5 times in whole tour, but he was failed to repair that but when i stick asked I am leaving hotel else change my room, they did something to my room that ac was good for next 45-60 minutes but again after that AC failed, asked no. of times to change my rooms, but they didnt 4 times when maintance boy came he said yes the room AC is having problem, i get angry again i ask to number 4, 9 and 3 but no one reply it hurts me and getting frusted a lot, everyone is transferring call but no one help, one more things when i call to these number they dont took Action immediately, they never send any person immediately, and 5 times i was restless in oximeter my O2 was very low, 79-81 then i ordered medicines and took my o2 bottle for breathe and ordered medicine and again they started natak, they say they didnt allow outside things, my health was low i shouted asked its a medicines why cant you cooperate, they stop that delivery boy at gate for 15-20 min, when he deliver medicined to reception they was not sending up, forcely i said, then they send after an hours immediately i checked out, i gone to hospital and im here for checkups, and there are 2 other problems they given. That bad food.

My stay at the Pride Plaza hotel was simply amazing. Staffs at the hotel are very professional, courteous, and most importantly, very helpful. Room with the view from the room were just perfect giving you a truely luxurious experience. Finally, I must say that I had awesome complimentary breakfast every morning.

Worst place to stay in Kolkata. It does not fits to be in 5 star category, We were provided unhygienic and dirty room , we had to change the room twice before they gave a proper room but not before keeping us waiting for nearly half and hour. The valet who took us to the room gave us the excuse that the housekeeping department of the hotel does not work efficiently , as a customer we are not interested in such excuses. There was no security at gate , no valet to bring down our luggage from the room during check out today morning. Even on the last day , we had asked on the previous night for our breakfast to be packed , when we collected the pack , packed was dirty and full of fungus , on complaining they kept us waiting , on the pretext of changing the packets , we had to leave without breakfast for airport as it was getting late for our flight. The receptionist did not even apologise for the dirty food packets but rudely said us to wait , for the fresh packets. First time in my life faced such unprofessional attitude in a 5 star hotel

No photos and no room type mentioned in day room . It must be there as at hotel reception they are providing any random low room and for better room you need to pay extra for which no invoice will be there.

The room was excellent. However, as it was the top floor, a temperature of 20 was not enough to cool it down. Requested reception to do so but it wasnt done. Also the biryani is too oily and spicy so would request to keep Kolkata biryani in the dining option. a pair of slippers and bathrobes could be made available. Apart from these everything about the stay was excellent and would visit again.

Just lovely stay we had in this hotel.The rooms are big enough with every needed items or refreshments, cleanliness is really good.The view from the room is awesome, you can see Newtown properly from a glass window. All rooms are available with centrally AC system.Very nice and pleasent say we had.But the food section is quite bad.Not many items are available which are written in catalogue.Food quality is also not so much good.

Stay for 1night 2 days but Not at All satisfied with Service( not even extra bed cover provided instead of asking). Food was average(2nd day lunch was better but breakfast was not good, as pav bhajis Bhaji was like some watery gravy of different sabzis).May be as we r in group so they think & treat us like that.It is not my intention to throw garbage upon them. I just want to correct their mistake as they are very big brand and they should maintain their level.

There should be negative rating for this hotel.Pathetic stay during a wedding ceremony of my brother. A completely mismanaged staff , worst amenities and to the extent they dont even go with the things you have decided during the time of booking.No ac working, stinking rooms, cobwebs in rooms, fridge & lockers not working, lobby ac was never turn on, etc etc. A huge list to describe inspite of complaing to manager again and again.Even they didnt stop there. The menu decided for the functions were not served . Ever now n then counters were empty n guest have to wait for long, no staff to serve.This even doesnt end here. The last day toilet celling fell in one of our room when the guest was in the bathroom.The hotel has made a worst arrangements for our guest and even went in argue once payment was cleared.

The experience was not so good and it very poor. I didnt expect this type of experience from a hotel like Pride.In the reception they welcome us and they gave the key and told us to go to the room . They should have provided someone to guide us.All night a lot of noise coming from the corridor. Randomly ppl knocking on the door .Nobody cares as if everyone is invisible.I got more than better experience from a low star hotel than this to be very honest.

