Dont know from where the name has come. It is actually Patuli Jheel Par and is situated in Patuli beside the bypass road. It is a nice place to hangout. This place is well decorated and the visual experience is great. The jheel is surrounded by so many sculptures that gives the place an extra charm. Seating arrangements are also very good as the jheel is surrounded by so many benches. There is a replica of Howrah Bridge over the jheel and after sunset when the lights turn on it maximize its beauty.

Nice place for evening and morning walks. It does have place for sitting and resting. The surroundings is really good and calm during early morning and late nights.

Restaurants with good quality foods and sitting arrangements are located within half a km. This place is always monitored with local authorities for public safety. Parking slots are also available and thats free. A couple of Hindu temples are also present on both the corners of Street, which could be a great place to be in an environment of spiritual atmosphere. There is a provision for free parking cars. It is also safe place family visit. Fountains with colourful lights is a great think to watch. Easy transportation is available for all the parts of Kolkata. Metro station is within walking distance. One well decorated Sulabh Complex is is also arranged but the location of the site near fountains is not proper. It seems that the water of the lake in polluted and requires attention of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Nice and well maintained place in patuli. The walk way is very neat and clean, very well decorated to hangout with friends or family members. The park is also wrll maintained and very friendly for small kids.

Nice place . Cool breeze of the jheel . Fast moving cars . Beautiful lightings at the evening . Places to seat . But the problem is too much crowd , people smoking cigarettes and keeping their bikes.just beside the footpath. Moreover one has to travel a long distance to cross the road . The jheel is a bit dirty . And idiots are littering it .
