I removed one star because of the late check-in process. Although they have called me asking my arrival time, and despite of reaching the hotel on time, it took more than half an hour for check-in. This was the only disappointment for me. Otherwise the property is well maintained, very nice ambience at the lounge. You will actually enjoy sitting there at the lounge area. Staff behavior was good enough. Food was also good and fairly priced. I ordered pasta for dinner, and I had to pay almost 1000 (As its a 5 Star property). It also has very good night clubs inside the property. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Too small rooms. One has to call several times their reception for ordering room service. Only good is that:- you get a clear view of the busiest part of the city. My take:- not worth it. Better to go other hotels

Excellent location right on park Street. Stay was pleasant and staff were responsive and helpful with everything. Only small issue I could think of, could be that some furniture/layout is a bit old (for example, there were only 2 charging ports and both were on the table far away from the bed - in spite of having 2 night stands, there wasnt a charging slot near them)

One of my favourite place for weekend night dinner🍕👌.You can go any time in the restaurant, good place , views are osm , hygiene place , food quality are very good, eat what ever you want to eat. They have everything for customers. You can also go with your friends, family, Girlfriend/Boyfriend 👍 good place for everyone.

This is a five star hotel, situated at Park Street. The cuisine, bar, restaurant inside the hotel are good. This hotel has the famous night club.

Located at the heart of the city!Stayed for a week here and had no complaints whatsoever.The staff here are quite friendly and always there for your service.Food is delicious, although a tad expensive. But as there are many famous eateries nearby, food wont be much of a problem!Overall, my experience at The Park was very satisfying and do recommend it to be your place of stay.

Before visiting them, there are around 5 phone nos. of park hotel lounges. None of them were answered. 2 were switched off. Anyway we payed a visit and I could not see the reception staff at many lounges. We were to visit Aqua lounge and there was no one to guide us which table we should take. We had to locate a staff member who pointed us to a waiter and then we were given a table. I didnt expect this type of carelessness and service from The Park and Aqua.

I personally am not a big fan of dark interiors especially black themed ones. It has this old kolkata feeling for sure. But I suppose with the increased hotel options they need to upgrade super soon. I must say food quality is amazing and at par, a little steep pricewise in comparison but definitely delicious. Wont recommend personally to anyone.

The night staff is a little rude. And the room had a smoking odour. The rooms has all the basic requirements. The plugs are hard to access. Have to call the technician to use them. The location is very convenient. Near all shopping area

The park hotel was very good. It has a big parking area. The inside decorations and staffs behaviors were very good.

Each and every stay at the Park has been always memorable. The prime reason for staying with them is the superb location, that exclusive nightlife (hard to find in Kolkata), wonderful services and nice comfortable rooms. Right from the check-in experience to restaurant to housekeeping till check-out, its mostly been a pleasant experience (few issues here & there). Quite clean and hygiene, they try their best to maintain quality in all aspects.

Worst Experience ever. I stayed from 27th August 2021 to 30th August 2021. Disgusting and horrible experience. Room service worst. Food quality worst and overpriced. No privacy. Bad hospitality. Wasted my three night stay. Didn’t expect it from The Park being a regular customer.

The Park hotel is located in a very prime location park street, kolkata. We have booked 2 rooms for a night along with the banquet the rose. Room ambience is ok not as expected and service is fine. They have given the breakfast complimentary. All essential things is available in washroom like tooth paste, tooth brush, comb, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, etc. One locker and small fridge will be provided inside a room. Per room cost you approx Inr 5000 per night.

Have some great Restaurants in the city. The poolside lounge Aqua, Far Eastern food at Zen and Indian food at the Saffron. Some of the best night spots in the city such as Someplace Else, Roxys and Tantra. Food here is really good. Enjoyed all my visits here over the years

A good option in luxury scale located at the ❤️ of the city. Large banquet space facilitates different types of corporate and media events. Evening is fun filled as there are lot of outlets which pumps up your energy at night. Located in Park Street area and close to Esplanade area also provides you with ample option for shopping within a range of walking distance. Rooms are quite nice and standard in size. Food is good too. The drawback is that it has a pretty small lobby which gives a claustrophobic feel although it gives a chic feeling.

The Park Hotel ,Kolkata is located on Park Street in Central Kolkata region. It is located at the crossing of Park Street & Russell Street. It is located beside Apejay House. It is a well known hotel chain. We attended a reception at Rosewood banquet in Park hotel. It is well connected through road and it is also accessible through Metro railway service as Park Street Metro Station is adjacent to it.