Worst stay had booked for a marriage function for 2 days , nothing was working, air conditioner, toilet, staff didnt listen, lack of staff, food not cooked evenly, there was a accident a shower panel fell in one of the rooms, there were shortage of plates and glasses unable to provide for 50 peoples also, management was worst was unable to reply or provide the essentials , never ever book this hotel or else your planning might be ruined , everything was like a dhaba road side dhaba, lights were off most of the time

Worst experience I had in this hotel, attending a conference in 2021. Flies were wondering on the dishes of the buffet. The waiters who were attending the buffet were very keen to take your plates, while you had unfinished business in the buffet.Very unprofessional bad hotel, even a two star hotel would had much better hospitality than it.

The hotel staff are polite and the hospitality is really good. The service is fast, the rooms are clean and well maintained, the ambiance is really good. Even the swimming pool was really good. We tried the breakfast buffet ehich was amazing with lots of options.

Well located decent property. Good for business and solo travellers. Nice arrangements for small group meetings and mid size conference. The management is very good and flexible. Rooms are clean and offer a good view. Rooftop smimming pool is nice for a dip in summer. Breakfast is not huge but has a nice spread. Food taste is always spot on. Chef goes an extra mile to accommodate your request. Overall a good bargain for your money.

This property is located in New Town which is having close proximity to Airport. Rooms were spacious, stuff were well behaved and here all covid protocol are maintained as required. Room and washroom were clean, required toileteries were provided during our stay. Only food were bit overpriced compare to its quality and quantity. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel to stay. But it better corporate/business meetings. About 28Kms from city. I recommend it for business purposes and suggest tourists/family person to stay in Kolkata if you are on touristic purposes. Otherwise I found the staff including manager are caring and polite.

Stayed in room 717, the ac does not work, called the reception multiple times throughout the day and then the ac got fixed , which again stopped working later, I didn’t not expect this from a 5 star hotel.The servers during buffet breakfast were really nice and helpful, but the fruit salad had flies all over it.. still not sure why this happens in a 5 star property. The dinner package was really basic, I have stayed in other 5 star hotels and this was the most basic food I ever had. I am not going ever again

Bad staff. Bad behaviour. Unhygienic kitchen and the crockery and cutlery isnt washed properly. The food tastes absolutely horrible and is relatively expensive. Not worth your time and money. The staff are undertrained and very unprofessional. The staff cant describe the items on the menu properly and communication skills lack and it shows that they hire untrained personnel. The management is horrible. They lie very much. The laundry is in an unhygienic place where it stinks of sewerage.

I am very happy with the services of the Hotel and my experience was very pleasant. The staff is very helpful. I met Chef Ganesh Ji and he was very generous to make a special cake for me at my marriage anniversary on 16.01.21. This was totally his initiative and the cake was complimentary gift from him. I recommend the Hotel as well as the Hotels restaurant Cafe Treat. Keep up the good work guys ...

Attended marriage of my relative, room sizes are good, Restaurant staff is very polite and Cooperative, overall staff is good, but they need to improve in room service, I have given cloth to Laundry for Ironing and they promised to deliver in 30-45 minutes, but i got the clothes after 150 minutes after 8-10 calls and my visit to the front desk, bad thing was 2-3 time they disconnected the calls even when I have not used a single bad word,When i asked the reason of delay to the delivery boy he told that Its delayed because of the mistake of laundry staff, they washed the cloth instead of ironing and they did not informed me and keep saying that my cloth will reach to my room in 5 minutes.झूट ना बोल कर अगर सही बात बताई होती तो मे दूसरे कपड़े पहन कर पार्टी Join कर लेता.They dont have sufficient no of Irons for the room. As per their support staff they have only 8 irons.I wanted to give 5 star but giving 4 star because of above issues which can be improved easily, feeling very bad because they have puts lots of effort and got good support.

3 stars for the nice bed and spacious bathroom. Everything else is absolutely useless. The windows were not clean. The room service guys are unresponsive. We called twice to inform about the dysfunctional central cooling unit, but in vain. Absolutely abysmal service. Really expected better.

Self stayed in room no 821 from 15th to 18th April 2021. We were served a packed food for 3 days on account of covid, same menu was served on all 3 days without any change in tase or menu.My room could not get wifi connection from hotel.The air conditioning system in the room was very poor, self had to call service technician he also could not reslove the issue.There were worms moving around the toilet bowl.

One of the worst experience I got while attending a conference at this hotel. They claim it to be a 5star hotel. However, there is none from hospitality to service. Flies were wondering over the foods, which were going to be served at lunch. They were very keen to take your plate, while you have unfinished business in lunch.

The hotel is clean and with adequate space. But for a hotel to be reviewed good by its customers it needs to have the addon services easy & affordable. The Pride plaza restaurant is seriously over priced. One cannot afford any meal from this hotel. To be precise, a can of Sprite with MRP Rs 25 costs Rs 207/- here. A simple roti costs Rs 125. Normal steamed rice costs Rs 350/-. Dal costs Rs 450/-. Three egg omellete costs Rs 345. The hotel for dining is a nightmare. I ended up paying Rs 2000/- for two time meal. For people who can carry their own meal or with fat pockets can easily afford this hotel.

The food was very spicey even though i told them very specifically that it shouldnt be, found cockroaches in the room even though after showing them they upgraded it but the restaurant people shows attitude misbehave talks rudely mainly the guy named Krishna Ghosh he was very unmannered they have miscommunication between them and we had problem with car parking as well

My experience was not very good with Pride Hotel, however food at their restaurant was good.1. I booked online and they gave me twin bed room. I asked for joining the beds, they charged me for extra bed (1071 per night) for 2 nights which is unfair.2. There was no towels at shower area. Next day I had to call house keeping to give me towels.3. When checking out their POS machine was faulty, I tried 3 different debit and credit cards, but the person at billing counter insisted that the problem is with my card. I had to take a taxi to visit nearest ATM ( as the ATM nearby wasnt working) to withdraw cash and when I came back they told me, the POS machine was faulty and they have different machine (brought from other floor) which can be used now.4. Near Lift area was always dirty with too many tooth picks on floor

Visited the Pride Palza Hotel banquet to participate in a conference. Location wise the hotel is excellently placed. Very close to the major Rajarhat byepass and the famous Biswa Bangla Gate. The plase is still developing, so its construction all around. Staff were courteous but a bit slow to react. Food was okay, but nothing excellent. They had a good platter of cookies with tea.

A black mark on a so called 5 star hotel.. Dey clear the breakfast table where my key card was kept... I had to pay for another key card @299+ tax.. totally disappointing... Staff is so rude... They say a big NO upright when they have to deny for some service... Very rude behaviour. Will never ever suggest this hotel to anyone .

I visited Cafe treat on Valentines day. Ambience was okayish food was nothing to talk about. Probably wont go back!

First of all the place is quite far from the city, which will not be accessible for an ordinary person unless you have your own convence.Secondly, had been there for a wedding reception, the journey to the venue spot was too much walkable journey, moreover it is impossible for aged persons to climb down stairs to reception arena,the so-called pool side from sixth floor.Thirdly the food quality,arrangements and the set menu wasnt satisfying,charging hectically to the clients. Had a bad experience.

It become my first visit to Kolkata and i stayed at satisfaction motel Newtown for 3 weeks. its far a business lodge and has an amazing region with all facilities like health club , bar and swimming pool.The quality part of the motel became it’s meals and carrier. It has a superb buffet unfold for breakfast.i would love to mainly mention Chef Khan for the fantastic food, he also luckily does customisations as in step with your taste.massive thanks to provider workforce Uttam and Goutam who had been efficient of their paintings notwithstanding being very busy breakfast at instances and went greater mile to make guest’s meal fun.thanks to rest of the group which includes Sanjoy Anirban Tanmay along with kitchen group, housekeeping team for making my staycomfortable. thank you group satisfaction🙏🏻