My one night in The Park Kolkata has been a nightmare. Not sure from where to start and end. Because of this pandemic most flights are having layovers. I started my journey early morning 3 am & reached the hotel around 1.30pm, just wanting to enter the room and get a good sleep. The receptionist Ms Sadia Afreen was very rude. We were to check out late the next day. Upon asking the same, her blunt reply was that as she was giving an early check-in to us, the best she could do was charge 4k + taxes additional for it and took the cc details right then and there, which many hotel does not & allows the guests to pay during the check out. It made us feel like as if we will run away without paying the bill. Also the looks she was giving, with her eyes rolling was very bad. It was very humiliating for us. I have no idea, on how she judges her guests, but we could clearly see that she was giving bizarre looks, just because a person chooses to dress simple and modest. Rahul was however very humble. But seriously Sadia has no sympathy towards her guests, and I guess she choose a wrong profession, because the basic hospitality rule is to be hospitable. Next we go the room, and to our horror finds how badly the rooms were maintained. I could smell a bad stench on the room and my husband finds a cockroach flying in the washroom, we immediately asked for a room change. The house keeping manager Ms Anushka, was too good. She had the patience to understand the guests requirement. After seeing 3 rooms, finally we settled in. As we had a long journey, we just wanted to have our lunch and sleep. Our patience level gets tested at the restaurant, as the staffs were just aloof of what’s happening in the restaurant. We were under an Map plan and we never got any instructions from anyone on what are the items covered under the plan.Usually when a person chooses an map plan they generally get to choose a soup, starter, main course and a desert, My spouse asked for mutton biryani Kolkata style under main course & the steward directly said that prawns and mutton does not come under Map plan, and mutton is not available. We wanted to have a word with the chef, but chef never showed her face. She literally did not care about it. Wonder what justice she will do with her food. When we were stern on talking to her, out of the magic the steward comes and says that he can arrange the mutton biryani. We were taken aback on how is it possible ? They served our soup after 1 hour. My spouse had ordered for tomato Shorba and I had ordered for manchow. Tomato shorba, tasted horrible as if it was only tomato purée mixed with hot water. Asking to check the soup, the restaurant manager takes away the soup and never comes back with it. Upon asking about the the soup which we had sent back, he said as we had shared the manchow soup, they assumed, that we would not want it anymore. Already with so much of miscommunication, the manager lastly says that he would be taking care. Mind you it was almost 1 1/2 hours, and yet we were to get the main course. My husband just left the table without eating. The staffs working there are pure pathetic who does not have any empathy and should not be in a hospitality industry at all. I can understand being in a hospitality industry during this pandemic situation, you can be cranky and upset, but you cannot show it to your guests, who are paying for it and not taking it for free. We had spoken to the general manager Mr Bhandari, and I felt that he himself knows the problem but cannot do much about it. He did understand our problems and also helped us with our transportation. The horror continued until next morning, as the washroom flush did not work no matter what. Had to call the maintainer engineer to get the problem solved. And then finally check out by 6pm.My overall exp was a disaster and I wanted to give 0 stars out of 5, but I still gave 2 stars because of Anushka and Mr Bhandari.Would I visit The Park again ???? NO NEVER !!!

Went to Trincas to have dinner with family. Enjoyed every moment I have spent out there. Food was delicious and enjoyed more with live music. The cost of food is also very much pocket friendly. Must visit once. 😊👍

To be honest, it turned out to be the worst 5star property experience ever. Poor management and services. The rooms aren’t up to the standards. There was hair in the kettle provided. The maintenance person took 1 hour 15 mins to reach the room. All in all it’s a no go place.

The Bridge - Great ambience and courteous staff. Its so comfortable, you won’t even feel how much time you end up spending here. Food is equally good. Worth it for quality time in real sense.

Pathetic rooms, Flush not working. In house guest service never responds. Unprofessional staffs. Zero rating in hospitality. Better hotels like Hyaat and Oberoi available at cheap prices. Not worth a stay. More like a OYO rooms

I visited park hotel because there was this discount store for branded goods. Bought myself quite a few clothes. I have visited Park in the past and still remember a coffee shop beside the swimming pool. It, was quite cool at that time. I will sure go there again , this time inside the Park.

This is located just walking distance from park metro. At the entrance there is a coffee shop. Small one but good. Interior is good and attractive. This hotel is very famous and all the staffs are nice and hospitable. Just beside Apeeja house this hotel is located.

The hotel is situated on Park Street. The rooms were good and all covid precautions were followed. The breakfast spread was ok ok. Food is average .They have two of the best hangout places in the town Tantra and some place else. Few of the iconic restaurants of Kolkata are a couple of minutes walk from the place.If someone wants street shopping then Esplanade is 10 minutes walk from the place.The only issue was there is limited room service options and even for the hotel guests the restaurant closes at 8pm.

Very nice ambience. You get the option for both indoor and outdoor to enjoy your meal. There is a separate aqua section and you can enjoy your lunch there as well. Menu did not match with what is available at Dineout but we did got 50% off on Ala Carte. Food quality is good but the service is slow although as it took time for the order to reach our table. Overall nice and budget friendly in one the leading 5 star hotel in the country.

A very nice hotel in a prime location of Kolkata which sadly has lost some of its charm. I would categorize it as a 4* with ease of walk ability on main park street and most interesting places within 5 kms. Has a popular street deli which is great for small eats.

During our stay the hotel allowed parties in all the rooms of the floor downstairs and there were speakers and lights all across the corridor and the adjacent deck area too. So much so that when my husband and I went downstairs to the deck for some fresh air, I returned back to our room hastily as I felt extremely unsafe with drunk people out there. Upon shouting over the phone on the reception person, he said he didnt know when would the party end. However the noise went down a bit after that irritating call I had to make. There were other very visible issues at the property regarding hygiene, food, staffing etc but what could not be forgotten and ignores at all was that college dorm like vicious party at the 5 star (is it still valid for this hotel!!) property. They dont give a single damn about their other resident guests. Our stay was some time back but covid norms were being openly flouted then as well and today I came across a news article stating the same ordeal we went through and the people of this party were arrested too, as per the article. I guess I was staying at a very unsafe place in the heart of the city.

This is one of the most happening and fundamental party places in Kolkata.. located at the heart of the city, it is a big youth crowd puller. Generally the pubs are active with heavy crowd from 11pm and runs till 2:30am. So if youre in search of good party vibes, visit the place within the above mentioned time bracket.

COVID: Absolutely ZERO Covid protocol. No one cares if you have a mask or not. They allow the guests to walk around as if no one has even heard about COVID before.Sleeplessness: Despite multiple phone calls to Reception to at least lower the volume of loud speakers, its all deaf ears. The DJs play music until 2AM in the morning. You finally need to walk upto to the reception and beg them to let you sleep peacefully.In short, if you would like to spend 8,000 rs per night , lose your sleep with DJ music, and even probably contract COVID, then this is the place to book your accommodation.

I was stayed in this hotel for 19 days in june 2021.The rooms are very clean and neat. But the break fast menu was almost same throughout my stay. The responce of reception was not very encouraging.Even repeated internal telephonic calls have very low responce.The covid 19 protocols are not properaly maintained. The left out foods of room service are just laying in the passage for hours.

The motel is right at its services and staying right here feels at ease and comfy. Rooms are a bit small however are at ease with cleanliness and proper hygienic. personnel are precise in behaviour and friendly. Rooms were sanitized daily and sanitizer saved on every ground common areas. Breakfast and dinner had true alternatives in menu. centers like wifi, tea kettle, hair dryer, swimming pool, health club and many others are available. floor ground has pub additionally.

This was a nightmare, they where people screaming and crying and fighting in the middle of the night, I was so scared, rooms smells bad, staff is rude, I ask in the reception if they here the screams and they say “oh yes I heard them” like it was normal, If you are forengeir please DONT STAY HERE!!!!

Back in June 2019, when I stayed at this place, I was disappointed on multiple levels with their “hospitality” and facilities. On being given a candid review, they reached out to me asking for one more chance and stating that they’d like to give me a complimentary night’s stay. Recently I dropped an email “asking” if that offer is still valid for me to avail; but I have not got back ANY response! I’m okay if it’s a “No” but not responding is absolutely unprofessional.I brand name being dragged down in the hospitality domain because they lack “hospitality”!Utter shame!

Good but not best

Absolutely the worst experience at The Park! If youre planning to stay here because its close and convenient to the embassy for your visa interview, I would NOT recommend it! I was locked out of my room until 1am due to mechanical issues with the lock and had my visa appointment the next day at 8:30. All my documents were inside the room so you can imagine the stress level. They took hours to open it up and were not sure about what happened, the worst part is that the reception didnt even give me another room until I had the chief engineer request for another one so that I could get some rest while the were fixing the lock after opening it. They also made me switch rooms earlier that day due to covid related protocols and placed me in an upgraded room which clearly had lock issues. Such a waste of my time, money and unnecessary stress levels. At the end of the day , all you will get is a sorry. Recommend staying somewhere else!!!

The hotel stay was very good, but food is too costly.... The room in which I stayed didnt have a jet shower in the toilet, the hotel should look into it. Rest other things were good.

First of all, happy new year 2021 to everyone. We planned our new year ever celebration at The Bridge inside the park hotel. The place was cosy, ambience was good, however there was still something missing... And that was the service! The restaurant staffs were busy, but still they could have managed some moments saved for us. We had to call them repeatedly and there was little response. Though I personally feel we should be more lenient to catering staffs as they are the ones who get very little appreciation from customers, still this sort of behaviour is not acceptable. Hope this place improves their management.

A false transaction of some amount was made from my account after 15 days of my stay.I have been mailing about this from last 2 and a half months to the lobby manager and other concerned people but there is no response from there end. They just say well check and never revert. I have even called them several times. Shantanu, Devdeep, Vivek and one more. But no response.This is the kind of decorum they maintain.
